Chapter 12 Reclamation, Hunting

Chapter 12 Reclamation, Hunting
The next day, early in the morning.

Su Ming opened his eyes, and the first thing he saw was Er Gouzi lying beside the bed.

At this time, Ergouzi was staring at Su Ming with his big Kazilan eyes.

Su Ming looked at Er Gouzi, and Er Gouzi was also looking at him.

One person and one wolf stared for a while.

Su Ming smiled and said, ”Good morning, Er Gouzi.”

”Ow!”

Seeing Su Ming talking, the warg roared excitedly and circled around the bed board.

obviously.

Er Gouzi woke up early, but he was afraid of disturbing Su Ming’s rest, so he lay quietly on his stomach without making a sound.

Seeing this scene, Su Ming felt a warm current in his heart, and a smile appeared on his face.

Immediately, he took out a piece of barbecue from his backpack and placed it in front of Er Gouzi.

”I didn’t eat anything last night, are you hungry?”

When Er Gouzi saw the barbecue on the ground, his saliva flowed down.

But it didn’t choose to eat, but pushed the roast meat towards Su Ming with its paws.

She winked at Su Ming.

”Ow!”

Obviously, it wanted Su Ming to eat first.

Seeing this scene, Su Ming smiled.

Stretching out his hand to stroke its wolf head, he said, ”I’m not hungry, this piece of barbecue is for you, eat it.”

Er Gouzi still didn’t eat.

He tilted his head and looked at Su Ming with doubts in his eyes.

It seems that I don’t understand why the owner doesn’t eat such a delicious barbecue.

Seeing it like this, Su Ming took out another piece of barbecue from his backpack and said, ”Don’t worry, I still have it here, don’t worry about me.”

”Ow!”

Seeing that Su Ming still had barbecue, Er Gouzi boldly ate it.

It would take Su Ming more than half an hour to eat a large piece of barbecue.

Ergouzi finished eating in less than 10 minutes.

After eating, he looked up to the sky and howled in satisfaction.

”Ow!”

On the side, Su Ming was a little surprised when he saw this scene.

”I didn’t expect Er Gouzi to be so edible. If this is the case, the fire mastiff meat won’t last for a few days.”

”After the reclamation, we have to visit the ruins, otherwise Ergouzi and I will have to drink from the northwest wind in a few days!”

Yesterday’s fire mastiff incident left a big shadow on Su Ming.

But it also made him understand one thing.

That is. Alien beasts are not as scary as imagined!
Strange beasts, like animals, can feel pain and fear.

Hit its vital parts and it will die too.

Of course, this also has something to do with the fact that Su Ming met all small and medium-sized strange beasts.

A real large beast.

Like three lions bigger than an elephant, a bat bigger than a man.

Su Ming hasn’t met him yet.

”I have a pistol and a pair of dogs. As long as I don’t encounter large strange beasts, there is no need to be afraid.”

”Even after the furnace comes out, I can hunt exotic beasts with Ergouzi.”

”In this way, Er Gouzi’s food and clothing problem will be solved.”

Su Ming thought of this, no longer worried about food

He stood up, pushed open the wooden door, and walked out.

”The matter of hunting will be discussed in a few days, and the problem of reclamation will be solved first.”

”Ow!”

Seeing Su Ming leaving, Er Gouzi hurriedly followed.

Su Ming came outside the shelter and began to look for land suitable for cultivation.

”The reclaimed land is too far away from the refuge, and it is troublesome to take care of the crops. It is too close and too conspicuous, which is easy to cause trouble.”

”Water source is also a problem. You can’t go too far away from the water source.”

”It’s better to be flat, with no hills around.”

Su Ming considered for half an hour, and finally set the reclaimed land to the north of the well.

There are dead trees all around here, and it is easy to collect wood when building a greenhouse.

The remaining dead trees can also serve as a shelter, making the greenhouse less conspicuous.

”That’s it!”

