Ivy laughed. It wasn’t a lighthearted laugh that could bring warmth to a person. It was a laughter filled with coldness, chilling the three people in the living room.

”I-Ivy... get a hold of yourself!” Serphina hollered, fear etched on her face.

On a closer look, her eyes held a hint of confusion, too.

The litte b*tch whom she always had under her control and never contradicted her, suddenly transformed into someone completely unknown person.

”If you don’t apologize and kneel now... I... I will get angry!” Serphina continued to threaten.

Ivy was just a little b*tch, Serphina had picked. How can she show attitude to her? Who gives her the right to do so?

Ivy should be bowing to Isla and Serphina!

”Then be furious. Mother.” Ivy emphasized the word ’mother,’ causing Serphina to shiver in fear.

Ignoring her family members, Ivy walked up to where the whip was and took it out from the drawer.

The black bullwhip’s handle was soft and comfortable without burrs, making it easy to grasp and operate. The thong was 3 fingers wide.

It was Ivy’s best friend. The one she had endured since her childhood. Even at the slightest mistake, she was whipped. Her dear father was the one delivering the punishment each time.

”You wanted to whip me? Right? Don’t worry, I will whip myself, since I did commit a sin. However, once I am finished, I will come for you all.” Ivy said with hatred in her eyes.

Before the Ravencroft family could understand, Ivy swung the whip at herself, causing her to flinch from the biting pain in her back once the whip made contact with her skin.

’I am sorry, Silas. Because of me, you have to suffer and die while saving me.’

Whoosh. Another whip.

’I am sorry, Mom, Dad, sister, brothers... because of me, you all died tragically.’

Whoosh.

’I am sorry, Arial... you have died while saving me.’

Whoosh.

’I am sorry, Jack... you lost your sister because of me.’

Whoosh.

’I am sorry, Amelia... you lost your lover because of me.’

Whoosh.

Seeing Ivy rain down a whip on herself, the faces of the three Ravencroft family turned deadly pale.

Ivy... she wasn’t resembling a human at all. Her beautiful pink hair was tied in ponytail, moved along her moments, her pale skin was getting marred with more bloody red marks, but her deep pink eyes were filled with remorse.

Remorse... enough to break anyone’s heart.

It also had self-loathing... it was as if she hated herself.

At this point, three of them had a single thought.

’Ivy has gone crazy.’

Suddenly, the sound of whipping stopped, and Ivy looked at them. Her face was expressionless.

The Ravencroft family members felt like running away, but Magnus, not wanting to see his authority challenged, opened his mouth,

”You think you can escape your punishment just because you have punished yourself? No! I will personally whip. Give it to me.”

”Magnus Ravencroft.” Ivy called him in a calm and steady voice, ”You are the first one who is going to be punished.”

”What-” do you mean?

Maganus couldn’t finish his words before Ivy swung the bullwhip in his direction.

Clang.

”Ouch!” Magnus shouted, the biting pain from the bullwhip almost made him jump out of his own skin. ”What the hell, Ivy!”

Ivy ignored as she pulled back the whip and swung it with even more force,

”This is for always whipping me, and never taking a stand for me.”

Whoosh.

”Ouch!” Magnus screamed, and he turned to run. Not once in his life had he expected that the pain of getting whipped would be so much.

’Serphina said that the wider the whip was, the less pain it delivered. Why the heck is it hurting like hell!’ He thought as he tried to create a distance, but Ivy sensed his next move. followed him and whipped him.

”Ah! Ivy! Stop! What are you doing to my husband?” Serphina, who had snapped out of her daze, chased after Ivy.

She couldn’t believe the scene in front of her.

Was this still the same Ivy who used to bow her head and worship them like a god?

Ivy turned toward Serphina with a twisted smile,

”Don’t worry. I will come back to you too. Your list is way longer than his.”

”Do you think I will stand here and let you insult my husband?” Serphina questioned as she marched toward Ivy.

For Serphina, her husband was her top priority. No one gets to hurt him!

”Then don’t. Come share his woes.” Ivy suggested with the same twisted smile.

Without giving Serphina to process her words, Ivy attacked Serphina.

Whoosh.

”Ahhh!” Till the time she didn’t feel the bone-crushing pain, Serphina couldn’t realize the severity of the situation. Her knees buckled from the force, and she stumbled back, clutching her arm.

”You... you demon!” she cried out, tears pricking the corners of her eyes, more from humiliation than pain.
