The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System

Chapter 106: 106 - Get out of my way

”Any news about the king?” Bao Heizi, the supreme commander of the royal forces, asked, arriving on the third floor.

”No, Lord Commander, the gates remain closed. We’ve already exterminated most of the Foundation Realm beasts in the area and swept the entire third floor. Nothing suspicious has been found.”

”Dammit...” Bao Heizi gritted his teeth, staring at the two gates in front of the Golden Mansion.

These gates would usually remain open until the maximum number of people entered or until the challenge to the fifth floor began.

He didn’t know much about the secrets of royal life, but he did know that the King had a certain level of control over the Stormy Secret Kingdom and was able to enter and leave it freely.

The fact that the king had entered the fourth floor and hadn’t returned obviously terrified him.

Bao Heizi had just been scolded by the High Queen in front of all the high nobility of the kingdom, and the First Prince seemed quite excited about the idea of using him as an example to strengthen his power over his brothers.

If the king didn’t return, as one of the main people responsible for protecting the royal family and the leader of its armies, it would be difficult for him not to end up taking some of the blame.

Sighing heavily, his worried eyes swept over all the soldiers around him.

The royal army had around one hundred thousand soldiers, with two hundred and fifty of them being in the Foundation Realm.

At his front were more than two hundred Foundation Realm experts, each one a great talent or a veteran soldier hardened by decades of war.

It was certainly one of the most formidable forces ever assembled in the Heavenly Thunder Kingdom since the last great revolt of the northern nobles forty years ago.

”Lord Commander! Something’s happening to the gates!” One of the Foundation Realm experts shouted, taking Bao Heizi’s attention.

’Finally, I’m safe!’ Heizi shouted in his mind, his eyes watching the gate open with interest, believing that that would be his king.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t his king who greeted him.

”They seem to have prepared a welcome party for me...” Qingyi raised his hand, covering his eyes from the brightness.

”You! Who the hell are you? Where is our king?” Bao Heizi roared, his gaze sweeping over Qingyi worriedly.

That was a handsome, striking young man. He had seen him briefly in the line to enter the city and felt his cultivation.

but now, he couldn’t feel anything, no matter how hard he tried, it was as if Qingyi didn’t even had a physical presence.

”Ah...” Qingyi exhaled, stretching his body gently before speaking: ”Get out of my way, go back to your families, kiss your wives, it’s not worth dying for this.”

Those words made Heizi’s blood run cold. His eyes met Qingyi’s and he shuddered.

After a moment’s hesitation, he roared: ”Formation! Capture that bastard alive!”

Qingyi shook his head and with a wave, the Heaven-Defying Thunder Sword appeared in his hands.

He gave those in front of him no time to react.

A powerful lightning sword Qi spread through his blade as he used the second form of the Storm Monarch Sword Art.

”Golden Core Realm!” Heizi’s eyes widened in shock, he tried to back away, but it was too late.

A line of blood appeared on his waist and his torso was thrown into the air, his last moments awake allowing him to see the torn bodies of his soldiers falling to the ground.

Qingyi smiled at the sight. If it had been a week ago, he would surely be dead, but now, these people were like ants in front of him.

With a wave of his hands, he went to store the Heaven-Defying Thunder Sword in his special ring, but Ruxue’s thunderous voice stopped him.

”DON’T YOU DARE PUT ME IN THAT DAMN PLACE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION AGAIN!” She roared, appearing beside Qingyi.

”Do you know what it’s like to be in a special ring? Why on earth do you think they generally prevent living beings from being put there?”

Her face was flushed with anger, making Qingyi scratch the back of his head.

Well, in his haste, he had indeed put her in his special ring without asking permission.

”I’m sorry... I didn’t think much of it.” He smiled awkwardly, drawing an irritated grunt from Ruxue.

”You should be.” She waved in the air, and a luxurious deep purple sheath appeared in her hands before she tossed it to Qingyi.

”Is this your original scabbard?” Qingyi asked, studying the beautiful patterns that surrounded the fine leather.

”A copy, but it’s better than that hell!” Ruxue spoke, without even giving Qingyi time to reply. Her body turned into a cloud of lightning, returning to the sword.

As Qingyi’s power increased, her own power increased through their connection, but she still needed to calm this new energy. Elemental spirits were much more sensitive to unstable foundations than humans.

Giving Ruxue time, Qingyi just left, slowly making his way down to the second floor.

The royal troops had blocked everything above the second floor, so he had to kill a few more people, but once he reached the second floor, he soon blended in with the other cultivators.

He rose above the trees, his senses spreading as his eyes focused on the center of the second floor.

Activating the Lightning Steps, his body disappeared, covering the distance of kilometers quickly, stopping only when he began to see dozens of warning signs.

He landed on the ground softly, before starting to walk. It wasn’t long before he heard a bestial roar and felt a powerful aura of the Golden Core Realm.

His sight soon landed on a well hidden among the trees, its opening large enough to swallow a dragon.

Qingyi stopped beside the well, looking down. Even when he activated his Draconic Eyes, all he saw was endless darkness, sensing powerful presences in the depths.

He sighed heavily, looking at his balance of Lust points.

still had around 10,000 points, a considerable amount, at least enough to be able to buy an escape talisman if things went wrong.

Calming his mind, he jumped, his body disappearing into the darkness.
