Tech Giants: Starting from Bankrupt Companies

277: Chapter 277 Stock Price Explosion9:30 AM, Shenzhen Stock Exchange

The moment the opening bell rang, hundreds of people in the trading hall held their breath simultaneously.

It wasn’t just ordinary quiet—it was that deathly silence before a storm.

Everyone’s eyes were fixed intently on the same screen.

Xinghuo Electronics

The numbers on the screen were frozen, as if under an immobilization spell.

150.00 rmb.

It hit the daily limit the moment it opened.

Increase: 10%

The moment this number popped up, the entire trading hall was like a powder keg being ignited.

”Holy sh*t—!!!”

I don’t know who roared first, but then the whole hall exploded.

Although stock trading is now electronic, many people still love the passion of the trading hall. Some people hugged complete strangers beside them, jumping and shouting. Some knelt on the ground, hands clasped together, muttering to the screen.

But what shocked everyone the most was the buy order at the bottom right.

5,287,643 lots.

5.28 million lots.

The trading hall suddenly went quiet for a second—that was the sound of everyone gasping in unison.

”Five... five million-plus lots?” A middle-aged analyst wearing gold-rimmed glasses took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes hard. ”This f*cking 75 billion rmb buy wall...”

The young man next to him felt his legs go weak and sat directly on the floor: ”75 billion... how many institutions are fighting for this?”

”It’s not institutions,” the analyst’s voice trembled. ”It’s that no one is selling.”

He pointed to the sell orders on the screen: ”See that? There are only 832 lots in the first sell order. In the entire market, only 80,000 shares are willing to be sold. The rest of the people won’t let go of a single cent.”

Stock investor Old Zhang stood in the center of the hall, his hands shaking.

He is fifty-five years old, with graying hair, wearing a gray jacket that had been washed until it faded. Having struggled in the stock market for thirty years, he has experienced five bull markets and four bear markets, lost an apartment, earned a car, and seen countless daily limits and crashes.

But he had never been like this before, his hands shaking so much he couldn’t even hold his phone steady.

”Old Zhang! Old Zhang, what’s wrong with you?” Big Liu beside him grabbed him.

Old Zhang shoved his phone screen into Big Liu’s face, his voice floating: ”I... I bought it at 100... now it’s 150...”

Big Liu leaned in to look, his eyeballs almost popping out: ”Holy sh*t! How much did you buy?”

”Eighty... eighty thousand shares...”

”Eighty thousand shares?!” Big Liu’s voice cracked: ”That’s twelve million? You f*cking have twelve million now?!”

Old Zhang’s lips trembled, unable to speak.

A young man next to him jumped up, almost throwing his phone away: ”I put all my net worth in! 2 million! Now it’s 3 million! One month! Earned 1 million in one month!”

He hugged his phone, kissing and biting it, the screen covered in saliva.

Someone popped champagne—really popped champagne. With a ”pop,” golden liquid sprayed onto the person next to him, but no one cursed; instead, they laughed loudly, scrambling to catch it with paper cups.

Someone was crying with their head in their hands—a middle-aged man in his forties, dressed in a suit, squatting in the corner, covering his face with both hands, his shoulders shaking violently.

Someone was crazily taking pictures of the screen, holding their phone higher than anyone else, and then posting to Moments:

”Witnessing history! Xinghuo Electronics hit the daily limit! My account +40%!”

Hundreds of comments flooded in instantly:

”Holy sh*t, master, take me with you!”

”Can I still get in now?”

”Brother, don’t forget your brothers now that you’ve struck it rich.”

Security guard Old Li stood at the door, his expression complex.

He had worked at the Shenzhen Stock Exchange for fifteen years. He had seen daily limits, seen crashes, seen people in the high-net-worth rooms carried out due to heart attacks, and seen retail investors faint on the spot due to liquidation.

But he had never seen a scene like this—hundreds of people, acting like they were crazy, crying, laughing, jumping, and screaming; the whole hall was livelier than a nightclub.

He took out his phone and sent a voice message to his wife:

”Wife, take a look at our account that bought 50,000 rmb of Xinghuo Electronics.”

Thirty seconds later, the phone rang directly, his wife’s voice sharp enough to pierce an eardrum:

”150?! 150?! Old Li, you’ve struck it rich!!!”

Old Li quickly moved the phone away, and after the roaring on the other end finished, he said slowly:

”Yeah, struck it rich. Don’t cook tonight, I’ll take you out to eat.”

Far away in Shanghai Municipality, 1,400 kilometers away, the atmosphere was equally fanatical.

Spark Technology

Opening price 4023.50 rmb.

Increase: 10%

As soon as this number came out, a synchronized chorus of ”Holy sh*t” rang out in the trading hall of the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Someone immediately pulled out a calculator and pressed it frantically: ”4023 rmb... it was only 2800 a little over a month ago, it’s up more than 1200 rmb...”

”That’s the buyback!” The person next to him was flushed with excitement, ”Su Chen took out 300 billion rmb in cash for the buyback! At that time, everyone was saying the bubble was going to burst, but he just smashed it with money!”

