Blood Awakening: The Strongest Hybrid and His Vampire Bride

Chapter 702: The Wives Make a Decision

Nikolai stared down at the sly Nikita who continued to gently nibble on his throat, her tongue slowly drawing circles along his Adam’s apple. The hot, slimy sensation sent tingles of heat and lust down his spine, despite the children being only a room away.

He wanted to tear off her clothes...

But held back.

”Nikita! The kids are there!”

”Hmmmph~” She fluttered her long lashes with a smirk. In response, she curled her tongue and flicked it against his neck before chewing on him with her fangs. Her sweet scent lingered on his body even after he pulled away.

”Come on~ don’t be so irritating, they won’t notice a little kiss.”

The subtle cool breeze fell on his wet neck.

”Ahem, Nikita. Can you please stop while we are watching?” Selene cleared her throat, glancing at the pair with her crimson eyes. There was a clear thorn in her words, and yet the snowy werewolf only clung tighter.

”Don’t be so pretentious, if you want to bite, come bite!”

She grabbed his face with both hands before tilting his head to the side, revealing the muscular, tanned flesh of his neck. ”Selene, don’t act like we didn’t talk about things before he came here... Kumi, Rika, Anya, Amphi, Leo, all of us agreed!”

”...But...”

The vampire princess glanced across the room to Madoka, then back to Nikita, who held Nikolai, her face buried in his neck as she licked and sucked all she liked.

As for Nikolai, he chose to let this happen because it felt amazing. The tingle which shot through his brain, increasing his breathing and heart rate each time she bit his neck, the more her fangs sank in, the more focused he found himself.

’I have the worst habit of not speaking to my wives...’

They’d talk and spend time together, but he would miss important cues or fail to listen to the subtle meaning in their words.

He always took matters into his own hands to stop them from suffering any setback.

But this wasn’t fair to them.

If they didn’t get the chance to grow and show their changes and true feelings, their relationship would become superficial and one-sided.

’I’ve been a bit of a prick.’

Nikita’s hot breath blew against his neck as she opened wide and sucked on him with her plump lips. The wet heat was rather arousing, and until he heard Selene mention the kids, Nikolai was inches from stripping her naked and teaching her a lesson.

However, the moment that thought crossed his mind, Nikita’s sharp yellow eyes curved slightly.

As though she sensed it.

”Fufufu~ your scent changed a little. Honey, are you horny?”

”...Nikita.”

”Mhm, I was right... This big thing keeps pressing against my tummy.”

She licked the corner of her lips, her white tail swaying behind her with increasing excitement. The moment Nikolai tried to hide his arousal, Nikita noticed and grabbed on, refusing to let go.

Her hand slipped between them, wrapping around him, and shifting with subtle strokes.

”See, Selene, our husband is quite simple in reality... Ah, this throbbing so much, are you turned on by this, Honey?”

A thin bit of cloth was all that remained between her hand and his manhood.

Selene’s crimson gaze sharpened.

”Nikita.”

”What? Am I wrong?”

The snowy werewolf finally pulled away from Nikolai’s neck, leaving several wet marks across his tanned skin. Her lips glistened faintly as she leaned against his chest with a smug smile.

”He likes it when I tease him.”

”That is not the issue,” Selene replied coldly.

Madoka, who had remained silent until now, sat on the edge of the carpet with Viktoria’s wooden sword resting across her lap. Each time Nikita provoked Selene or touched Nikolai’s body, her ears flicked several times as she glanced towards the doorway, leading to the room where the others were sitting.

”The issue is that the little ones have better hearing than humans.”

”...Ah.” Nikita froze for a moment, still sitting on Nikolai’s lap, her buttocks pressing firmly on the erect length.

’She’s doing this on purpose...!’

He couldn’t help but enjoy the sensation, but also felt a sense of embarrassment with Selene watching them.

Nikolai sighed deeply, ”What a boring ending, am I, right, honey?”

”Calm down, there’s no need to do this kind of thing.”

Her eyes opened wider as she smirked at him. ”Heeeeeh~” Then she grabbed his pants, bundling the swollen length in her hand, making it fully visible as she called out to Selene with a merciless grin. ”Hey, look how hot it got, Selene~ aren’t you jealous?”

Selene gave her a look that carried both exhaustion and disbelief.

Nikita clicked her tongue, then gently tugged Nikolai’s collar back into place, pretending she hadn’t been the one to make it messy in the first place.

”Fine. I’ll behave.”

”Ahem, good... then come sit here away from Darling.” Selene’s eyes lingered between his thighs, the tight-fitting pants outlining every curve, bump or vein along his shaft.

Nikolai rubbed his brow.

For some reason, this room had become more dangerous than the battlefield outside.

