But the reaction of these orc soldiers was too slow after all.

The corn cannonballs had fallen on top of their heads the instant they found out.

”Boom boom boom!”

Immediately afterwards, a series of earth-shattering explosions sounded.

Most of the orc soldiers were caught off guard and were blown into flying ash before they even had time to react.

After all, Carter was the leader of an orc army. The first time he saw the corn shells, he pulled the reins of his horse and retreated quickly.

While retreating, he directed the orc soldiers behind to evacuate quickly.

But even if these orc soldiers reacted, they didn’t have war horses like Carter.

You can only run with your own feet.

Some soldiers riding summoned beasts were much faster.

Following Carter quickly retreated to a few hundred meters behind.

After a period of indiscriminate bombardment, the army of wasteland orcs that came to attack was beaten to pieces, leaving less than 200 summoned beasts and more than a dozen orc soldiers.

”kill!”

At this time, Bai Yu and the others had already controlled the corn siege vehicle and chased them out.

Carter hurriedly led the remaining team to flee in a hurry.

In the end, he was hit by several corn shells, and many people were killed and injured.

”How’s the situation?”

At this time, Luo Xiu’s voice came from behind.

All five turned their heads to look at Luo Xiu with excitement on their faces.

Bai Yu was the first to cup his hands and said, ”My lord, you are here! The army of wilderness orcs who just invaded has been repelled by us.”

”How many have you come?”

Luo Xiu hurriedly asked.

”There are probably close to three thousand, more than 2000 summoned beasts, as well as some siege artillery, and orc soldiers who control them.”

”It’s a pity that there seems to be no commander who can kill the opponent.”

Li Kang replied.

Oni said with a smile on his face: ”My lord, these special defense towers of yours are really too strong. It only took us almost 10 minutes just now, and we wiped out the army of orcs in the wasteland.”

”Yes, my lord, with your special defense towers, we don’t need to worry about these guys coming to attack!”

Wu Wei also said with excitement.

Luo Xiu nodded slightly, and then continued to ask about the casualties of his side.

After learning that Bai Yu deliberately designed a trap, all the corn siege engines were ambushed nearby.

After letting a group of low-level summoned beasts serve as bait, they were quite happy.

”This time, we wiped out their army of 3000 horses without losing a single soldier. I think the city owner of the orc city in the wasteland will be pissed off if he finds out, hahaha!”

On the way back, Oni said with a smile on his face.

Luo Xiu’s complexion was slightly gloomy, and he patted Oni’s shoulder and said:
”Don’t be too complacent. This time we succeeded in using tactics and made them underestimate the enemy. That’s why we have such a result.”

”You also know the way the orcs do things. These guys won’t let it go. Let’s discuss this matter after we go back.”

Bai Yu also nodded slowly and said:
”Yes, our victory this time was a fluke. These orcs really underestimated the enemy.”

”Now that most of our strength has been exposed, it will definitely be more difficult to fight in the future.”

Within the Desolate Shield City.

Carter knelt down in front of the city lord Sami in embarrassment.

”My lord, we fell for it! This human guy actually set up a trap. When we attacked, we deliberately threw out low-level summoned beasts as bait.”

”Let us this time... the entire army be wiped out!”

After Carter finished speaking, his face was distorted even uglier than a bitter melon.

”What did you say? The team of 3000 people was all wiped out? How many people are there?”

Sammy asked coldly.

”They...they only have five people, but they have extremely strong defensive weapons, which are a kind of defensive tower that can fire special shells.”

”This kind of defense tower has an extremely long range and is extremely powerful. Our team was wiped out almost instantly!”

There was a bit of crying in Carter’s voice.

Sami’s face was extremely gloomy, as if it was enough to drip water. After pondering for a while, he looked at Carter with dark eyes and said:
”I don’t need to say how the defeated general will be treated in our city! Pull me down!”

Carter’s body trembled when he heard the words, and he screamed:

”City lord! Forgive me, city lord! We were all deceived by those cunning humans! City lord!”

However, Sami ignored him, and soon, two orc soldiers came up and dragged Carter down.

Seeing Carter’s end, many orc leaders below felt a chill in their necks.

When Sami was going to send people to attack Luo Xiu’s camp.

Almost everyone here rushed to go, but now they didn’t expect that Carter would end up in such a fate,
Three thousand soldiers and horses, the whole army was wiped out.

”Lord City Lord, this human guy is obviously provoking us!”

An orc in a gray robe gritted his teeth and said.

”Yes! Lord City Master! These guys think they are very smart, but they don’t know how powerful we are!” Another gray-robed orc also said.

Sami didn’t talk to him, but his eyes were already burning with extremely angry flames.

After staring at the totem belonging to their wasteland orcs in front of him for a while, he said in a deep voice: ”Send my order and open the door to battle! I will make these guys pay a terrible price!”

When the orcs below heard this, they couldn’t help but hold their breath, as if they didn’t expect that their city lord would be so angry.

Once the door to battle is opened, it means that they will fight each other forever.

”My lord, I have a plan!” Suddenly, an orc commander stepped forward and said with cupped hands.

”Say.” Sami replied lightly.

”That’s it, Lord City Lord, although the opponent’s special defense towers are very powerful, they are just defense towers after all.”

”The weakness of the defense tower is that it is very difficult to move. Since they are tightly defending the south, then we will attack the east and take their fire of life!”

The commander said proudly.

There is a big gap between the great commander of the orc clan and the leader.

There are more than 8000 people under this commander.

Moreover, he is also a relatively famous commander in Desolate Shield City, and has made great achievements in many wars.

After listening to his words, Sami nodded slightly and said: ”This method is feasible, then you go to prepare, and go out to crusade tomorrow.”

”Yes!” The commander immediately took the order and slowly stepped aside.

”Does anyone have any suggestions?” Sami said and continued to sweep towards the others.
