Chapter 559: Pleasure

Vines slashed like whips through the air, lashing out at Sylas from all sides. However, the moment they rushed toward him, they found themselves coated in frost.

Ice heeded Sylasʼ call, and his evolved Slow Ice-Poison Runes pierced into their bodies. A frosty energy rushed out from him in all directions as he took advantage of the small area of effect abilities of to influence the environment.

Creating a road of ice to surf upon required accumulating this frostiness from the

surroundings. And since that was the case, why wouldnʼt he embed these vines into the very road he needed to surf?

CHI! CHI! CHI!

The vines became trapped in Sylasʼ wave of ice, and in what felt like a blink, Sylas had already reached the dome of vines above him.

A thin sheen of ice had already covered it.

Sylasʼ gaze flashed and a frosty breath left his body as small shards of ice covered him. He was pouring as much Ice Aether into his body as he could to offset the heat. But he knew that it was only a temporary measure.

His body was being stressed beyond its limits. If not for his State of Wealth and Dual Class Constitution, his heart would have already given out.

But he needed this victory.

BANG!

Sylas felt a ripping pain in his shoulder as he cast once again. But this time, he made use of his Beast Totem.

The world seemed to pause for a moment before a hole was torn through the canopy.

Sylas burst to the skies above, falling away from a curve of ice that rose dozens of meters into the air.

”Nosphaleen! Come!”

His voice clapped like thunder, and in that same moment, the poison fog that covered the Dynamic Field Dungeon was forcefully constrained by him.

With an inhale, his Will surged, and the poison was pulled toward him, condensing and solidifying into a new Rune.

The scorpion tail on Sylasʼ back became more solid as he suddenly pivoted into the air, spinning with a tightening of his torso that sent his tail slashing out at an oncoming vine. BANG! SHIIIIII! CHING!

Scorpion tail and vine met. The latter was woven from three others intertwining with one another and forming a piercing lance. Comparatively speaking, Sylasʼ scorpion tail was like a needle facing off against a heavy blade. And yet...

It tore right through.

Nosphaleen surged over from the distance, using .

The moment Sylas realized that he had already cleared the Dungeon, he understood that he had truly returned to the Woodland Territory now.

The only thing stopping Nosphaleen from coming with him was the poison in the air. But now that his control over poison was so absolute... between his Warlord Title and his Will, he could forcefully make this region habitable.

Sylas was knocked further into the air by the force of the woven vine. Taking advantage of the moment, he deactivated and circulated .

His Quasi Rune Spark took advantage of the higher concentration of Ice Aether and Runes in the air, lowering the requirements to use the skill.

He performed a double jump, leaping even higher in the air.

From high above, he could see everything, and for a moment, it hit him just how fantastical his abilities were now.

A surge of an unknown emotion came from his heart... at the very least, it was unknown for a short while until it clicked for him...

Pleasure.

He loved this.

Sometimes, there didnʼt need to be a complicated reason to explain things. He didnʼt need to know exactly why he loved Cassarae; he just did. He didnʼt need to know the exact reason he loved to battle; he just did. He didnʼt need to know the exact reason he adored a challenge... He just did.

BANG!

Sylas felt a powerful feeling rip through his body as the suppression from Bloomʼs Warrant was torn to shreds. His control over his body reached an unprecedented height, and his stats more than doubled across the board.

SHIIIIING!

A bright burst came from Sylasʼ eyes as he activated Winterʼs Edge.

Winterʼs Edge and his Poison Spark Will combined into one, forming a rain of blue-violet

blades that shot out in all directions.

The poison of the Violet Rose Heart turned against it beneath Sylasʼ power, and his telekinesis surged, displaying almost 2000 Physical under the influence of Gold Mastery Madness.

The Violet Rose Heart unleashed a howl. It was truly enraged, and the result was a rumbling that came from deep within the ground.

With a burst, nine pillars of thorny vines erupted out from the earth, locking down the region.
