The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System

Chapter 164: 164 - scarlet secret realm 02

”This place looks like some kind of fortress...”

Elder Wutian commented as they left the armory, soon finding themselves surrounded by stone walls in a corridor that seemed to have no end.

”And a dangerous one.” The other elder of the Serene Cloud Sect placed his hand on the wall, sending out a small pulse of IQ.

His eyes suddenly widened and he hastily withdrew his hand.

”What is it? Did you feel something?” Shuyin asked.

That elder was the only formations expert in the place. Naturally, seeing him so disturbed made everyone’s heart flutter.

”Yes.” The elder nodded and took a single step backwards, grabbing his disciple’s shoulders.

”We were quite lucky, this is the place where the scarlet dragon’s inheritance is, but the whole place is full of powerful formations. I don’t know if they’re dangerous or not, I need to study a bit more.”

”Hm...” Shuyin scratched his chin, his mind lost in thought before speaking.

”I know it’s normal for us to split up, but I think it would be better if we stayed together to avoid-”

Before he had even finished his sentence, the elders of the Burning Heart Sect had already turned their backs and disappeared over the horizon.

”Ah... Stubborn idiots.” Wutian shook his head, turning towards Qingxue.

”Elder Qingxue, I believe we should listen to Shuyin and...” Only then did Wutian notice the silver-haired beauty’s back moving away.

Qingyi thought that Shuyin was right and that they should stick together, but if his master wanted to split up, what could he do?

He exchanged a brief glance with Ruyan, admiring her beautiful blushing face before also turning to follow his master.

He would very much like to have a chance to be alone with her and win her for himself, but that could be left for later.

”Master seems in a hurry, is something troubling you?” Qingyi smiled as they walked away. ”I can help the master relax if you want.”

No longer sensing anyone’s presence, he wrapped his right arm around her waist, his hand going up to her breasts and squeezing until he heard a sweet, embarrassed moan.

”Nghnn~~ shameless disciple...” Qingxue shuddered in Qingyi’s arms.

She tried to resist and push him away, but in the end, she just lowered her blushing face in defeat.

”When you’re ready to advance to the Burning Blood Realm, you’ll understand. I need that bloodline.”

She gasped softly and, gathering her strength, finally managed to escape from her disciple’s arms.

”If I don’t get that bloodline, it could take me decades or even centuries to make a breakthrough, and I don’t have that much time.”

Qingxue’s voice regained some of its original coldness, a subtle glint of anger appearing on her face.

She took a quick step forward, leaving a confused Qingyi behind.

He was naturally well aware of the requirements for a breakthrough to the Burning Blood Realm.

In order to have a high chance of success, in addition to an extremely powerful cultivation room and a breakthrough pill, some kind of blood essence from a beast of the Burning Blood Realm or at least whose origin was related to a beast of the Burning Blood Realm or higher was also required.

Cultivators who had a lineage like Jinhai usually didn’t need these things, just their own lineage was enough.

But since Qingxue didn’t have a bloodline, she depended on either finding a beast of that level and being able to extract the blood essence from it, or getting the blood essence directly from an unawakened bloodline.

Both were extremely difficult to obtain and the opportunities to have them came along only once every few tens or hundreds of centuries.

That wasn’t something that worried Qingyi too much. With the system’s store, he wouldn’t have any difficulty with those things.

’But... why is she in such a hurry for it?’ A doubt arose in Qingyi’s mind, that doubt lasting until he finally remembered his first meeting with Feiyan.

Qingxue was a cultivator from the Xu family, one of the most powerful swordsman families on the continent and whose leader was only one step away from the Burning Blood realm.

She had come to the sect fleeing a forced marriage and as far as Qingyi knew, she had not yet officially cut ties with her family.

Even if the patriarch of the Xu family reached the Burning Blood Realm before her, he simply wouldn’t be able to do anything against her, not as long as Jinhai lived.

’Unless what she’s worried about is her fiancé’s family.’ Qingyi thought.

But who in the entire outer region of the Blue Moon Continent would be able to defy the Ascending Dragon Sect and force one of its strongest elders into a marriage?

”Master, the person your father wanted to force you to marry, is it someone from the Nine Peaks Basin?”

Qingxue suddenly stopped, her whole body shuddering as she clenched her fists. ”That’s my problem,” she said before resuming walking.

”No.” Qingyi embraced her from behind, his hands roaming her sensual curves as he pulled her against him.

”You’re my woman, that’s my problem too. It won’t be long until I reach the basin of the nine peaks, and when I do, I promise you, that son of a bitch will be the first one I kill.”

Those words sent a shiver down Qingxue’s spine, her already flushed face becoming even more fiery as her heart pounded.

Her rosy lips parted, but she didn’t have time to say anything.

A loud explosion echoed, followed by powerful Qi spreading throughout the fortress.

”That’s coming from the front,” Qingyi stepped back, grabbing his sword.

”The inheritance!” Qingxue shouted as she started running down the corridors, her body gripped by an intense gale as she activated her movement technique.

Qingyi followed close behind, activating his lightning steps.

They followed the trail of Qi, soon arriving at a large steel door.

Qingxue drew her double swords, her wind and sword Qi glowing around the blades as she cut the door in half, entering a large hall.

”You bastard!” a hate-filled roar echoed as one of the elders of the Burning Heart Sect advanced towards a colossal figure in front of him.

It was a dragon, identical to the statue they had entered to get to the secret realm.

Its scales glowed a blood red as its serpentine body, over fifty meters long, intertwined with the pillars that held the hall up.

There were already three bodies under the floor, all from the Burning Heart Sect.
