(A/n: There will be two more Chapters today! If not by today! Then in two to three hours! @Leezertje I will keep my promise.)

”Silas!” Ivy bellowed; the shamelessness of the man... truly made her feel complex emotions. Frustration mixed with arousal.

”Hm... I am listening.” Silas’ deep blue eyes remained trained on Ivy’s pink ones; however, his hands roamed to her backside and invaded from behind.

It was only when a scalding warm hand, separated by the thin piece of fabric of the underwear, squeezed her ass that Ivy felt a surge of electricity in her entire body.

Before she could berate the handsome young man brimming with vigor, he leaned and whispered in her ear,

”Ivy, you wore that black lingerie for me, right? You planned everything from the start, right?”

The deep, seductive voice, coupled with the shocking words, made Ivy’s knees almost go weak.

”I am deeply touched. As a reward... I will personally arrange a few more pieces of lingerie for you. Wear those instead. In the future, they will come in handy.” His words were laced with mirth, but Ivy only felt her mind buzzing.

The fate of the beautiful lingerie flashed in her mind. Destined to be torn and brutally cast aside...

Her breathing hitched when the naughty man moved from her back to her front.

With a swift motion, she held his hand; her own breathing sounded ragged, tinged with helplessness.

”Not now... im...important matters are pending...”

Successfully distracted. Silas thought in his heart and slowly pulled his hand back, but before doing that, he didn’t forget to give one last flick, making Ivy curse in a low voice.

”Silas! Fuck! You... just you wait! If I don’t make you beg in bed later, my name is not Ivy!”

”I will be waiting for you, darling~” A smile full of mirth flashed on Silas’s face. ”Sigh... don’t take it to your heart, baby. Your beauty peaks when you look aroused. I... just can’t help but want to admire it sometimes.”

Playing dirty, are we?

Ivy’s lips twitched, and once the opponent’s hand was away from her private territory, she took the chance to attack.

The next second, her delicate, now warm hand slipped into his shirt and rubbed his nipples, making Silas flinch, a low moan escaping his lips.

”Silas, your cherries are... so firm and soft... I want to bite them.” Ivy’s warm breath sprayed on Silas’s neck, coupled with the warm hand’s soft rub, and Silas felt a strain in his lower abdomen.

”Ivy...” Before Silas could even continue his words, Ivy cut him off midway, her warm, jelly-like lips landed on his neck, and she whispered,

”So perky... I want to bite them... lick them and tease them with my tongue... like how I did it...” One of her hands slipped down inside the jeans and gave a firm squeeze to his cock.

”Fuck Ivy, I...oh god!” Silas’s soul almost flew away from his body. Just as he was about to take control, Ivy pulled back and created distance.

”Anyways, let’s go. We are getting late. And don’t take it to your heart... You look ethereal when you are aroused, and I just couldn’t resist myself.” Innocence dripping from her eyes, Ivy gave a sweet smile and walked toward the door.

’What a tease. My Ivy... is truly petty. Ah...’ Silas sighed and decided to take a cold shower. Walking toward his room, he didn’t forget to remind,

”Have your breakfast. Give me some time, and I will

Ivy, on the other hand, smelled the familiar fragrance of food, and her heart leaped to her throat.

With spring in her steps, she walked toward the kitchen and stared at the dumpling soup with tenderness in her eyes.

The orangish-red soup with floating sesame, garnished with spring onion and plump soft dumplings, made Ivy’s mouth water.

After putting one in her mouth, a rich flavor burst in Ivy’s mouth. The slightly spicy soup, tinged with juicy flavor and a taste unique to spring onion, made Ivy close her eyes in delight.

What a masterpiece.

’Should I have one more?’ There were more than 20 dumplings in the bowl. Silas had likely eaten, but to confirm this, she peeked and saw a bowl with remnants of red dregs in the kitchen sink.

20 dumplings... all for her.

Controlling the greed in her heart, Ivy still stored all 20 dumplings. She wasn’t going to leave Silas anymore. But it had become a habit.

If her husband goes on a mission in the future and she misses his cooking, these small food savings will serve as her anchor.

If Silas saw Ivy’s action, he would definitely call her a pink squirrel.

.....

”So... our previous life was supposed to be destitute?” Felix wiped away the sweat, yet his feet remained cold. Thinking about his crazed self... and Alana’s and their children’s death, a chill trembled all over his body.

”Yes.” Alana sounded a bit lost. Her eyes shimmered, and a wave of complex emotion washed over her.

From a logical point of view, they were destined to suffer again in this lifetime... but Ivy... Ivy saved them.

Previously, Ivy was merely a peaceful character in her story, but now she has become the plot twist.

”Why didn’t Ivy help us in our previous life?” Felix quickly reached the crux of the matter. ”Or was she...” dead by the time we reached there?

A hollow silence lingered in the still atmosphere. Many possibilities churned in their mind.

If it wasn’t for Felix’s power, they might have never realized how significant Ivy’s small action had been in their life.

”She is our savior.” Alana’s firm voice echoed, dissipating the tension. ”And based on Ivy’s reaction... I have a feeling.”

”You think she knew about our past and hence...” helped us change our destiny.

Although Felix did not finish his sentence, Alana, who had been his wife for over 10 years, understood what he meant.

Gratitude welled up in their heart.

If Ivy knew everything and yet helped them without asking for anything in return... her actions can’t be simply defined as ’kindness.’

”Let’s meet her.” Alana clenched her fist, and many questions swirled in her mind, and only after confirming them... could she feel rest assured.
