Chapter 908 - 908: Meeting With Chef Ye

Yu Qi went to the Ye Bai Qianʼs restaurant again. This time she was together with Grandpa Tang and Pei Xian. She told Grandpa Tang about the herbal cooking and he was excited to taste it.

As usual, even though the restaurant was in a secluded area, the restaurant was almost full. They needed to wait about 5 minutes before getting a table for them.

They quickly made the order. They ordered many kinds of food. Pei Xian also sat together with them. Before this, he was reluctant to sit with them because he thought of them as his employer.

But after spending time at Grandpa Tangʼs house, Grandpa Tang also told him to eat together. So, he began to sit together with Grandpa Tang and Hang Chu Xiao to eat together.

The food arrived after 15 minutes. They began to eat. The taste was amazing even though it was a herbal cook. Pei Xian was surprised about that.

”Delicious right?” Yu Qi asked Pei Xian after seeing his face.

”Yeah. It is.” Pei Xian nodded.

”How do you know about this restaurant?” Grandpa Tang asked.

”Well, this restaurant is one of my business partners. They have purchased the herbs from my greenhouse here.” Yu Qi told Grandpa Tang.

”I see. The chef must be talented to cook such a delicious meal.” Grandpa Tang did enjoy the meal.

”Chef Ye has worked as a nutritionist before. So, she knows her stuff.” Yu Qi nodded.

The peak hours were finally over. The customers started to leave one by one. Seeing this, Yu Qi decided to call the waitress.

”Yes, Miss. What do you want?” The waitress asked politely.

”May I know, is your Chef Ye busy right now? If she is not busy, can you call her over?” Yu Qi asked.

The waitress thought that this customer probably knew Ye Bai Qian. So, she nodded and left for the kitchen area.

After a few minutes, Ye Bai Qian with her Chef attire came out. Grandpa Tang and Pei Xian were surprised to see her. They thought the chef was a man.

”Miss Tang, nice to meet you again.” Ye Bai Qian said.

”Yeah. How are you doing?” Yu Qi asked.

”Iʼm fine. Thank you for your help.” Ye Bai Qian said appreciating what Yu Qi was doing for her.

Actually, after cooking at Yu Qiʼs party, her restaurant started to get in trouble day by day. The customers were complaining about the food taste, a fight broke in her group, sometimes, the ingredients order messed up and the worst part, the fire broke at her restaurant, luckily she noticed about the fire quickly. Otherwise, she would lose the restaurant.

The same things happened every time. So, Su Jin and Su Fan noticed that purchase of the herbs had decreased. So, Su Jin came to ask about the matter.

Ye Bai Qian told them the incidents that happened which led her to decrease the purchasing of the herbs. Su Fan heard from his grandfather and told them that the incidents were not coincident. It was man-made since it happened multiple times especially the fire.

Someone wanted to make trouble for Ye Bai Qian. So that she could close the restaurant forever. Su Fan asked whether she offended someone before.

The only one that Ye Bai Qian could think of was Su Yu Qing. Su Yu Qing thought that she wanted to be with Mu Li Zei again. However, she did not tell Su Fan. She just said that she did not know about it.

Su Fan ended up telling Yu Qi about that. Yu Qi knew that it was Su Yu Qingʼs work since, in her past life, Su Yu Qing also made trouble to Ye Bai Qianʼs restaurant using the same method.

She only knew about that after Ye Bai Qianʼs restaurant completely closed. She knew from one of the staff that she closed the restaurant. The staff told everything about that to Yu Qi.

The staff knew about that because the last day when Ye Bai Qian already decided to close the restaurant, Su Yu Qing came and told everything that she was the one who forced Ye Bai Qian to close the restaurant.

Telling Ye Bai Qian, it was Ye Bai Qianʼs consequence for seducing her husband in front of everyone.

Because of that, Yu Qi knew that these kinds of methods were Su Yu Qingʼs idea in order to force Ye Bai Qian to close the restaurant.

Yu Qi immediately called Su Yu Qing directly. She did not want her to make trouble to Ye Bai Qian anymore. Otherwise, she could forget the treatment that she wanted for her daughter.

Su Yu Qing was angry about this but she could not do anything for the sake of her daughter. And other than that, Mu Li Zei had also confronted her. He was angry at Su Yu Qing for making trouble for Ye Bai Qian.

Mu Li Zei knew about that because Grandpa Mu told him that he should take care of his wife. Thatʼs all. He knew that his father did not tell him nonsense. So, he investigated what Su Yu Qing had done lately. It was how he knew about the matter.

Mu Li Zei came forward to apologise to Ye Bai Qian. Ye Bai Qian was a person who did not like the trouble. Since it was already the past, she intended to forget about that.

Finally, the matter settled down. After that, Ye Bai Qianʼs purchase of the herbs became stable again. The incidents did not happen anymore.
