Chapter 2124: Refuse to Invest

Knowing what happened earlier, he used his power to ban those drunken men from coming back to the restaurant. Yes, this restaurant was his property. He did not expect someone would boldly harass his precious person here. They even asked the restaurant to throw the drunken men out after making them settle their bills.

As for Huang Mingxia, she also got the notice that she had been banned from coming to the restaurant. At first, she did not know why the restaurant made that decision. However, after thinking about Yu Qi and that incident, she finally understood.

Even so, she did not dare to do anything to Yu Qi. This restaurant was known to be owned by someone powerful. If the owner banned her from this restaurant Yu Qi had a special relationship with the owner himself. That was why she did not want to do anything to Yu Qi. Not to mention, Yu Qi did not do anything to her at all except threaten her about the video that she had taken at that time.

She made a decision not to be involved with Bai Corporation. She told her parent about the decision. She just told her parent that they did not click together.

Huang Couple loved their daughter so much. They took their daughterʼs feelings very seriously. So, when their daughter said something like that, they did not want to be involved in Bai Corporation as well. So, Mr Huang called Bai Xia Fang telling him that the fund that The Huang promised would not be approved.

Bai Xia Fang was displeased when he heard about this. When he asked what the reason was, Mr Huang made an excuse that they already decided to invest in someone else. Bai Xia Fang wanted to know who that person was but Mr Huang refused to tell him.

As soon as the call ended, Bai Xia Fang immediately called his son asking about the date. He knew that his son went to have dinner with Huang Mingxia, the daughter of the Huang Family.

”Where are you?” Bai Xia Fang asked as soon his call was answered by Bai Shu Jin.

”At my home.” Bai Shu Jin stated.

Bai Shu Jin did not live with his parent anymore after he graduated. His mother wanted him to move out telling him that it was good for him to be independent. However, the truth was Bai Jian did not want to see him at her house. She had seen Bai Shu Jin for such a long time here. If he had grown up, he should have moved out.

”What have you done to the Huangʼs daughter?” Bai Xia Fang asked.

”Done what?” Bai Shu Jin did not understand what Bai Xia Fang meant by that.

”Huang Family suddenly refused to invest in our company. Did you do something to Huangʼs daughter?” Bai Xia Fang asked in anger.

”I have not done anything rude to her.” Bai Shu Jin said.

”Then, why did Mr Huang call just now informing me that they would not invest in our company?” Bai Xia Fang shouted.

Bai Shu Jin did not know what to say to his father.

”Useless!” Bai Xia Fang shouted. He hung up.

Bai Xia Fang looked at his phone. He did not know what happened. When he and Huang Mingxia were having dinner, Huang Mingxia suddenly wanted to go to the toilet. Then, after that, Huang Mingxia just called him telling him that she needed to go home for some reason.

He wanted to send her home but she refused. He followed what she wanted. He did not think of anything that he did to upset her.

Bai Shu Jin did not know that Yu Qi had sabotaged his chance to get the money from the Huang Family. Because of her actions, Huang Mingxia was afraid to get involved with him.

So, Bai Shu Jin tried to call Huang Mingxia several times. The call was answered.

”Miss Huang... I heard about your fatherʼs decision not to invest in our Bai Corporation. May I know why?” Bai Shu Jin wanted to know about that.

”I donʼt know. It is my fatherʼs decision.” Huang Mingxia answered. Then she hangs up.

Bai Shu Jin tried to call again but he realized that he had been blocked by that woman.

Yu Qi and Long Hui returned to their hotel room.

”What happened?” Long Hui asked.

”Someone blocked my way and I beat them up.” Yu Qi said.

”I see...” Long Hui narrowed his eyes.

”You donʼt have to get involved. I already beat them up half dead.” Yu Qi grinned.

”So, why are you in a bad mood?” Long Hui asked.

”I was in a bad mood because of that surname Bai. Her partner recorded me beating them up. I threatened her too and asked her to delete the video.” Yu Qi said.

”Him again?” Long Hui narrowed his eyes again. ”Do you need my help with that?”

”I will ask you if I need it. For now, nope.” Yu Qi said.

”Then, why are you not asking my help about ruining his company?” Long Huiʼs voice became

sour.

”Eh? Are you jealous about that?” Yu Qi chuckled.

Long Hui did not answer it. Yu Qi smiled. She kissed his cheek.

”What?” Long Hui asked.

”I donʼt want you to work out about that. So, I ask my senior brother.” Yu Qi grinned.

”Really?” Long Hui asked again.

”Of course... My man doesnʼt need to think about that matter.” Yu Qi said in a pampering

tone.
