Genetic Ascension

Chapter 1867: Calculated Index (2)

Fanelei held a hand to her chest. What happened? How had Sylas done that with a simple punch? What was going on?

She was so distracted by the how that she didnʼt have time to consider how the hell it was so high.

If Sylas was still in the E-tier, then it wouldnʼt be impressive at all. But in the F-tier?

An Index of 295,050 was off the charts. It was already enough to be in the top 1% of the Weaver Guild... Not of the current F-tiers...

Of all the F-tiers of the Weaver Guild in its entire history.

How had he done that with a punch? Where were the Runes, where was...

Faneleiʼs eyes widened. ”... It... it canʼt be...”

Sylas nodded to himself. ʼIt works about as expected...ʼ

It was a bit difficult with all the restrictions on him right now, so the number wasnʼt all that good. Plus, it was the first time he had ever done something like that.

Because he was in the E-tier now, he couldnʼt easily access his F-tier Genes. So, he had had to absorb E-tier Genes just now to make it work. But those Genes were, obviously, heavily restrained.

The reason Fanelei was losing her mind now wasnʼt just because Sylas had formed those Genes with such ease, it was because she realized why the formation had registered a simple telekinesis-enhanced punch... The short of it was that it wasnʼt a simple telekinesis-enhanced punch...

The long of it was that Sylas had used his telekinesis not on his muscle, not on his bone... But directly on his Genes.

Controlling his body at such a granular level was unheard of. At least it was certainly unheard of in the Mortal Realm.

There were Telekinetic Martial Artists here... they were few and far between, so rare it was on the order of parts per million even if said million only counted the best of geniuses.

Considering the scope and size of the universe, this was still a decent number. But even so, the number that could do what Sylas could in the Mortal Realm...?

Zero.

No. The number was now one.

Sylas alone.

Telekinetic Martial Artists were so rare in the Mortal Realm that their ranking system had never even been properly documented here. But if those Guilds of the Demi-God World heard of Sylas... They might scramble to recruit him far more than Fanelei ever had.

Fanelei coughed, spitting as she tried to regain her composure.

She had reacted so fiercely not only because it was such a ridiculous feat of talent, but because every time Sylas did something like this, the odds of her freedom returning to her seemed to slip further and further away.

She was stuck in a vice grip when Sylas was at his weakest, and now it only seemed to be bearing down with greater strength as he began to grow.

She genuinely... couldnʼt see a future where she ever beat Sylas.

He was too far beyond her.

She couldnʼt see a future where he lost to anyone.

Sylas, however, wasnʼt thinking about Fanelei at all. He was thinking that he needed to figure out how Legendary Physical Genes worked quickly because he was pretty sure that that was the truest level of control over the body.

Unfortunately, he didnʼt have the time to meditate on it right this moment. However... he still had more to give.

That was just a casual test. He could get better at it, but seeing how far Telekinetic Martial Arts could take him was just the first thing he wanted to test.

This alone had opened many doors to him. Namely, if he could control his Genes so directly, what would happen if he also controlled a Gene formed from his Rune Armor more directly as well? How much more powerful could he make the Scorpion Warlord Armor? The Monkey King Armor?

That would see the light of day once he touched the Emperor Sanctum, but none of this tested the purest power of Infinite Void Mastery. At best, it tested an auxiliary function.

Sylas raised a finger toward the target.

A single Rune formed. It was only formed of nine Strokes and three Foundations. A simple Spatial Rune used to bend light in a given area, distorting sight as though one was viewing an image through water.

The difference was, though, that while it functioned as an illusion, technically, it really was bending space around it in much the same way a black hole would be capable of bending light.

Even the simplest of Spatial and Time Runes, when expanded onto the largest scales, were utterly broken.

But then this Rune shrank.

And then it shrank again.

And then it shrank once more until it was barely a dot hovering in the air.

It was compressed so far that even Fanelei could only just barely make out the individual Strokes anymore, and that was with the condition of her Runeweaver Eyes being active.

The Rune slowly floated forward, following a peculiar curved path before it landed on the target.

The two touched, and it felt like they sank into one another, almost like they were so in tune with the world that they were melting into each other.

The fusion almost felt soft and caring, like Sylas had forgotten the purpose of all of this and had only come to make peace and not attack.

But then...

The illusory target crumbled from the inside out, twisting so thoroughly that the original glass shards didnʼt appear. Instead, an entirely new target had to be formed.

In the observation box, Fanelei fell back on her ass, her face entirely drained of blood. She was gasping for breath as though trying to find the air to breathe. And yet, even with her strength, and the hurricane-force winds she was kicking up in the attempt, none of it worked. None of it worked even in the slightest bit to help her calm down.

ʼM... m... mon... God. Heʼs a God.ʼ

[Calculated Index: 3,005,050]

How could an F-tier generate that much power with a casual flick of a finger?
