Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1284: Space Turbulence

True Elements Society:

The following day,

Head Howard was at his office. Nobody knew about his return. He had kept it a secret. He didnʼt want Magic Lord Callen to know.

Besides, he had given a task to former council elder Milo. He had yet to receive any reports from him. If the Perry Family decided to move, he would take action then.

Then he thought about Vincent Carey. He recalled that he had promised that young man to give him the Gravity Magic Resources.

He wanted to meet him. But because of the current circumstances, he had decided to wait. He knew that he and the True Elements Society owed this young man.

The Mage Union had believed their True Elements Society would take care of this kid. But he had been facing dangers here.

If it were a threat from other forces, it could have been handled. Like the Anderson Family; the Anderson Family issue was resolved at the table.

But Vincent Carey was facing a threat from within. It was not supposed to happen. It was his and the organizationʼs responsibility to protect that kid like any other member.

Instead, that kid had faced attacks twice inside the Organization. It was something that could not be overlooked. Thatʼs why he had made Milo a slave.

The fate of the two Perry Family Wizards wouldnʼt end well. Just because he was the Magic Lordʼs son, he wouldnʼt let him go. He still had use for them. Thatʼs why he had imprisoned them.

Once everything was over, he had decided to meet and explain everything to Vincent Carey. He had learned from Phylia that Elder Paul Lin and Elder Stella had dealt with this matter poorly.

Instead of taking measures, they had asked that kid to sit back and told him not to go outside. Considering the current situation, it might have looked like a good plan. But if that kid felt unsafe here, then their plans and efforts would backfire.

You cannot protect someone by confining them. He knew that the kid was inside the Special Mage Department. It was the same as confining him in one place. Soon, he wanted to solve this mess.

So that kid could feel safe here.

...

From MCʼs Perspective:

Iʼm watching the control mirror in a daze. I couldnʼt sleep last night. I was worried that the red crow would make a comeback. But fortunately, that weird bird didnʼt return.

But I made a firm decision yesterday. If not with the True Elements Society, I have a wider stage to explore. There is no need for me to be confined here. I donʼt care whether the True Elements Society or the Perry Family suffers.

Since I made the decision to leave, there is no point in delaying. After convincing myself, I wore the uniform.

Shortly afterward,

Swoosh!

I appeared back in the room. Looking at the empty room, I felt a chill down my back. The scene of the void opening appeared clear in my mind.

After recalling that scene, I didnʼt dare to stay here for a minute. I left the room and started walking towards the exit.

Meanwhile,

The Magical Creature was not idle. It had received orders from the owner last night. The owner wanted to search the place time and time again. The owner didnʼt want the bird to be idle.

Right now, the red crow was hiding in the void. It was inside one of the classrooms watching the students. From the students, the red crow was able to learn it was Vincent Careyʼs classroom.

So it stayed there, waiting for the target to appear.

Just as the red crow was observing everyone, it saw two more people entering the class. They seemed to be discussing something seriously. Their topic of conversation was Vincent Carey.

”Hey, what happened to that loner?”

”He seems to be in a hurry.”

”I heard he is basically staying here.”

”What, free loader?”

”He must have gone outside to catch a breath.”

The red crowʼs intelligent eyes flickered. It immediately opened the void and disappeared into it. The red crow never expected the target to appear this time.

And the target seemed to be going somewhere. So the red crow immediately left the place to capture the target.

Swoosh!

The next second, a small void appeared at the entrance. But there were no signs of Vincent Carey. It immediately opened another void to enter.

Swoosh!

When the void appeared again, it was inside the Teleportation Platform. The red crow saw the target stepping inside the Teleportation Platform.

It moved in the void to capture the target.

[Ding! Warning!]

[Hostile creature appears again.]

The system warning sounded in my mind. At the same time, I felt terror. A huge sense of crisis was coming towards me.

Swoosh!

The Teleportation platform was activated. At the same time, I entered the Gregor Mansion with a thought.

When the target disappeared from the spot, the red crow was still confident of capturing the target with void magic.

But the red crow came across emptiness. The target was gone—probably teleported to another location. The red crowʼs human intellect eyes flickered. It was the very first time it had failed to capture someone in the void.

Swoosh!

The red crow snapped back to reality. It opened the void to enter the Main City. The small void appeared, and it disappeared into it.

Meanwhile, inside the Gregor Mansion.

”Pfff,” I coughed up blood.

I felt something touch my chest. The next second, I looked at my chest and found a single claw mark cut in the cloth.

It left behind a red line like a wound.

”Iʼm lucky to be alive,” I said to myself. The terror brought by that weird creature was not ordinary.

To think that a magical creature was hiding in the organization made my back go cold. I made the right decision to leave this organization.

You canʼt expect help from Supreme Wizard Phylia and Head Howard. Head Howard was not here. Supreme Wizard Phylia couldnʼt babysit me.

Things were going beyond my control. The only possible solution was to escape.

[Ding! Host entered the space turbulence. It will take time for you to land in a safe location.]

[The Gregor Mansion is protecting the host.]

[If the host leaves, he will be killed by space cracks.]

The continuous system warnings came to mind. Hearing that, fear gripped my heart.

”What?” My eyes widened in disbelief.

I just escaped from one terror. Why was there another one?

With a thought, I summoned the status panel.

[Title: Lord of the Gregor Mansion.]

[Storage Space Items: A Map, Star Inheritance Preliminary Token, Silver Storage Bracelet, Sword, Dagger, Ancient Map, The Gregor Mansion, Magic Artifact, Herbs, Potions, Mana Stones, and Spell Books...etc.]

The status panel appeared in front of my eyes. When my gaze fell on the status, I knew the existence of my injuries. Fortunately, it was not a magic attack. It was a simple claw attack.

Otherwise, my body would have been shredded into pieces. For a second, I felt lucky to be trapped in space. The space turbulence was carrying the Gregor Mansion. The Mansion itself was a Space Artifact. Most importantly, the system was mysterious.

It must have some kind of emergency function to save the host. Thinking about it, I felt at ease. If I hadnʼt used the Gregor Mansion to escape, then I would have entered the main city.

Then it would have been impossible to escape from the Magical Creature. Whatʼs more terrifying about it? Itʼs that weird bird can travel through the void. I know itʼs related to space magic as well.

Personally, having the Space Magic Artifact like the Gregor Mansion, I knew the terror of space magic. I didnʼt expect someone or something to have similar magic.

I think even Elder Paul Lin and Stella are incapable of using void magic like this. They can subtly use their rule power to travel faster. But void travel is something else.

I donʼt know who is behind that magical creature? Shaking my head, I drank a healing potion before lying on the floor.
