Chapter 2141: Chapter 2141: Advice Grandpa Mu To Be Alert Of His People

”Grandpa, he indeed wants to kill me. He tried but failed.” Yu Qi stated.

”What?” Grandpa Mu who was on the other side was shocked. ”Are you serious?”

”I am not going to say something like this just because I want to lie to you, Grandpa.” Yu Qi said.

Grandpa Mu was silent for a moment. He believed what Yu Qi had told him. Yu Qi would not lie to him about something that was this serious.

”Are you okay, Yu Qi?” Grandpa Mu asked.

”I am fine. But Mu Li Zei might probably think his plan to kill me is a success.” Yu Qi said.

”Why do you think so?” Grandpa Mu was confused.

”Because the assassin that he hired told him so.” Yu Qi said.

Grandpa Mu was silent again for a moment. He did not know what to say.

”Anyway, Grandpa, you also need to be careful on your side.” Yu Qi stated.

”Why is that?” Grandpa Mu could not understand.

”Grandpa Mu, since your son found out about me, he probably thinks you also know about me and hides the fact that you are my biological grandfather. He might after you too.” Yu Qi

stated.

”That is impossible. I am his father.” Grandpa Mu did not want to believe that the fact that his son wanted to end his life.

”Grandpa, I will be totally honest with you. The last time, I visited you, I checked your body. I found out something inside your body that could possibly kill you if you consume it in the long run.” Yu Qi said.

Indeed, the last time when she visited Grandpa Mu, she checked his body and found out that the poison that killed him in his previous life was inside his body. This meant Mu Li Zei had started to poison Grandpa Mu and wanted to make his death look like a normal death for an old man.

”What?” Grandpa Mu could not believe his ears.

”However, you donʼt need to worry because you did not skip the supplement that I gave you. A little poison could not do anything to your body since it had been well protected.” Yu Qi explained.

”What? You know from the start?” Grandpa Mu asked.

”Of course not! The supplement that I make for you has that kind of effect to protect your health from being poisoned.” Yu Qi said.

Of course, she could not admit that she knew from the start that his biological would poison him. She could not destroy their bond. However, she knew that Grandpa Mu was not a stupid old man. He was someone who built his business from scratch. She knew that Grandpa Mu would investigate this matter himself.

”So, Grandpa, remember to eat my supplement.” Yu Qi said.

”Hmm... I know. I will eat it. But...” Grandpa Mu still wanted to say some more.

”What is it, Grandpa?” Yu Qi asked.

”The medicinal wine that you gave me before... I am going to finish it. Can you send me some more?” Grandpa Mu coughed wanting to cover his embarrassment.

Yu Qi laughed. The grandpas that she knew were really the same. They really liked her medicinal wine. ”Sure... Sure... I will send the medicinal wine to you later.”

”Great.” Grandpa Mu said.

”But you better be careful about what you eat. And investigate the people around you. Since he could give the poison to you unnoticed meaning he had the help of people around you.” Yu Qi reminded Grandpa Mu.

Grandpa Muʼs expression became solid. ”Donʼt worry, Yu Qi. I will handle it.”

”Good. See you later, Grandpa.” Yu Qi said.

After the call from Grandpa Mu, Yu Qi felt a little relieved that Grandpa Mu was finally alert to the danger around him. She was sure that he would be more careful in future, especially in front of his son, Mu Li Zei.

”Oh... I forgot to ask Grandpa how he found out about the assassination. Well... I will ask when I meet him later.” Yu Qi said.

She was alone rolling around on the bed. Long Hui was on his mission. Every morning, Shino would update about Long Hui. Mostly about his well-being. She did not care to listen about his mission.

Yu Qi decided to go back to the Tang Family house the next day. She wanted some time with the cute little Bo Lin. When Long Hui was around, he would look at Tang Bo Lin like a jealous man. Tang Bo Lin was just a little boy. There was nothing to be jealous of the little boy.

”Yu Qi, you are back.” Su Xiao smiled as she greeted Yu Qi.

Before Yu Qi could respond, she saw a little boy sprinting rushing in her direction. The little boy pounded on her. She immediately caught and carried him.

”Big Sister Qi.” The little one called Yu Qi dearly.

”Bo Lin... Long time no see.” Yu Qi smiled while kissing both of Tang Bo Linʼs cheeks.

”Why are you just here now?” Tang Bo Lin asked.

Su Xiao laughed. ”This little one often asks about you. Where is Big Sister Qi? Why is she not here? He really misses you a lot.” She stated.

Yu Qi patted Tang Bo Linʼs head. ”Big Sister Qi is very busy with my work. That is why I can not come here so often. I am sorry.” She apologized to Tang Bo Lin.

”Hmm... I can see you now. I will forgive you.” Tang Bo Lin said.