He struggled to regulate his breathing and control the instinct to get revenge on Nikita as her little butt swayed inches from his face.

’No, I can’t do that here.’

That’s when he paused, realising something different.

The nerves and feeling of dread towards what would come next had almost completely vanished, and now all he thought about was his wives and their delicious bodies.

It wasn’t the perfect solution, but his stress did decrease.

He glanced toward the playroom, where the soft sounds of wooden blocks falling and Viktoria’s tiny commanding voice could be heard.

”Leonid, put the tower there! We need to stop the dragon.”

”That side is bad, it’s already fallen twice...” Leonid answered back with a slightly whiny voice, but he didn’t give in to his sister.

”No, it isn’t, listen to me, Leo!”

”Hmph, it fell three times. I won’t let our castle fall!”

For some reason, the children’s game felt awfully serious as the two discussed casualties and losses like a pair of military commanders.

’My kids... what have they been teaching you?!’

”We lost because the dragon moved!”

”I did not,” Madoka called out flatly.

Viktoria’s voice answered immediately.

”The old Dragon should stay quiet!”

”W-What!?”

In the main room, the previously serious and raunchy atmosphere vanished at the sound of their children playing.

Nikita sat beside Selene, almost parking her plump rear on her thigh as she slammed the vampire with her butt. ”Move over.”

”Tsk! Get your fat ass away from me, wolf!”

The two bickered for a few minutes before they suddenly joined hands and turned their gaze to Nikolai, both of them emitting a different aura.

It felt heavy and serious.

”Honey.”

”Darling...”

”What?”

”We will be joining you when you go to fight.”

”I want to fight beside you like in the past, please don’t push me away.”

Selene first, then Nikita.

They both spoke with the most earnest and serious expressions.

He didn’t answer immediately, first feeling his breath hasten, the beat of his heart also growing more erratic. His thoughts immediately turned to the what-ifs; instead of remaining calm, he became a little erratic.

His shoulders stiffened before he realised it.

The gentle warmth in the room vanished from his mind, replaced by flashes of torn bodies, broken walls and Alaric’s twisted corpse crashing through the estate. He imagined Selene pierced by silver rounds. Nikita surrounded by enemies. Their children crying in the inner wing while he failed to return.

But then he shook his head.

”No.”

He couldn’t let himself be ruled by these phantom thoughts.

Nikita was powerful, a woman who fought long before he did; her skills allowed her to keep up with him in direct combat. If he can go, she can... not to mention there was no chance her mother would allow those things to happen.

’I was being too restrictive, not just on my wives, but myself.’

His gaze rose, meeting the two women who stared at him with anxious eyes.

At first, they must’ve thought his no was rejecting their request as Nikita’s ears drooped lower, and Selene frowned with her brows raised. Nikita’s tail no longer swayed playfully, and Selene’s fingers remained interlocked with hers, their previous bickering gone as if it never existed.

They weren’t asking to follow him because of jealousy.

They weren’t trying to prove themselves.

They were telling him they wanted to stand beside him.

It reminded him of how Sarah revealed her true feelings... and how he’d been oblivious for almost two years.

The same way they always had.

”...Sorry.”

Nikolai exhaled slowly, relaxing his shoulders.

”I almost refused before thinking.”

Nikita’s ears twitched.

”Almost?”

”Almost.”

Selene narrowed her eyes slightly.

”You looked ready to lock us in this room.”

”I thought about it.”

”Nikolai.”

”I’m being honest.”

Nikita clicked her tongue, though the frown around her mouth eased into a smile.

”At least you admitted it.”

Nikolai looked toward the playroom.

Leonid and Viktoria were still arguing over the block castle, but both of them kept stealing glances at the adults. Even if they didn’t understand everything, they sensed the change in atmosphere.

He lowered his voice.

”I don’t want either of you hurt.”

Selene’s expression softened.

”We know.”

”But that can’t be the only thing I consider.”

”Your strength, roles and abilities... whether your presence gives us a better chance of success and...” He paused, then added, ”And whether you want to come.”

”Oh, that’s a good answer for you.” Nikita purred, her eyes narrowed into thin slits as she giggled to herself.

Selene didn’t answer, but she nodded with a smile.

’I passed?’

Nikita kept holding Selene’s hand as the pair of women both watched him with slightly strange eyes...

”Now that it’s been decided, shouldn’t we seal the deal?” Nikita said while stirring up trouble.

”Oh, I also think so, but what did you have in mind?” However, this time, Selene didn’t complain or try to make an excuse to stop her. She joined her directly as the two rose from the sofa and slowly approached him with eerie smiles.

”Ladies?”

Nikolai could only await his fate.

Because his wives had made a decision.
