Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1276: Trump card (Magic scroll)

From MCʼs Perspective:

Iʼm still waiting for the Supreme Wizard to return. But there has been no sign of her so far. It would be rude for me to leave without telling her.

Underground prison,

Like a thunderclap striking their brains, Elder Stella and Paul Lin realize their mistake. They have created a gap of distrust between the organization and Vincent Carey.

This is something not easy to resolve.

Swoosh!

Just as they were silent, a few shadowy figures appeared. They are guardians. They have carried Aaron Perry and Milo with them.

Both of their mana cores were sealed. They canʼt use their magic anymore unless their seals are lifted.

”So these traitors have come as well,” Phylia said in a cold tone. She hated the backstabbing, especially if it was committed by the higher-ups of the organization.

Council Elders are people who have powers next to the Head of the organization. To think two among them have betrayed. She wants to kill them on the spot.

Aaron Perry and Milo were unconscious.

Phylia told the guardians to lock them up in the adjacent cells. Soon, they were handcuffed with special metallic chains.

Shortly afterwards,

Elder Ross arrived as well. He immediately greeted the old lady upon seeing her. Today was a dream for him. He hadnʼt thought a legendary figure would end her retreat.

Thanks to her, they were able to capture the traitors.

Phylia looked at Stella and the others before saying, ”Donʼt tell anyone about this matter. Everything will be settled once Head Howard returns.”

”Until then, even the Perry Family shouldnʼt know about this. Otherwise, it would be difficult for us to stop the Magic Lord,” she added.

Stella and Paul Lin nodded their heads.

”Good, letʼs leave. Iʼm going to seal the place,” Phylia said before leaving with the others. When they came outside the well,

Old lady Phylia activated the restriction. If anyone goes down there, their bodies will be shredded into pieces.

Swoosh!

Then everyone returned from the forbidden area.

Shortly afterwards,

Old lady Phylia brought everyone to her garden.

Swoosh!

On the other hand, Iʼm feeling bored. The next second, I saw several people appearing in the garden.

”Elder Phylia,” I called out.

”Kid, the three people were captured,” after saying that, she started to explain.

Stellaʼs eyes flashed with guilt. She was hasty in her decision. If the relationship between the organization and Vincent Carey is irreparable in the future, then she could be one of the reasons.

Paul Linʼs eyes flashed with a complex glint. The fear of the Magic Lord muddled their minds. He can only apologize to Vincent.

About 20 minutes later,

My back relaxed. A huge weight lifted off my shoulders. The constant death sword hanging over my head was gone.

”The threat is gone for now. But what about the Perry Family?” I said in my heart. But it would be rude to ask her.

”Thank you, elder. Iʼm relieved,” I answered her.

”Vincent, we apologize. We were really helpless when it came to the threat of the Magic Lord. So we made a rash decision,” Stella admitted her mistake.

If something bad happened to Vincent, then no one could tell what would happen to them.

”Vincent, I apologize as well. I overlooked your safety. We thought you were safe inside the campus, but their actions caught us off guard,” Paul Lin said.

Hearing their apologies, I didnʼt know what to say. Because I had never fully told the truth. So I immediately replied, ”Itʼs okay, elders, you donʼt have to feel sorry for me.”

Then my eyes fell on another old man.

”Hello, young man. Iʼm Council Elder Ross. Iʼm from the Rule and Order Department,” old man Ross said with a smile.

Hearing that made me twitch. He was someone who was supposed to take action. Itʼs not the job of the Intelligence Tower and the Special Mage Department.

”Since the apologies have been made, take this magic scroll. It has a spell attack of mine. No average level-10 can survive the attack.”

”Let alone a level-9 Wizard,” old lady Phylia took out a white magic scroll before giving it to me.

My heart was in turmoil. I was worried about not having safety items. But with this, I could have a trump card to use.

I accepted the white magic scroll and put it inside my storage bracelet.

Elder Stella and Paul Lin didnʼt say anything. Itʼs rare for a Supreme Wizard to do this. Now they understand the importance of Vincent Carey to the organization.

Old man Ross was shocked. He had decided to warn others in the department not to offend this young man.

He didnʼt want to get slapped by Supreme Wizard Phylia.

”Okay, you guys can go now!”

”I believe Head Howard will return soon,” old lady Phylia said.

”Vincent, come with me,” Paul Lin said.

Hearing that, I stood up and thanked her before leaving with Elder Paul Lin. Elder Stella and Ross left the place next.

Old lady Phylia stayed in her seat before looking into the stars in the sky. She seemed to think of something important before sending out an emergency signal.

She tore a number of magic scrolls. These emergency messenger scrolls were made in pairs. If one of them was gone, the second would burn automatically as well.

Because of her actions, the Magic Lords in distant lands found their magic scrolls burned. They are all connected to the True Elements Society.

Many of them walked their own way to establish their wizard schools all over the world. Now, seeing the magic scrolls burned, they immediately thought of the True Elements Society in the Ancient Redwood Country.

Soon, they made arrangements before leaving their wizard schools and organizations. If the Aristocratic Families back in the True Elements Society learned of this, they would be shocked to the core.

For them, having one Magic Lord in their Wizard Families was a huge deal. But the True Elements Society had many Magic Lords who had come out from that place.
