Devouring Evolution: I Reborn as an Arctic Wolf

Chapter 98: Chapter 96: Visit the Wolf Mother, Encounter with the Grizzly Bear.

Meanwhile,

on the western edge of the territory belonging to Su Lin and Wolf Father,

a giant Arctic Wolf with grey-white fur and a stature of over three meters, radiated an aura of extreme ferocity and brutality!

Gazing at the torn remains of more than a dozen wolves from its pack, its wolf eyes blazed with a chilling murderous intent and fury.

Its fur was very uneven, with some particularly unsightly grey-brown spots,

By standards of appearance, it was among the uglier of the Arctic Wolves.

But now,

nearly a hundred wolves lay prostrate at the feet of this Arctic Wolf, their front limbs over their heads and tails tightly tucked, daring not to make a single unnecessary move.

They were showing this Arctic Wolf the highest respect and submission that is known to the Wolf Clan.

And this grey-white Arctic Wolf lifted its massive head, looking eastward.

Who dared to hunt its subjects within its territory?

The wolf eyes of the grey-white Arctic Wolf narrowed, emanating an extremely dangerous aura.

…

In the howling blizzard, time passed swiftly.

In the blink of an eye, three days had gone by.

The storm outside not only did not stop but seemed to grow more ferocious.

The two Wolfesses, who could still endure and patrol outside, now barely stepped out before the bone-chilling blizzard made them shiver uncontrollably, unable to even take a step.

Even Little Lone Wolf and Xiao Hui found it hard to venture out in this exceptionally violent blizzard.

Thus, when Su Lin went to find Wolf Dad and Wolf Mom, he didn’t plan on bringing Xiao Hui and the others.

He picked up about sixty to seventy pounds of Variant Species Lynx meat and left the cave alone.

Advancing quickly through the raging storm,

he didn’t encounter a single creature, not even the shadow of any other species.

Even the two Grizzly Bears, which could endure the cold best in the nearby area, were likely shivering in their own caves.

This blizzard was indeed a rare occurrence.

The wind at times reached force eight or nine, raging unchecked in the harsh Arctic.

It seemed as if all species had to submit before it.

“These unusual natural phenomena are indeed becoming more frequent. Such a big storm has lasted for over ten days now. If it continues like this, who knows how many species in the harsh Arctic will survive?” Su Lin mused internally while quickly heading toward the cave where Wolf Dad and Wolf Mom stayed, struggling against the fierce winds.

Even Su Lin felt a considerable resistance from the storm relentless enough to penetrate his fur.

One could well imagine the deadly threat it posed to ordinary Species.

It wasn’t long before,

he arrived at the cave where Wolf Dad and Wolf Mom stayed,

their usual figure patrolling outside the cave was nowhere to be seen.

Clenching the Lynx in his jaws, Su Lin was almost at the cave entrance when he finally heard Wolf Father’s howl.

When Wolf Father saw that it was his own offspring at the entrance, he seemed very excited.

Su Lin glanced at Wolf Father,

noticing that his strength had clearly improved, advancing a good distance into level seven.

This was thanks to the recent abundance of food for the pack.

“Ao!”

Wolf Father howled softly, beckoning Su Lin into the cave.

The violent blizzard caused even his large frame to sway slightly.

Once inside the cave,

even Su Lin felt noticeably warmer.

After entering,

he surveyed Wolf Father’s cave, finding the pack curled up in corners, snuggling for warmth.

Wolf Mother and Wolf Father were at the very back, in a spot untouched by the winds.

The best part of the cave had always been reserved for the Lead Wolf and Wolf Queen alone.

“Ao!”

Wolf Mother was also delighted at Su Lin’s arrival.

She quickly stood up and approached Su Lin.

Despite the fierce blizzard outside, Wolf Father and Wolf Mother seemed to be in good spirits.

Su Lin came over and affectionately greeted Wolf Father,

but he didn’t forget his mission for visiting,

He placed the Lynx meat before Wolf Father and Wolf Mother, gesturing for them to eat.

He also howled softly, telling them to save some of the Lynx meat for him to eat.

Because if Wolf Father and Wolf Mother ate more, their strength would increase, and their ability to protect themselves in this brutal environment would be even greater.

The bond of blood made Su Lin think even more of Wolf Dad and Wolf Mom.

“Ao! Ao!”

Faced with the food brought by their offspring, Wolf Father and Wolf Mother howled joyfully.

Although the Variant Species Lynx had been dead for many days,

its flesh had not frozen, nor had it spoiled, and still retained the original flavor.

When Wolf Father and Wolf Mother took the first bite, their expressions changed.

They were even more surprised than the first time they tasted fish.

They had never eaten anything so delicious before.

Especially Wolf Father,

His strong instincts as a Variant Species made him sense the powerful energy and nutrition in the Lynx meat.

If he ate more, his evolution Speed would certainly increase.

This prompted Wolf Father to start devouring it greedily.

While Wolf Father and Wolf Mother were eating, Su Lin used an Evolution Potion on each of them.

Now in possession of over thirty Evolution Potions, using a few was of little consequence.

Next,

after Wolf Father and Wolf Mother finished eating,

as a level seven Variant Species with a strong endurance, Wolf Father was still doing relatively well.
