The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Meylin understood better than anyone what the Empyrean World meant to the warriors of the Alliance. It was far more than a battlefield or a fortress. It was their sanctuary, their home, the foundation upon which the hopes of an entire universe rested. No matter how desperate the battle became, she would never willingly endanger it.

Surprisingly, despite the instability of his mind, Nito understood that truth as well.

The Empyrean World was equally important to the Tenth Empyrean World’s plans. That was why, without exchanging a single word, both warriors instinctively carried their battlefield higher and higher into the void.

Only once they had moved far beyond the reach of the Empyrean World’s protective barriers did they truly unleash their power.

The restraints vanished.

The power of the True Depravita of Hope and the bearer of the Samsara Eye exploded without reservation.

Below them, the warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe Alliance and the Curse Eaters of the Tenth Empyrean World could not stop looking upward.

Every one of them was fighting to the death.

Every moment of distraction could cost them their lives.

Yet their eyes moved of their own accord, irresistibly drawn toward the clash unfolding above.

What they witnessed transcended common sense.

Every collision between Meylin and Nito rewrote reality itself. Space folded inward, stars of pure energy were born and extinguished within seconds, and waves of Fourth Realm Force spread across the void, reaching even the distant edges of the battlefield.

The sight inspired awe in every heart.

That...

That was the power every cultivator dreamed of obtaining.

A force that stood beyond the universe itself.

If they could wield such power, even for a single instant, it would prove that every sacrifice, every painful choice, every drop of blood spilled along their cultivation path had been worthwhile.

Even the Curse Eaters could not deny it.

Though none of them dared voice the thought aloud...

The person they admired most at that moment was not Nito.

It was Meylin.

Unlike Nito, whose Fourth Realm Force had been bestowed by the King of the Tenth Empyrean World through the terrifying Samsara Eye, Meylin had earned every fragment of her strength herself.

Her power had not been gifted.

It had been forged.

Forged through countless defeats.

Forged through unbearable pain.

Forged through lifetimes of refusing to surrender, no matter how many times fate knocked her down.

Every step she had taken...

Every scar she carried...

Every loved one she had fought to protect...

All of it had become part of the Flame of Hope.

Her power belonged to no one else.

It belonged solely to her.

”Arc of Hope!”

Meylin’s voice echoed across the void.

Golden starlight burst from her eyes as Longinus descended.

A crescent of radiant light tore free from the blade.

The slash cleaved through the fabric of reality, leaving behind an enormous scar across the void itself.

Yet the most terrifying aspect of the attack was not its initial strength.

It continued growing.

Just like hope itself.

The farther it traveled, the stronger it became.

The Fourth Realm Force contained within it transcended laws, concepts, and even causality.

Any Alpha Omega Overgod—even one standing at the absolute limit of the Third Realm—would have fled in despair before such an attack.

Nito did the opposite.

He charged directly toward it.

Purple flames engulfed his body as his right hand transformed into a monstrous claw wrapped in Samsara Energy.

Without slowing down, he reached forward and grabbed the incoming arc.

The void shook violently.

Cracks spread throughout the radiant slash.

Then—

”CRACK!”

The Arc of Hope shattered into thousands of fragments.

But Nito was not finished.

He opened his claw.

A massive vortex immediately formed before his palm, drawing in every broken fragment of Fourth Realm Force.

The countless shards compressed together until they became a blazing sphere of violet plasma that radiated a brilliance capable of eclipsing the sun itself.

”Samsara Blast.”

The words were spoken calmly.

The next instant...

The void exploded.

The beam of purple plasma surged forward like the judgment of the universe itself.

Wherever it passed, existence twisted.

Life became death.

Creation became nothingness.

The very cycle of Samsara was distorted by its overwhelming power.

Meylin’s expression changed.

She immediately realized something was wrong.

The surrounding space suddenly solidified.

Time itself became sluggish.

The beam had not merely targeted her body.

It had sealed every possible path of escape.

Dodging was impossible.

She took a single step backward.

Then...

She smiled.

”No.”

Hope had never been about avoiding despair.

It had always been about charging through it.

”ARGHHHHHH!”

Her roar echoed across the endless void, reverberating throughout the Empyrean World below.

The Flame of Hope erupted once more.

Gathering every remaining ounce of strength into Longinus, Meylin lunged directly into the heart of the Samsara Blast.

The blade met the beam.

Reality screamed.

Every particle of Fourth Realm Force she possessed condensed around the sword’s edge.

She was no longer merely cutting a beam of energy.

She was carving through a force capable of turning reality itself into oblivion.

Nito’s expression twisted.

His eyes widened.

Then rage exploded within them.

”Impossible!”

Purple flames erupted violently around him as he poured even more Samsara Energy into the beam.

The pressure increased exponentially.

Meylin’s body trembled violently.

Blood burst from countless pores.

Bones cracked beneath the unimaginable strain.

Yet...

She refused to stop.

Instead, she burned even more fiercely.

Her life.

Her soul.

Her future.

Everything became fuel for the Flame of Hope.

Little by little...

Step by agonizing step...

She advanced.

Until finally...

She reached the origin of the beam.

”Cut!”

Longinus flashed.

Nito’s right arm was severed cleanly at the shoulder.

Blood erupted into the void.

Meylin herself was in no better condition.

Blood streamed from her eyes, nose, ears, and mouth.

Every fiber of her existence had reached its limit.

She was like a lone firefly burning its final spark before vanishing forever.

Yet...

She still had one last strike.

For a brief moment, she closed her eyes.

A single image appeared within her heart.

A gentle smile formed on her lips.

”Goodbye...”

When she opened her eyes again...

The determination blazing within them was so absolute that even many true Fourth Realm life forms would have found themselves shaken.

”DIE!”

With the last breath remaining in her lungs, Meylin roared as she raised Longinus high overhead before bringing it down with every fragment of strength she had left.

The blade descended toward Nito’s collarbone.

Its purpose was simple.

Split him in two.

Nito had no time to react.

His supreme technique had been broken.

His balance had been shattered.

He could only watch as Longinus carved through his shoulder and buried itself deep within his body.

The Samsara Eye erupted with overwhelming power, desperately trying to preserve its host’s life.

It regenerated flesh.

It reinforced bones.

It attempted to rewrite fate itself.

But if Nito were split in half...

Even the Samsara Eye would not be able to save him.

For the first time...

Death truly stood before him.

Then—

”CRACK.”

A tiny sound echoed through the void.

Meylin’s will had not faltered.

The Flame of Hope still burned brightly enough to finish the battle.

But the same could not be said for the weapon carrying that will.

Longinus had already surpassed its limits.

After carving through half of a body strengthened by the Fourth Realm...

The legendary sword trembled.

Cracks raced across its blade.

And before Meylin could complete the final inch of her strike...

It shattered into countless fragments of fading starlight.