”300 billion, just taking it out like that, what kind of cash flow is this f*cking...”

”Did you watch the press conference? 263 billion USD in orders! Enough for them to eat for five years!”

The brokerage researcher WeChat group completely exploded.

Haitong Securities - Wang Jianguo: ”Urgent revision of the report! Spark Technology target price raised to 10,000 rmb! Maintain strong buy!”

CSC Financial - Zhang Wei: ”Old Wang, are you crazy? 10,000?”

Haitong Securities - Wang Jianguo: ”Did you not watch the press conference? 263 billion! USD! At the current exchange rate, that’s 1.8 trillion rmb! Enough for them to work for five years! I think 10,000 is conservative!”

CICC - Li Xiang: ”I just released my report, target price 5500. Old Wang, you’re more ruthless than me.”

Haitong Securities - Wang Jianguo: ”5500 is also reasonable. Anyway, 4000 is definitely not the top.”

Retail investor Little Liu silently watched the messages in the group, his finger hovering over the buy button for a long time, and finally, he jabbed it hard: ”Transaction! Spark Technology, 100 shares!”

402,350 rmb, just like that, gone.

He stared at the transaction record, his palms full of sweat, muttering to himself:

”President Su... God Su... please don’t let it fall...”

10:00 AM, Xingchen Headquarters Wealth Management Department

There was no hustle and bustle of the trading hall here, only dozens of large screens silently flickering.

But that silent shock was more powerful than any cheer.

In the center of the large screen, the real-time scrolling numbers were as stable as a heartbeat:

Xinghuo Electronics: 150.00 rmb x 20 billion shares = 3.00 trillion rmb

Spark Technology: 4023.50 rmb x 1.1 billion shares = 4.425 trillion rmb

Total: 7.43 trillion rmb

There was a line of small text in the bottom right corner of the screen, automatically converting to USD and updating the global market cap ranking in real-time:

1. Apple: 2.81 trillion USD

2. Microsoft: 2.53 trillion

3. Saudi Aramco: 2.12 trillion

4. Google: 1.71 trillion

5. Amazon: 1.52 trillion

6. Spark Group: 1.06 trillion

7. Tencent: 523 billion

8. Alibaba: 481 billion

9. Tesla: 453 billion

10. TSMC: 422 billion

In the Wealth Management Department, dozens of financial elites in suits and leather shoes sat at their respective workstations, but at this moment, no one was looking at their own screens.

Everyone was staring at the central large screen, motionless.

The only sound in the air was the humming of the air conditioner and the occasional sound of mouse clicks—someone couldn’t resist taking a screenshot.

”1.06 trillion...” Analyst Little Wang sitting in the corner muttered to himself, his voice so soft it was as if he was afraid of disturbing something, ”It’s surpassed Tencent plus Alibaba.”

”This is just the beginning,” Old Zhou next to him said, his voice filled with suppressed excitement, ”Based on the current P/E ratio, the reasonable valuation is at least 1.5 trillion.”

”1.5 trillion?” Little Wang turned his head, ”Doesn’t that mean it will surpass Amazon?”

”Maybe,” Old Zhou leaned back in his chair, looking at the numbers on the big screen, his tone complex, ”Maybe next year, the global number one on the screen in front of us won’t be Apple.”

No one refuted it.

Because everyone knew that the 263 billion USD order was just the beginning.

At the same time, a retail investor hall in Shenzhen

Old Zhang hadn’t left yet.

He sat on a plastic chair, refreshing his account over and over again.

Holdings: Xinghuo Electronics 80,000 shares

Cost price: 100 rmb (new share allotment)

Current price: 150.00 rmb

Market value: 12,000,000 rmb

Profit: 4,000,000 rmb

Four million.

In his life, he had never seen so many zeros.

His phone suddenly rang; it was a video call from his daughter.

”Dad! Did you see the news? Xinghuo Electronics hit the daily limit!”

Old Zhang held up his phone, facing the account on the screen: ”Daughter, Dad saw it.”

There was silence on the other end of the video for three seconds, then a scream erupted:

”Ah—!!! Dad, you’ve struck it rich!!!”

Old Zhang didn’t speak, just grinned foolishly.

”Dad, I want to buy that new HX2 phone...”

”Buy it!” Old Zhang slapped his thigh, ”Buy two! One for you, one for your mom!”

”Dad, you’re the best!”

Hanging up the video, Old Zhang stared at the screen for a long time again.

Then he stood up, walked to the window, and looked at the Shenzhen skyline outside.

Thirty years.

From the green young man who first stepped into the stock market to the old stock investor with white hair today.

Lost houses, earned cars, been trapped, been cut like a leek.

But today, he finally waited for it.

He took out his phone and sent a WeChat message to his wife:

”Wife, don’t cook tonight. I’ll take you out for something good, the most expensive kind.”

Thirty seconds later, his wife replied:

”Show-off. But... I like it.”

Old Zhang grinned.

Smiling like a twenty-year-old young man.
