I reported you for selling fake medicine. If I stop selling it, why are you crying?

Chapter 109: It must be himChapter 109 It Must Be Him

The Karolinska Institute is located in Switzerland and is the highest-level medical school in the country.

To a large extent, it is also the world’s top medical school.

Because the world-famous Nobel Prize in Medicine came from Caroline.

At a certain time every year, the Karolinska Institute secretly sets up a Nobel Committee to select that year’s Nobel Prize in Medicine or Physiology.

Today is the day when the Nobel Committee is established.

Almost all the top executives of the medical school gathered in a conference room for a secret meeting.

”This year’s Nobel Committee Chairman is Professor Wilson!”

In the middle of the meeting, a gray-haired old man announced the results of the meeting.

Following the old man’s announcement.

Wilson, who was in his fifties, was stunned at first, then showed a surprised expression.

He thought that he had no chance in this Nobel Committee, but he did not expect that he would be directly elected as the chairman!

He has wanted this position for a long time!

There is no one at Karolinska Medical School who doesn’t want this position!

Because this is just like seniority. If you don’t go through this position, it will be difficult to continue to climb up in the entire Caroline.

It represents fame, qualifications, and status!
Wilson has currently hit a bottleneck, and if he wants to continue to climb up, he needs an opportunity like this.

I didn’t expect things to go so smoothly.

The opportunity has come.

A total of dozens of members were elected at the conference.

To a large extent, these dozens of members are the ones who decide who will win the Nobel Prize in Medicine this year.

And the most important role among them is the Chairman of the Nobel Committee!

That’s him, Wilson!
Thinking of this, Wilson couldn’t help feeling proud when he returned home.

He walked down the street.

Sweden attaches great importance to environmental protection, so people of all positions and status basically travel by bicycle, but Wilson prefers to walk.

When he returned home today, he felt his steps were much lighter.

Suddenly, someone stopped him.

”Professor Wilson, would you like to chat together?” the man said.

Wilson looked at the person who came, his eyes narrowed slightly.

”Kumas? What do you want from me?”

Kumas was the man who had just been selected as the vice chairman of the Nobel Committee, but Wilson did not have much contact with him on a regular basis, and the two of them only knew each other.

How could he find him?
”I know there’s a really nice cafe on the left turn ahead. It’s quiet and no one will disturb you. Maybe we can talk about the committee,” Kumas said.

Wilson was about to say no.

Kumas said: ”Professor Wilson, you are the vice president of the college, don’t you want to take another step forward?”

In a word, Wilson hesitated.

Kumas’s mouth corners slowly lifted.

A few minutes later.

The two sat in a coffee shop on the corner.

As Kumas had just said, it was indeed very quiet here, with almost no other customers.

”Kumas, who are you talking to me on behalf of?” Wilson asked warily.

At this point, how could he not understand that Kumas definitely did not represent himself!
After all, he is just an ordinary professor, with a lower status than me. How could he have that kind of ability?
So it was obvious that Kumas must be working for someone, or a certain force.

Switzerland is a neutral country and Caroline has never been controlled by any capital, but it was unexpected that the infiltration of capital forces has reached this extent.

Wilson actually doesn’t mind doing things for others, provided there are enough benefits.

”It doesn’t matter who I represent, Professor Wilson. What matters is that the existence behind me has the power to lift you up.”

Wilson snorted, ”You can’t just say it, why should I believe you?”

”Professor Wilson, you have had relationships with seven students in the past year, three of whom are boys. I wonder if this will have any impact on you after it is made public?” Kumas said playfully.

Wilson’s face froze.

Kumas said: ”Don’t worry, as long as you do what we say, we will not do anything to you, and we will even help you climb to a higher position.”

Higher position.
The position of Dean of the Karolinska Institutet.

Wilson did think about it for a long time.

But there has been no opportunity in these years.

After a long silence, Wilson finally said, ”You want to manipulate the Nobel Prize? That’s impossible! There are dozens of members on the Nobel Committee. You may be able to control one or two, but you can’t control all of them!”

Kumas smiled and shook his head: ”You underestimate our influence.”

”Let’s not talk about this for now, Professor Wilson, who do you think is most qualified to win the Nobel Prize this year?”

As a professor at Caroline, even though Wilson didn’t know that he would be elected chairman of the Nobel Committee, he still had some knowledge of the dynamics of the medical industry.

He said: ”The scientific researchers nominated this year are all very outstanding, but there are probably only three people who are most likely to win the award. One of them is Cheng Ming from Longguo Yinhai Pharmaceutical. The liver cancer drug invented by this young man has saved countless cancer patients around the world.”

”Another one is Professor Greewei from Huirui Laboratory. This is his second nomination, so his chances are not small this time.”

”There is also a special medicine for gastric cancer from Professor Tramadol of Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals.”

”What a coincidence! These people all developed drugs to treat cancer.”

”But I think that Cheng Ming from Longguo has the highest probability, because this special medicine has the greatest impact. It truly suppresses the activity of cancer cells!”

Kumas listened quietly as Wilson presented his views.

After that, he said, ”I think Professor Grewei has made a greater contribution to the medical community. Besides, Professor Grewei almost got elected last year, didn’t he?”

Wilson narrowed his eyes.

He finally understood that Kumas represented Huirui Pharmaceuticals!

No wonder!
But think about it, apart from a world-class force like Huirui, what other forces have such influence?

”However, although I am the chairman of the committee, I cannot elect anyone I want. After all, the final result will be decided by the votes of all 48 members of the committee,” Wilson said.

”Sometimes it is too easy to control the voting results, such as the details of the information, the order of voting, and you, Professor Wilson, your role is crucial.”

”What’s more, Westerners have a natural filter for Longguo. In more than a hundred years, how many times has Longguo won the Nobel Prize?” Kumas said.

Wilson listened and nodded.

indeed.

To a large extent, they can influence the results of the vote!
But he still hesitated: ”Do you really have the ability to help me?”

”absolute.”

After a long time.

Wilson seemed to have made up his mind: ”Okay! It’s settled.”

Not long after, he left the coffee shop.

Watch Wilson leave.

Kumas made a call: ”Hello, I’m done.”
