Zombie Apocalypse: I Have Safe Zone Superpower

Chapter 128: Chapter 128: Plum Mark

Since Ivy had made a plan, she acted on it and asked for Silas’s help. ”Can you find a woman with a plum mark on her back?”

Hearing the strange request, Silas was stumped for a while before nodding, ”Alright then, I will announce the news in the base and see if we have someone like that in the base.”

Ivy chuckled, seeing his face. Her attention was then focused on collecting crystals and absorbing them.

On the third day, Ivy broke through and reached level 1. If others had heard how she was able to reach level 1 in just a month, they would have declared her a genius.

It was difficult to upgrade from level 0 to level 1.

The reason was simple: the entire process of absorbing the energy from the crystal and letting it channel into the veins was something a body isn’t used to.

Hence, it takes twice as much time to go from level 0 to level 1 compared to level 1 to level 2.

Ivy was thrilled. She wondered if her second superpower, supplies picking, could be improved, too.

If so, which crystal could help her do so? She had tried to absorb other crystals, but till now, only psychic and space crystals are the ones that she was able to absorb.

The repeated failure made her conclude that maybe either the psychic or the space crystal is used to upgrade her second superpower.

But even that theory has a flaw. She was able to absorb these two crystals since her past life, but at that time, she didn’t have the supplies or the picking superpower.

At the same time, Mayor Daniel’s side was suffering. They had thought that the military would offer them a good deal, but to their surprise, the offer by the military was even less than Ivy’s.

Just one meeting was enough to ruin Daniel’s entire mood. Those b*stards dared to offer 8000kg of rice per square kilometer and even wanted Mayor Daniel to publish that the military was giving him 9000kg of rice per square kilometer, so that they could grab some extra benefit from the higher-ups.

Mason sighed, ”I think we should agree to Miss Ivy’s deal. She is offering us way more than the military.”

”What about the other buyers?” Mayor Daniel didn’t reply and focused on other alternative options with a hopeful approach.

He had bought the land with a lot of difficulty, and his entire savings were used up on this land. His heart was unwilling to let all his effort go down in drain.

”They aren’t offering as much as Miss Ivy, too. Some are even asking if we can sell only 50,000 square meters to them.” Griffin sighed.

His head started to ache when he remembered the comments he had heard from others. They were way too entitled.

”So what? Should we let Ivy take advantage of us?” Viktor asked helplessly.

”We can’t do anything else.” Jonas shrugged. Out of all of them, he felt that the deal wasn’t half bad.

Meat had become so rare that now, even with 10 grams of gold, one might not be able to buy 1 gram of meat. But Ivy was ready to offer 5 fish per square kilometer.

Not to mention... Jonas remembered having a peek at the beautiful woman with cascading pink hair and a serene expression, as well as a cold aura.

His heart was shot down. There was something about her that made him want to go crazy...

Apparently, he wasn’t the only one who had such thoughts; even Elias, who was fortunate to have a look, was enamored. But compare to Jonas, who liked Ivy’s beauty... he was thrilled by her poise and elegance as well as the passive authority she displayed. Like a queen.

Mayor Daniel fell into a deep thought before sighing, ”Since that’s the case, then let’s contact her tomorrow.”

Jonas and Elias looked as if they were injected with chicken blood and said simultaneously, ”Then I will contact her.”

Others: ”...” Eh? So much enthusiasm?

Mayor Daniel stared at both of them with a suspicious gaze before looking away, ”Alright.”

............

Ivy was cultivating in her room when she received the message. A smile bloomed on her face, and she sighed, ”Finally! The land will be mine.”

In the past three days, her superpower had given her rice and flour. She could easily afford 250,000 kg of rice as well as 125 fish.

The next day, both sides met. From Mayor Daniel’s side, there were Mayor Daniel, Jonas, and Elias, while Ivy had arrived all alone.

Her confidence stemmed from the fact that in case worst-case scenarios happened, she would just shout and attract the zombies, who would ignore her and attack Mayor Daniel and his team.

Looking at the messy-haired guy and an old man beside Daniel, she raised her eyebrow in interest, but didn’t ask much.

If Elias had heard about Ivy calling him an old man, he would have cried. He had only dyed his hair silver color and since the color was fading, it looked grey.

Coupled with the harsh journey, his face showed a trace of looking aged when the reality was... he was just 24!

”To finalize the process, we can go to the military.” Ivy didn’t beat around the bush and proposed. She tried her best to keep her expression neutral.

”Sure.” Jonas and Elias replied simultaneously, making Daniel speechless. These guys, can they be even more direct about their intentions?

Ivy only gave a polite nod and soon arrived at the military base. A new department had been opened at the military base named Public Administration, and the government had circulated news about how any individuals who want a scam-proof transaction should do it in front of the nearest military base’s public administration department.

Once there, Ivy signed the contract and officially got the land under her name, then she returned near Mayor Daniel’s house.

”Now... Miss Ivy, can you settle the payment?” Mayor Daniel asked expectantly after all, Ivy was empty-handed during the entire time.
