Blood Awakening: The Strongest Hybrid and His Vampire Bride

Chapter 744: The Child Who Devours Corruption

“It’s quite the miracle that nobody came inside…”

Nikolai mumbled as he glanced towards the eastern entrance, where the door barely stood after the Nosferatu’s assault. He couldn’t help but sigh, overwhelmed by his own lust and the inability to control himself once tempted.

‘No, is it really my fault?’ He shifted his gaze from the door, watching Nikita’s perky buttocks shake slightly each time she wiped between her legs with a damp cloth. The sight alone caused the settled heat in his abdomen to stir. ‘Damn… it. I really am a beast.’

“What’s the matter, baby?”

To his shameful thoughts, Nikita called out to him obliviously while wiping herself on full display, her soft white hair, the swollen pink lips… almost as if she was doing it on purpose to stir his desires once again.

Until Selene suddenly appeared, with her arm raised.

PAH!

Before Nikolai could even register what she was doing, the vampire princess slapped Nikita’s oversized buttocks, creating a ripple.

“Dog bitch, stop filling the room with your disgusting pheromones.”

“Agh! Y-You?! You’re just jealous he was watching me instead of you! Fucking Leach!”

The werewolf immediately jumped atop Selene’s waist and began raining down on her face with heavy blows. Neither of them seemed to remember he was watching, as Selene used her elbows to deflect and counter Nikita’s attacks.

‘Do they never tire of fighting?’

He watched their naked bodies bouncing, jiggling and pressing against each other to create the most erotic sights.

However, there wasn’t enough time after they spent the morning having sex.

“…You….”

“Haa…. what about it?! Hah?!” Selene wiped the sweat from her brow before quickly wrapping her body in a faint blue glow. Ice particles formed from the excess blood she’d spilt fighting against Nikita, soon glistening and shattering to cool the air.

‘Oh… this is good.’

Nikolai wiped himself down thanks to the cool air.

Then he started dressing himself in the spare clothes left by the commander before he left.

As he fastened his belt, his eyes remained focused on his two wives, who glared at each other while dressing themselves.

“Alright, stop fighting.”

Selene wore a simple pair of black suit pants, a white shirt and a spare black blazer. Although her shirt buttons looked strained to the point they might pop open at any sudden movement due to Selene’s full mounds.

Meanwhile, Nikita chose a pair of tightly fitting denim shorts that barely covered her thighs, a loose t-shirt and a sports bra.

‘Honestly, the clothes suit them both perfectly…’

“Tsk, who do you think was the one who caused it?!” Nikita hummed in defiance before skipping over and taking his arm.

“Alright, alright, it’s my fault for having the most beautiful and sexy wives.”

He couldn’t complain; this lovely woman had just given him the best blowjob of his life, and the sex was mindblowing.

“Ehehe~”

“Darling, you shouldn’t always forgive her. Dogs only learn through proper discipline.”

With a snort, Selene stepped beside Nikolai with a smirk on her lips. She glared at Nikita for a moment before raising her arm and shifting her gaze to peek at Nikolai’s face.

“Yes, yes, now let’s head back to the mansion… It’s about time Kumi and Rika gave birth.”

‘Selene’s titjob and efforts weren’t any less mindblowing…’

Nikolai sighed, gently hooking his arm around Selene’s elbow. ‘This girl loves playing hard to get at the strangest times.’ He didn’t mind how the two women acted because, despite this, Selene carried a special place in his heart, one that was unshakable.

The same went for Nikita.

“Mhm~ I can’t wait to get home and see our babies.”

“You’re right, I hope Leonid is doing okay.”

The trio stepped towards the door, no longer fighting or arguing.

‘Figures, once it comes to our children, these women stop fighting and become the strongest allies… haha.’

He slipped his arms around their bodies tighter, enjoying the warmth and supple softness of their curves before heading outside.

Today, he wouldn’t think about the battle they barely broke even.

‘My new children, somehow I can tell they’ll be born today.’

“Hey, darling… when we deal with those bastards, what do you think about a holiday?”

Nikita’s sudden question came from nowhere, and even Selene’s eyes shifted to the small werewolf with her mouth opened wide.

“Oh, a holiday?”

“Mhm, we can take everyone… is it not okay?”

“That sounds pretty good—I am sure Leonid would love that.”

Even Selene agreed once she recovered.

‘Hmmm…’

Nikolai didn’t answer her straight away, his eyes shifting between the two women before glancing towards the distant horizon.

‘Maybe a holiday, or just a break for everyone, would be for the best.’

…

Meanwhile, at the VIP wing of the Volkov underground hospital.

“Hurry, get her to the operating room!”

“Hnnnnng…! My baby…. please…. it hurts…. help the baby…!”

Kumiko struggled on the bed, her arms and legs restrained as veins bulged from her forehead, with sweat mixed with tears dripping down her cheeks.

“How did nobody notice this?!”

She could feel a dull ache spreading through her stomach, as countless dark veins bulged from her belly, making it seem grotesque, like a monster.

‘Husband…. our child is in danger… Where are you?!’

“D-Doctor… we have no idea! It just happened overnight as if by magic…”

The rapid bleeping from the machines attached to Kumiko echoed through the narrow private corridor as several doctors and nurses rushed her into the operating room with ashen faces.

In her hazy state, Kumiko found herself clutching the soft hand of her personal doctor, a woman she doubted at first… a sensual and erotic woman whom her husband would likely find attractive.

“M-Miranda….”

Despite her slurred and troubled speech, Miranda quickly reacted.

The tall, voluptuous doctor with long, slightly curly black hair tied in a bun gently squeezed Kumiko’s hand, smiling down at her with sharp eyes. “Do not worry, Madam Kumiko. I will do everything I can for your child.”

….

