“How disappointing. To think that we would encounter such a thing,” Ji Qingyan complained.

She was referring to both people on Rahman’s side and the people who came to their rescue.

Lin Yi felt that she couldn’t be blamed for feeling like this.

Such a thing happened during their beautiful Christmas. It was truly very disappointing.

An innocent person like Ji Qingyan would never be able to accept such a thing.

Lin Yi held her hand tightly and smiled.

“Have you ever seen Slum Dunk?”

“I know, but 1 didn’t read much of it. My brother and the others did watch the entire episode.” Ji Qingyan thought for a moment and said.

“I heard that they didn’t get first place in the end. They regretted it for a long time.”

Lin Yi smiled and nodded. “But the author said at the end that youth is often imperfect, just like our travels.”

“Hehe, 1 understand what you mean.”

Ji Qingyan held Lin Yi’s hand and said gently,

“Actually, I think everyone will regret it, but it’s precisely these regrets that made us what we are now.”

“Your regret is that you didn’t have parents since you were young, but it’s precisely because of this regret that your heart has become firm and resilient. That’s why you have so many achievements today. Therefore, having regrets isn’t a bad thing.”

“You’re smart. 1 like to chat with smart people like you. You understand immediately.”

“Alright, alright, stop praising me.”

Ji Qingyan narrowed her eyes and smiled. Embarrassed, she said,

“It’s already past three in the afternoon. Let’s go back too. We’ve had enough fun today. I’m a little hungry.”

“Bear with it. There are other things on the itinerary.”

“There’s more?”

“I’ll say it again. Don’t ask anything. Just follow me.”

Ji Qingyan knew that Lin Yi had a lot of ideas, so she did not probe further.

This hint of mystery was something to look forward to.

Thus, under Lin Yi’s lead, the two of them arrived at the docks of Doora.

Because there were a large number of artificial and private islands here, it was a gathering place for yachts and helicopters.

If you spent money here, you could go anywhere.

Looking at the surroundings, Lin Yi felt that although his Wangjiang Dock was top-notch in the country, it had a long way to go when compared to international standards.

At the very least, there was a gap between it and Doora.

The two of them rented a private helicopter and slowly ascended into the sky.

In the evening, the Doora landscape was dyed gold.

The towering buildings glistened under them. The golden beach and the white jade-like waves intertwined into a beautiful coastline.

This was especially true for the world-famous Palm Island of Doora. From the sky, it looked like a tree of life in full bloom amidst the blue waves-a miracle of architectural beauty.

‘Standing on the summit, all other peaks appear small’. The scene before them perfectly fit this poem.

Ji Qingyan was a little afraid of heights. As the plane flew higher and higher, her grip tightened.

“The next event you’re planning for me isn’t skydiving, is it?”

“We can try that, but it’s not today’s event.”

“No, I think 1’11 be scared to death.”

“If you want to dive, we can give it a try. I’ve wanted to do it for a long time.”

“But your swimming skills are quite ordinary. Are you sure you want to try this?”

“Who said that 1 have to dive by myself?” Ji Qingyan said matter-of-factly.

“If you don’t dive yourself, do you expect me to carry you?”

“That’s right. When the time comes, you can carry me on your back and cross the sea with me.”

“Let’s go down to the Five Oceans to catch turtles first. Then, we’ll go to the Nine Heavens to capture the moon. All this is on our to-do list. We can’t miss any of it.”

“It sounds like 1’11 be the one doing all the hard work.”

“Don’t worry about the details. Are you unwilling?” Ji Qingyan looked at Lin Yi and asked coquettishly.

“No, no.”

“Perform well. Don’t worry, I won’t treat you badly in the future.”

“Thank you so much.”

The helicopter cruised around for around half an hour. It was as if the sea had been scattered with gold as they flew around.

Finally, the helicopter touched down on the tarmac of a small island.

After getting off the plane, Ji Qingyan was at a loss.

She realized that most of her surroundings were covered in vegetation. The air was fresh and pleasant as the sea breeze blew past her ears. This feeling made every one of her pores relax.

Ji Qingyan looked into the distance.

She saw a three-story building. In terms of design, it was similar to Jiuzhou Pavilion. It was simple and stylish.

They could even hear the sound of a fountain. Coupled with the golden beach and coast in front of them, the scenery was beautiful.

Even so, she didn’t understand why Lin Yi brought her here.

“Are you planning to stay here tonight?”

Ji Qingyan felt that this was a possibility. After all, it was Christmas today, so it was only natural for them to find a better place to spend the night.

“Correct.”

“The scenery here is so good. It must cost a lot of money a night.”

Ji Qingyan did not really care about money and just asked this out of conversation.

“Enenen, in yuan, it’ll be about 400 million.”

“Huh?”

Ji Qingyan could no longer remain calm. “About 400 million yuan per night? Are you kidding me? Don’t think that I’ll believe you.”

“I’m sure it wouldn’t cost that much for a night’s stay, but I bought everything here, including the island itself. It cost me a little more.”

Ji Qingyan was stunned. She stared at him with her big, beautiful eyes, looking especially adorable.

“What did you say? You bought this island?”

Lin Yi nodded. “From now on, this island is your private property. How you plan to structure this place is all up to you.”

With that, Lin Yi took out a certificate from his clothes and handed it to Ji Qingyan.

“Look at this.”

He carefully opened the certificate. It looked similar to a real estate certificate.

The quality of the document was a little unique, but it was stamped with a public seal, indicating that it carried legal weight.

This was especially true for the name of the island. It was called ‘Ji Qingyan’!

In other words, the island’s name was now Ji Qingyan!

“From now on, this is our little island. It’s our private territory.”

Ji Qingyan was touched as tears streamed down her face. She finally understood that Lin Yi had prepared this as a Christmas gift for her.

“It’s all your fault. You made me cry again. My makeup is going to be ruined. Moreover, you didn’t tell me in advance. If this happens again, I won’t stay with you anymore.”

“What’s the point of telling you in advance? That would ruin the surprise.”

“The main thing is that if you had told me in advance, I would have been able to give it a nicer name. It’s got such an old-fashioned name now.”

Lin Yi,

It turns out she wasn’t crying because she was touched!
