Chapter 2327: Lunch With Fu Family

”Mummy... Mummy... Who is this beautiful sister?” The girl pecked at Yu Qi.

”Lanying, this is Tang Yu Qi. You may call her Sister Yu Qi.” Lu Qina introduced Yu Qi to her child.

Fu Lanying asked her mother to put her down. She slightly bowed to Yu Qi while introducing herself to Yu Qi.

”Hello, Sister Yu Qi. I am Fu Lanying. I am 3 years old.” Fu Lanying spoke clearly.

Yu Qi smiled as she watched the little girl introduce herself like an adult.

”Hello, Lanying. Nice to meet you.” Yu Qi smiled. She turned to Lu Qina. ”She is only 3 years old, but she already has this kind of manner. How impressive.”

”Well, our Lanying here likes to watch ancient Chinese dramas. She mostly learned from those dramas. Especially the ones in the palace.” Lu Qina chuckled.

”We talked for a long time. Come on, Yu Qi. Sit down.” Fu Shi Zian reminded the women.

”Yeah... Yeah...” Lu Qina forgot that they were supposed to have lunch together.

Fu Shi Zian immediately called the waiter to take the order.

”By the way, you have not told me why your friend suddenly could not make it.” Fu Shi Zian asked about that.

”Something terrible happened earlier. When I went down to fetch her, a man rushed to grab her daughter and threatened to hurt her.” Lu Qina told her husband what had happened earlier.

”What? Really? Are she and her daughter okay? Do you call the police?” Fu Shi Zian asked in concern.

”Yes. The police arrived, but they still could not do anything. They were afraid that you would upset the culprit, and he might try to injure the girl.” Lu Qina sighed.

”Then, what happened?” Fu Shi Zian wanted to know.

”Here is where Yu Qi appeared and knocked some sense into the man. She came, kicked the man and grabbed the girl safely. She gave the girl back to my friend.” Lu Qina said. ”My friend told me that she and her family would not be coming to the lunch. She needs to go to the hospital since her daughter is slightly injured. They would also be going to the police station to make some reports about this incident. She definitely will be suing that man. That is so sure. She asked me to thank Yu Qi without knowing that Yu Qi and I knew each other.”

”I understand her feelings. I might also sue the man if the same happened to my Lanying.” Fu Shi Zian could relate to what his wifeʼs friend was going through.

”Yes.” Lu Qina nodded. As she remembered something, she turned to Yu Qi. ”You went viral on the internet yesterday because of the Song Family. I donʼt understand much about that.”

”Oh... About that. The old couple wants to use my hand to punish my employer. Brother Yu Hi is the one who wants to sue the old couple because they tried to scheme his fiancée. They wanted me to stop Brother Yu Hi from suing them.” Yu Qi just chuckled.

”What a lunatic couple.” Lu Qina scoffed.

”Well... I think it is more than that.” Yu Qi sighed.

”So, you basically feel that their aim is something else.” Fu Shi Zian narrowed his eyes.

Fu Shi Zian was also a businessman. He knew that.

”Brother Yu Hi is my pillar. The mastermind tries to attack him and mess with him since his wedding is approaching.” Yu Qi said.

”Tell him and his fiancée to be careful.” Fu Shi Zian could not interfere with others. He could only give some advice like this.

”Thank you.” Yu Qi nodded.

After that, they finished talking about that. Fu Lanying started to ask a lot of questions to Yu Qi. Yu Qi answered the questions with patience. She knew a child like Fu Lanying just had a lot on her mind.

”Then, Sister Yu Qi, do you have a prince with you?” Fu Lanying asked.

”Yes. I have a prince with me.” Yu Qi nodded.

”So, you are also going to be a princess.” Fu Lanying said excitedly. ”See, Daddy, even Sister Yu Qi has his prince. I will also have a prince when I grow up.”

”My dear, you should not think about that. You are still a little girl.” Fu Shi Zian tried to correct his daughterʼs mindset.

”Humph! Still small. I was being coveted by you when I was at the same age as my daughter.” Lu Qina scoffed.

Fu Shi Zian almost coughed. He took a breath.

”Qina, my dear, that is because I had a far vision. I had already pictured you to be married to me.” Fu Shi Zian said. ”But Lanying is different. We need to protect her.”

”Daddy, please donʼt worry. When I have my prince later, he will protect me.” Fu Lanying stated.

”Thatʼs right, Lanying. My cute daughter will have a handsome prince later.” Lu Qina rubbed her daughterʼs head.

Yu Qi felt warmth seeing this family. She wondered if it would be the same for her.

”Sister Yu Qi, do you have a picture of your prince? I want to see him.” Fu Lanying asked.

”I do. Wait a minute.” Yu Qi took out her phone.

The picture on her lock screen was a picture of Long Hui in his military uniform.

”Look. Here is my prince.” Yu Qi showed the picture of Long Hui to Fu Lanying.