After Su Ming determined the location, he took out the [Soil Purification Device] from his backpack.

Placed in the middle of the selected position.

A white light flashed.

A machine as tall as a person appeared out of thin air.

Immediately, the surrounding soil changed at a speed visible to the naked eye.

The dark red land turned to normal brown.

Although there is still some redness, it is not as obvious as before.

“Next comes the plowing.”

Su Ming made a stone pick out of wood and stones.

Holding the stone hoe, he began to loosen the soil.

This was Su Ming’s first time doing farm work, and his lack of experience made his movements stiff and inefficient.

Fortunately, there are not many fields that need to loosen the soil, only one square kilometer, which is one and a half mu in conversion.

With Su Ming’s physical strength, a day or two is almost enough.

A day or two may sound simple.

actually not.

The trouble is yet to come.

The soil purification device can only reduce the radiation of the soil, and cannot turn wasteland into farmland.

therefore.

After loosening the soil, Su Ming still needs to fertilize, dig ditches, and divert water.

This is just the preparatory work.

After sowing, greenhouses need to be built and carefully cared for.

And
Even if this series of processes are all completed, it will take three or four months to gain anything.

no way.

Reclamation is such a troublesome thing.

But it still has to be done.

If there is no reclamation, in the later stage, it is absolutely impossible to rely solely on the search for materials.

Of course, if you want to be a bandit in the wasteland, specializing in burning, killing and looting, that’s another way of saying it.

Su Ming held the hoe and worked from morning to noon, barely loosening a third of the soil.

And Er Gouzi has been sitting beside him, quietly watching Su Ming work.

”call--”

”I’m so tired!”

In the afternoon, Su Ming put down his hoe and stretched his body.

Feeling sore all over the body.

”Ow!”

Seeing Su Ming resting, Ergouzi hurriedly came over.

It circled around Su Ming, hoping that Su Ming would touch it twice.

When Su Ming saw it, he was furious.

I was exhausted from morning till night.

Are you watching the show next to you?
I’ll make a wooden plow later.

Let you work together!
Su Ming reached out and touched Er Gouzi’s wolf head, and said, ”Er Gouzi, when I build the wooden plow, I will teach you how to plow the ground.”

After Su Ming finished speaking, Er Gouzi was obviously taken aback.

Immediately, a ”woo hoo” rushed out.

Like a cheetah, it’s extremely fast!

Caught off guard, Su Ming was startled.

”Isn’t it just to let you do some work, as for what!”

Su Ming watched Er Gouzi disappear from his sight, dumbfounded.

After realizing what happened.

He was so angry that he cursed.

”Tell me to work and run away! This is still honest! Honest ass!”

Su Ming threw away the hoe in his hand and sat down on the ground with depression written all over his face.

Just now.

A familiar figure reappeared, like a cheetah, moving like a gust of wind!

”Ow!”

Er Gouzi came to Su Ming and put down the thing he was holding in his mouth.

Rubbed Su Ming’s leg flatteringly with the huge wolf head.

Su Ming was slightly taken aback, looking at the things Er Gouzi threw on the ground.

”Is this a strange beast?”

After Su Ming saw that thing clearly, a look of surprise appeared on his face.

”Ow!”

Er Gouzi rubbed Su Ming’s leg flatteringly.

Su Ming didn’t have time to pay attention to it.

”I’ll play with you later, business matters.”

Su Ming responded to Ergouzi, hurriedly took out the dagger, and began to dissect the strange beast it had hunted.

[Obtain a complete squirrel skin*1]

[Obtain chinchilla blood*3]

【Get a piece of fresh meat*3】

【Obtain squirrel bones*5】

This mouse-shaped beast is about the size of a cat.

It took Su Ming 10 minutes to finish processing.

Look at the flesh and bones in the backpack.

A look of joy appeared on Su Ming’s face.

Looking at Er Gouzi beside him.

Satisfied and authentic:

”This is only the first day, and you already know that you can support yourself! My little bitch!”
