Chapter 2 The start of the game!

With the fire of life rekindled.

The surrounding black mist receded.

Bathed in the firelight, Luo Xiu felt warm and comfortable.

Fire of life!

Not only does it have the ability to dispel darkness, but it can also continuously release life energy, repair human injuries, and strengthen the body.

At the same time, human souls can also be temporarily entrusted in the fire of life, and through the fire of life, observe the nearby situation.

Luo Xiu pressed his hand on the life fire and injected his soul.

The whole person seems to be floating, entering some kind of magical ”God’s perspective”.

In the field of vision, with the fire of life as the center, the thick black fog within a hundred meters all receded.

However, it is only a hundred meters.

The current fire of life is still very weak. To expand the range, the fire of life must be strengthened.

To rekindle the flame of life, the souls of powerful and strange creatures are required to be sacrificed.

Within a hundred meters, there were some strange creatures scattered here and there. Fortunately, there were not many of them. There were only thirty or fifty of them. Most of them were unintelligent zombies and wandering spirits.

These creatures are the lowest level of weird creatures and the weakest existence. They can be killed with white quality defense towers.

What surprised Luo Xiu even more.

His current location is at the bottom of the ancient forest.

In the center of the ancient woodland is a majestic giant tree that has existed for an unknown number of years. Before it was captured by strange creatures, it was a holy land, where many creatures were bred and even protected by gods.

Luo Xiu is located in a small valley at the bottom of the ancient tree, and there is only one exit, which is very suitable for defense.

Moreover, in the valley, there is also a spiritual tree growing.

This is a good material for building defense facilities!
Although it is wood, after being baptized by aura, it is as hard as steel!
It is the best material to build a city wall!

”This is a good start! To build a city wall strong enough to block the entrance of the valley, you need about 100 spirit wood.”

Under the protection of the four white arrow towers, Luo Xiu went to cut down the spirit wood.

Soon, 100 spiritual wood units were accumulated in the storage ring.

During this period of time, the White Arrow Tower also wiped out all the weird creatures in the valley jungle, turning it into a safe zone.

Occasionally, there will be some wandering spirits floating over the valley, and they will also be killed by the arrow tower.

Luo Xiu hugged the spirit wood he picked, and built a five or six-meter-high city wall at the entrance and exit of the valley, and moved the two arrow towers to the top of the city wall, unless he encountered a giant or a more powerful strange creature .

Otherwise, the lowest level of strange creatures would not be able to penetrate his city walls.

This also means that he is temporarily safe.

”It’s a pity that the only resource here is spiritual wood. I still need food and water. Otherwise, I will die of thirst and starvation sooner or later.”

Luo Xiu felt a little regretful. Although this start was good, it was only suitable for short-term defense. If he stayed, he would just sit and wait for death.

Moreover, the ancient woodland has just experienced the baptism of the tide of life, and the revival of aura will attract more strange creatures to attack.

At that time, they will frantically attack all camps that have the breath of life or the fire of life.

Luo Xiu is no exception.

He first built a spiritual wooden house next to the fire of life, and then built a fence to protect the fire of life.

Finally, two logging machines were built on the spirit wood.

This spirit tree is the smallest and can only accommodate two logging machines.

The quality of the logging machine is white, which belongs to the initial prop resource, and can cut 10 units of wood every day.

In this way, Luo Xiu can get 20 spirit wood resources every day.

The efficiency is not high, but at least the hands are freed to do more things.

After all, a rare resource like spirit wood is even rarer than iron ore, and not everyone can come across it.

If the initial camp has no resources, it can only be purchased from others through the trading space intertwined with the fire of life, but the price will inevitably rise.

Luo Xiu turned on the system and glanced at it.

Sure enough, all the facilities he built can be upgraded through system points.

Currently, he already has 53 system points.

Every time you kill a strange creature at the bottom, you will get 1 point.

If you want to get more, you have to kill higher-level weird creatures.

But with Luo Xiu’s current strength, it is not enough to go to the deeper dark area.

In his virtual space, there are three light prism towers, which are of blue quality, equivalent to the strength of a third-order strange creature.

Luo Xiu didn’t lay it immediately because once the defense tower was set up, system points or life fire would be consumed every time it moved.

Because the white arrow tower is the lowest level, it costs very little to move it, but a high-level defense tower like the light prism tower costs more.

He had to stay at the most critical time before laying the light prism tower.

”The current me is too weak, so I can’t rush into the black mist area outside to explore. But I can’t just sit here and wait for death.”

”Try to stay here first and accumulate system points.”

Luo Xiu is very cautious. With the valley camp as the foundation, he can continue to grow stronger by keeping calm.

When you have a purple or even golden defense tower, which is equivalent to a lord-level weird creature, it is not too late to explore in the black mist area.

After setting the automatic attack mode of the arrow tower.

Luo Xiu lay on the bed in the wooden house and began to study the infinite tower defense system.

After opening the tower defense illustration book, he found many familiar defense towers.

There are ”Light Prism Tower”, ”Magnetic Storm Tower”, and ”Machine Gun Bunker” in Red Police, as well as ”Pea Shooter”, ”Watermelon Pitcher”, and ”Corn Cannon” in Plants vs. Zombies, and ”Ghost Tower” in Warcraft ”, ”Spider Web Tower”, ”Ancient Guardian”, and ”Photon Turret” and ”Missile Tower” in StarCraft.

In short, there are all kinds of defensive towers in various games in the previous life.

Among them are some super killer weapons, such as photon turrets, or ancient guardians, all of which have very strong lethality.

Relatively, the unlocking conditions are also very cumbersome.

”In addition to the lowest-level defense towers, high-level defense towers require not only system points, but also corresponding soul imprints to unlock them.”

”For example, a photon turret requires 10000 points and 50 electronic cores.”

”The system points are simple, just accumulate slowly. As for the electronic core, it’s a bit tricky.”

Luo Xiu sighed.

The strange creatures in this world will drop some strange cores, which are said to be ancient lost technology and power.

The electronic core can be used to strengthen the defense tower, or build some complex defense towers.

Only weird creatures with high ranks will drop these cores.
