Chapter 2810: Chapter 2810: Transfer The Ancient Tree Into Sere

Its high branches swayed softly in the light. “Yes… They are indeed my flesh and blood. I recognised them the instant they drew near. Our spiritual origin and bloodline auras are completely identical.”

“You mentioned that your spiritual energy is being continuously drained?” Yu Qi asked, her eyes narrowing.

“Yes. I am well aware… At this pace, I am destined to vanish entirely from this world very soon. I have been bound and imprisoned here for far too long.” The tree’s voice grew noticeably fainter. It paused before offering a quiet sigh. “I forcibly broke through the suppression formation just now purely because I longed to sense my children one last time. I am already deeply content that I was granted the chance to see them before the end.”

Yu Qi’s expression shifted slightly upon hearing those sombre words. “One last time?”

“Yes. My core spiritual vitality has been severely depleted. I do not possess the strength to survive much longer.” The tree replied sorrowfully. Suddenly, the tree’s tone turned anxious as it urged them, “You must leave this place immediately! The overseers of this facility have undoubtedly detected that the main formation door has been unsealed. If you remain here any longer, you may become trapped as well!”

Just as Neko-chan had mentioned earlier, the system administrators were continuously monitoring the status of that door. They would certainly react the moment its breach was registered.

“Brother Hui!” Yu Qi turned to look at Long Hui with resolute eyes.

Long Hui gave a firm, understanding nod, instantly reading her intentions.

“If you wish to escape this place, we can take you out right now.” Yu Qi said, looking up at the ancient tree with absolute seriousness. “Do you trust us?”

“What? Truly?” The tree sounded profoundly shocked. “You possess the means to move my massive form?”

“Not only can we safely remove you from this facility, but we can also eventually return you to your true home.” Yu Qi declared firmly.

The tree’s broad branches trembled violently in emotional upheaval. “Yes! Please, I beg of you, take me away from here! I want to go home!”

“I will transfer you to a safe location first.” Yu Qi instructed.

“Understood! I trust you implicitly!” The tree responded without a single shred of hesitation.

“Great.” Yu Qi stated.

Yu Qi stepped forward, reaching out her hand to lightly rest her palm against the cold, weathered bark of the trunk. The moment her hand made contact, she closed her eyes and focused her immense mental force.

In the very next instant, the colossal tree vanished without a trace, leaving behind an empty central floor. It had been seamlessly transported directly into the Sere.

Inside the spatial realm of the Sere, the ancient tree immediately felt the insanely dense, pure spiritual energy saturating the surrounding atmosphere. Its entire trunk quivered in sheer disbelief as it took in the breathtakingly beautiful, unfamiliar landscape.

“This… this is an independent domain…” The tree gasped out in awe.

“Mhm… This is my personal space, the Sere.” Yu Qi’s voice echoed gently through their mental connection. “You can rest and recover your vitality here for now. Once everything is resolved, I promise I will return you to your original home.”

“Thank you… Thank you from the bottom of my heart…” The tree repeated endlessly, its voice overflowing with overwhelming gratitude.

“Oh, and I will send Xiaohua and Xiaoliu inside to join you shortly so you can speak with your children.” Yu Qi added with a warm smile.

“Really?!” The tree’s voice instantly regained a noticeable surge of energy and brightness.

“Of course.” Yu Qi smiled gently.

Withdrawing her consciousness from the Sere, Yu Qi returned her focus to the physical room.

“Xiaohua, Xiaoliu, you two can enter the Sere now to reunite and speak with your mother.” Yu Qi informed them softly.

“Okay!” Xiaohua nodded eagerly, her eyes bright with anticipation.

Xiaoliu nodded as well, stepping closely beside his sister.

Yu Qi activated her spatial connection and smoothly transferred both children into the Sere.

The moment they disappeared, the previously tense, emotional atmosphere in the room settled into a quiet hush.

Yu Qi glanced down at the empty space where the children had just been standing, a subtle smile touching her lips as she envisioned the heartwarming reunion taking place inside her spatial domain. However, a lingering sense of foreboding still weighed heavily on her mind. She turned her gaze toward the back of the spacious chamber, her eyes locking onto the second massive door built into the far wall.

If that ancient tree had been imprisoned here for so long, its pure spiritual energy harvested and drained continuously, there had to be a primary reason why MicroTech went through such extraordinary lengths to keep it alive. And whatever was consuming that stolen power was almost certainly hidden right behind that second door.

Yu Qi and Long Hui suddenly heard a flurry of hurried footsteps echoing down the corridor, heading directly toward the chamber they were in. Without needing to exchange a single word, the two immediately fell silent and stood motionless.

A moment later, a large group of people rushed frantically into the room. One of them immediately hit the wall switch, illuminating the space with harsh overhead lights.

“Where is the tree?!” Someone yelled in utter shock, staring at the empty floor.

“Professor Shen, should we call the technicians right away to review the surveillance footage?” Another researcher asked anxiously.

“Call them here at once! Hurry!” The man roared in a fury.

Yu Qi and Long Hui fixed their eyes on the man shouting orders. It was Professor Shen, the very individual the researchers had mentioned earlier.