Without a moment’s hesitation, Miranda Cummings called out to the doctors and took control of the situation.

“Hurry up, we don’t have time to panic. Prep everything—I will perform the surgery!”

“Yes, Doctor!”

The doors slammed shut behind them.

Miranda released Kumiko’s hand only long enough to wash, sterilise and pull on her gloves. Her sharp gaze remained focused on the dark veins crawling across the pregnant woman’s abdomen, pulsing like a living creature beneath her golden skin.

‘This isn’t normal corruption…’

She had seen the remnants extracted from the other Volkov werewolves after the previous attack.

A black organism created to invade their blood, restrict their transformations and slowly devour them from the inside.

However, this was different. Bizarrely, the corruption surrounding Kumiko’s womb wasn’t attacking her child.

It was being pulled towards it.

“Doctor Cummings!”

“I can see it.”

The dark veins contracted.

Kumiko’s entire body arched against the restraints.

“AHHHH!”

Her scream filled the operating room as the monitors began bleeping faster.

Bleep! Bleep! Bleep!

“Her heart rate is climbing!”

“Blood pressure is dropping!”

Miranda stepped beside Kumiko’s stomach and pressed her palm against the swollen flesh. The black veins reacted immediately, gathering beneath her hand before spreading away like frightened worms.

‘Is this thing avoiding me…? No…’

Her eyes narrowed, focused on the movements.

‘It’s moving towards the child… but.’

“Hurry, bring me the portable scanner!”

A nurse wheeled the machine closer, her hands trembling as Miranda pressed the probe against Kumiko’s abdomen.

The screen flickered.

For several seconds, there was nothing but static and overlapping shadows.

Then the outline of the child appeared.

Miranda froze.

“What is that…?”

The baby remained curled inside Kumiko’s womb, but countless black threads stretched from the surrounding tissue and gathered around its small body.

They didn’t pierce the child.

Instead, they vanished beneath its skin.

The corruption was being absorbed.

Each dark pulse of corrupted energy entered the baby before faint golden light spread across its veins, suppressing the black mass before it could consume anything and soon, the entire thing dissipated.

‘Did the baby just absorb the corruption?!’

A faint flicker spread in the child’s chest as its aura faintly grew.

Miranda’s eyes widened in shock.

“How?!”

‘The mother’s golden blood is stabilising it.’

Yet there was something else about this curse that almost took the lives of countless werewolves and Volkov family members; even Nikolai himself almost died.

‘Does this child carry the power of her father too?’

The same unnatural power that carried the aura of the evil god sleeping inside him seemed docile and cute whenever it met the golden blood of Kumiko and her child.

Was it thanks to the child’s three bloodlines mixing together, forcing the corruption into something new?

“This is something I must tell him…”

Miranda focused her eyes, absorbing every subtle change as the golden blood surrounded and devoured the black blood.

‘The child is protecting her mother…’

The difference between the child’s golden blood and Kumiko’s was obvious; the sheen, brilliance and abilities were completely different.

‘If Kumiko’s powers can calm and guide the evil blood… the child’s can absorb, devour and purify that blood… But what is left behind…? What kind of blood…’

Beep!

The noise woke Miranda from her daze.

How could she linger when Kumiko’s body was at its limits? Although the child was desperate to save its mother, the help came too late. Kumiko’s bodily functions were already failing.

Kumiko’s body was already failing.

“Prepare for an emergency caesarean.”

“Doctor, her condition—”

“If we leave the child inside, they both die.”

Miranda looked towards the anaesthetist.

“Do it.”

Kumiko barely reacted as the mask covered her face.

Her hazy golden eyes remained open, searching the room as though Nikolai might suddenly appear beside her.

“My… baby…”

Miranda leaned closer.

‘Damn it, damn it…. damn it!’

“I will do everything I can, Kumiko.”

The two had become conversation partners over the past few weeks. Miranda knew it was wrong and against all ethics. But Kumiko was just too gentle and kind.

‘Anyone who could resist her charm is a robot!’

Kumiko’s eyes slowly closed.

The monitors continued screaming.

Bleep! Bleep! Bleep!

“Scalpel.”

The instrument was placed in Miranda’s hand.

She made the first incision.

Blood gathered immediately, but instead of its normal crimson colour, golden liquid mixed with thin black strands seeped from the wound.

The assistant beside her recoiled.

“It’s contaminated!”

“Don’t touch the black tissue.”

Miranda carefully widened the opening, but unlike the others, she didn’t care. The black blood moved like small tendrils with minds of their own.

“Ngh!”

A black thread pierced her wrist, sinking into her flesh with a sharp bite.

Yet she continued to operate.

‘This pain is nothing!’

The corruption reacted violently.

Black tendrils pushed through Kumiko’s flesh and wrapped around the surgical instruments, melting against the metal with a faint hiss.

Tssssss—

“What the hell is that?!”

“Hold her steady!”

Kumiko’s body convulsed.

The restraints strained against her wrists and ankles as dark veins spread across her chest and throat.

“Her oxygen is falling!”

“Give her more!”

“It isn’t working!”

Miranda cut through another layer.

Her hands remained steady despite the sweat gathering beneath her cap.

The moment she reached the womb, a violent pressure struck her fingers.

Thump!

She jerked back and gasped.

Something inside had kicked directly against her hand.

The monitor beside them distorted.

Bzzzt!

For a brief moment, a black symbol appeared across the screen before vanishing beneath static.

Miranda swallowed.

‘That child…’

The baby wasn’t merely alive; it was fighting!

“Open the uterus.”

The assistant obeyed.

More golden blood drained into the cavity, mixed with thick black fluid that crawled across their gloves like oil and still Miranda reached inside without fear, determined. Her fingertips brushed the child’s head.

At that exact moment, Kumiko’s heart rate collapsed.
