40: Pagani HuayraWhen they were almost done with the sea fishing, the staff cleaned up the fish and sent them off to be prepared for dinner that evening.

Jiang Yuan returned to the cabin and changed into the wetsuit prepared beforehand.

“Brother Jiang, are you going diving?”

Gu Xinyu stood on the deck, watching him zip up.

“Yeah, I’m going down for a look.”

Jiang Yuan stretched his limbs, his tone casual, “It’s rare to get out here.”

Of course, he knew that his current state in the water was no longer on the same level as ordinary people.

If he were to dive down for several hours and not surface, he would only terrify the people on the boat.

Thus, he wouldn’t do that, planning instead to play at the pace of an “enhanced ordinary person.”

He stood on the edge of the deck, did a simple warm-up, and then executed a clean entry, leaping off the side of the boat and creating a moderate splash.

The moment the icy seawater enveloped his body, he felt every cell in his body come alive.

His vision quickly adapted underwater, and the color of the sea became exceptionally clear to him—the direction the schools of fish were swimming, the speed of the undercurrents, the outline of the distant reefs—he could distinguish them almost instantly.

With a gentle kick of his leg, his body shot forward like an arrow released from a bowstring.

The feeling was indescribably smooth.

It didn’t take long before he had swum a distance completely unreachable by ordinary people.

The fish in the sea were not very wary of him; several times, schools of fish swam right past him, as if they considered him one of their own.

Jiang Yuan held the harpoon prepared on the boat and moved flexibly through the water.

Spotting his chance, he flicked his wrist, and the harpoon shot out of the water with ridiculously good accuracy.

In no time at all, he had selected a few sufficiently large fish, skewered them easily, and began swimming back.

Before surfacing, he specifically checked the time—it had been about ten minutes since his last breath.

He deliberately chose this moment to surface, grabbing the edge of the yacht and handing the fish up.

“Mr. Jiang has excellent lung capacity.”

The staff member on the deck was slightly surprised, “Diving for so long down there.”

“I’m young, that’s my advantage.”

Jiang Yuan brushed it off casually, smiled, and flipped back into the water.

For the rest of the time, he repeatedly switched between the surface and the underwater world.

Every time he surfaced, the interval was roughly ten-odd minutes, which was neither ridiculously exaggerated nor so short that people wouldn’t notice—it was just enough to make them feel that this boss had truly excellent physical fitness.

Underwater, he was completely in his element.

Schools of fish separated around him and closed up behind him.

Sunlight streamed down diagonally from the surface, falling around him, as if plating him with a faint layer of light.

By the time he handed up the harpoon for the final time, the bucket already contained several large, substantial fish.

There were large Yellow Croakers, Stone Nines, and Groupers—all delicious and desirable fish species.

“We’re in for a treat tonight.”

Jiang Yuan heard someone exclaim as he hauled himself over the edge of the boat.

He took off his diving mask, casually wiped the water from his face, and looked over toward Gu Xinyu.

She stood on the deck, looking at him against the light, her eyes holding something indefinable.

There was surprise, relief, and a hint of... proud admiration.

On the yacht, the fish Jiang Yuan had personally caught were prepared into a feast by the chef. The two finished eating early and hurried back to shore.

It wasn’t that they didn’t want to play longer, but rather—Jiang Yuan’s car was about to arrive.

“Let’s go, first we need to sign for the car.”

He checked the time on his phone and pulled Gu Xinyu toward the parking lot near the shore.

The destination was an open-air parking lot on the side of the coast, only a few hundred meters from the yacht marina.

When the two arrived, they saw from afar an exaggerated, striking supercar parked there, surrounded by a large crowd of people, with the sound of camera phones clicking incessantly.

A well-dressed foreigner stood next to the car, occasionally checking the time, clearly having waited for a while.

Almost simultaneously, Jiang Yuan’s phone vibrated.

He ignored it, glanced at the scene, and walked straight toward the crowd with Gu Xinyu.

“Excuse us, thank you.”

He held Gu Xinyu with one hand and gently parted the crowd with the other.

The surrounding people turned to look.

The strikingly handsome young man possessed a clean yet sharp demeanor, clearly not an ordinary person. When they saw the exquisite and outstanding woman next to him, many people’s eyes lit up even more.

“Hello, I am Jiang Yuan.”

Jiang Yuan squeezed out of the crowd, walked up to the foreigner, and offered a faint smile.

“You are Mr. Jiang?”

The foreigner visibly relaxed and quickly stepped forward, extending his hand. He had seen Jiang Yuan’s photo before arriving, so he recognized him immediately, shaking hands with him enthusiastically, a smile plastered on his face.

“Is this the car I ordered?”

Jiang Yuan’s gaze fell on the vehicle.

With exaggerated lines and extreme aerodynamic styling, the entire car resembled a beast poised to strike, lying silently yet exuding a pressure that suggested it could burst forward at any moment.

“Yes, Mr. Jiang.”

The foreigner immediately switched into professional mode, putting on his practiced smile and speaking at a measured pace, “This is your exclusively customized pagani huayra, equipped with a 7.3L V12 twin-turbocharged engine, capable of accelerating from zero to hundred kilometers per hour in just 2.3 seconds. The entire vehicle is covered in carbon fiber, significantly reducing its body weight. This is the only one of its kind globally.”

As he spoke, he thoughtfully opened the car door, then walked around to the side and continued his introduction.

“The interior is customized according to your preferences, mixing genuine leather with Alcantara, a carbon fiber center console, and all buttons are polished purely by hand. The chassis and suspension have also been specially tuned to better suit your daily urban and high-speed driving environment...”

Jiang Yuan listened carefully, occasionally nodding.

The onlookers also listened with great interest; even if they didn’t understand many of the specifications, everyone understood one thing—this car was extremely expensive.

The foreigner completed his introduction, finally stopping and looking at Jiang Yuan with a tone of professional confirmation: “Since this is a custom model, the overall cost and selling price of this car is approximately ninety million RMB. May I ask, Mr. Jiang, if you are satisfied? Or do you have any other questions I can answer for you?”

“No problems, it’s very good.”

Jiang Yuan nodded, his attitude natural, as if he were confirming a small item worth a few thousand yuan.

He looked back at Xinyu: “Get in the car.”

The two calmly got into the car, closing the doors with a crisp motion.

The moment the vehicle started, the deep roar of the V12 engine exploded in the parking lot, resonating like a beast awakened in its chest.

Jiang Yuan gently tapped the accelerator, and as the RPMs briefly rose, the sound wave startled quite a few people at the scene.

“Holy crap, that sound...”

“Who is this big shot? A customized pagani huayra? Why haven’t I heard of it before?”

Someone lowered their voice, their eyes full of envy and shock.

“Sigh, I couldn’t afford this car even if I worked several lifetimes. Being able to see it here today is worth it.”

Some Girls quietly scrutinized Jiang Yuan inside the car.

A few who thought they were quite good-looking briefly considered—should I go up and ask for his WeChat?

But thinking of the cold-tempered woman in the passenger seat, whose looks were no less than a celebrity’s, they all withdrew those little thoughts, only able to sigh where they stood:

“For someone at his level, what kind of Girls can’t he have...”
