The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2029: The Scarlet King vs everybody (III)

The battle above the ocean had grown more explosive with every passing moment. The once endless sea had become a death field where anything below the rank of a Peak Prima Deity would be instantly annihilated. Yet even titans have limits, and those limits were beginning to show.

The forces of the Imperium of Time were riddled with wounds—some grave enough to threaten even their lives. Across the battlefield, their blood stained the waves, their breaths came ragged, and their divine auras flickered.

On the other side, the Scarlet King was equally battered. The torrent of world energy that had been flooding into him since his Resurrección was finally waning. His body bore wounds so deep they carved into bone, his left eye was gone, one leg was charred black from dark plasma. And yet... his gaze remained utterly focused, empty of hesitation. It was as if, even if the world crumbled into dust and his heart was destroyed, he would not falter.

Cain’s figure cut across the sky, tearing through the plasma dragons in his path. His palm sundered one beast after the other before he came face-to-face with Azazel. For the briefest moment, the emptiness in his eyes seemed to ignite—and then he struck.

The blow thundered like judgment itself, hurling the massive serpent-dragon body of the True Depravita across the firmament. Blast after blast followed, smashing into Azazel’s chest, tearing through flesh and scale. Azazel vomited blood, his life force plummeting dangerously low.

Yet in that moment, the Scarlet King’s aura finally faltered. His strength, though immense, was beginning to wane. The enemies had been waiting for this exact crack.

Before Cain could regain his stance, attacks surged from every direction.

Tibet was first. The Pseudo-Depravita launched himself downward, his entire being condensed into a single devastating kick aimed to crush Cain. But at the last instant, Cain’s power flared. He twisted aside and countered, his fist colliding with Tibet’s torso and blasting the monk-turned-monster down into the raging sea.

There was no time to breathe. Polo and Gilgamesh struck next, both hacking downward with cracked axes with all the power left in their bodies and souls. Cain raised his right arm, muscles tearing as he caught the two titanic weapons in a single block. The clash rang across the world like a bell of doom, and before the Scarlet King could counter the duo, a third strike came.

Having finally recovered enough strength, Juda appeared in a flash of fire. His sword, heavy with power that could slice the Laws themselves, cleaved up toward Cain’s waist. The Scarlet King snapped his leg, intercepting the sword.

For the first time since the battle began, Cain was pinned—arm locked against the axes, leg braced against Juda’s blade.

The three enemies clenched their teeth, shocked and furious. How could a body so small withstand their combined might? Even immobilized, the Scarlet King did not waver. But though they could not overpower him, their combined assault had bound him in place.

And that was enough.

Calypso, Divine Sea, and Heronimo seized the opening. Their auras ignited, Laws bursting forth in cataclysmic fury. Torrents of blood, liquid death, and poison surged together, merging into a storm of annihilation.

”ARGHHHHHHH!” their voices roared, unleashing the full devastation of their dominion.

Cain’s expression hardened into solemn calm. He felt his bones cracking under the pressure as he prepared to unleash a final burst of strength, to shatter the torrents and hurl the trio away. But before he could, time itself twisted.

The True Depravita, drained and broken, poured the last of his will into the flow of time. His claws carved reality, forging a specter of temporal essence that embraced Cain’s body. Time froze around him, his energy sealed, his spirit bound.

”NOW! UNLEASH EVERYTHING!” Azazel roared, blood streaming from his eyes as his form collapsed back into mangeld humanoid shape. His reserves were spent, but his gamble had bought the moment they needed.

Polo, Gilgamesh, and Juda’s eyes blazed with killing resolve. They did not relent. Their weapons pressed harder, locking Cain’s body in place while torrents of death and poison thundered down upon him.

Cain’s eyes remained void. No fear, no rage, no despair. Only silence.

Then the world shook.

”BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!”

The explosion consumed everything. A storm of blood, poison, and death essence erupted, devouring sea and sky alike. Tibet, Polo, Gilgamesh, and Juda were hurled backward by the shockwave, their bodies shredded with wounds. Yet even as they coughed blood, they smiled grimly.

The Scarlet King was engulfed.

And it was not over.

From the abyss, Legion released one final roar. The ocean of malice burst upward, and the last surviving dragon of darkness plunged into the storm, fusing with it. The maelstrom swelled into something greater, something apocalyptic—a newborn sun of corruption. Black and crimson light radiated outward, its destructive essence so dense it warped reality itself.

The mangled ArchDeities of the Imperium of Time stared in awe. Their eyes glowed with savage thrill. That sun of death—this was power enough to erase worlds, to erase the Scarlet King once and for all.

”Is he dead?” the thought crossed every mind.

But before relief could take hold, the sun froze.

Then it began to spin. Faster. Faster. Reality shuddered.

And under the horrified stares of gods and monsters alike, the entire storm of destruction was drawn inward—sucked into a singularity forming above the Scarlet King’s palm!

When the light cleared, Cain still stood.

His body was mangled, wounds tearing across every limb, but none of it mattered. The Scarlet King rose into the sky like a sovereign of conquest, an entity beyond Law, beyond life and death. Around his hand spun a black hole, a singularity of order and annihilation.

The battlefield fell silent.

Cain’s gaze sharpened, focusing on his chosen target. His lips parted, and three simple words spilled forth.

”Great Conqueror Cannon.”

His voice echoed across the firmament like destiny’s decree, a sound that split heaven and earth.

And the world braced for judgment.
