I Get A Random New Occupation Every Week

Chapter 62: Chapter 062: The Beauty in the Shari

Ji Qingyan wasn’t surprised by Lin Yi’s words at all.

He was an orphan, and now that he had money, it made sense for him to want to give back to society.

This was the rarest thing about Lin Yi, and it was also the thing which Ji Qingyan found most special about him.

“The relevant departments are still very supportive of a public welfare organization like this, and they will extend a certain amount of support in terms of policies,”Ji Qingyan said.

“Even so, the relevant departments will have a set of very strict procedures during the later stages of operation when it comes to this sort of organization. If there isn’t a good CFO and COO running it, problems will no doubt arise.”

!!
“What problems?”

“For a public welfare organization, most of the money comes from public welfare donations. In order to prevent the founders from pocketing the money, there must be very detailed announcements of the income and support. Even if you buy a packet of instant noodles for the children in the mountainous areas, you must clearly write it out. This is relatively difficult.”

Ji Qingyan lowered her head. “People aren’t machines. There will always be things that we can’t take care of. If there’s a mistake, we’ll be blamed by society.”

“If I don’t accept donations from society and use my own money, would there be such a problem?”

“No, there won’t be, because these are your personal actions. It has nothing to do with anyone else. No one will have the right to blame you.”

“But you have to think carefully. This is a huge project, and even the government can’t handle it properly. It’ll be impossible for you to solve these problems by yourself.”

Ji Qingyan paused before continuing,

“Even if you are rich and can throw out a few hundred million, this amount of money is nothing to charity. It might not be effective at all. I’m not against you doing charity. On the contrary, I’m very supportive of it, but you have to think it through.”

“I understand what you’re thinking,” Lin Yi said. “Then do what you can and just try your best.”

“You’re amazing. I’m not as good as you,”Ji Qingyan said sincerely.

“You’re being too modest.”

“I’m not being modest. I don’t have such high awareness.”

“Don’t forget, I used to be in the sales department.” Lin Yi said with a smile.

“I remember when I first came to the company three months ago, Yu Lili told me in a meeting that you weren’t allowed to sell out the two buildings in Star City Homestead AB. In the end, I found out that you used these two buildings as low-rent apartments and rented them out to the migrant workers in Zhong Hai. It cost more than 200 dollars a month, which was almost like giving them away for free.”

“You people are too gossipy.”

Lin Yi smiled. “I don’t know much about this. You should help me find out more.”

“Alright then. If you really want to do it, I’ll give you 10 million. After that, we’ll work together.”

“Alright!”

After finishing his business, Lin Yi got up from the sofa.

“I’m leaving first. You should rest early too.”

“You’re already so rich, running Didi is just for entertainment. There’s no need to make yourself so tired. Why not go out for a walk when you have nothing to do?”

“Don’t worry, I’ve already made up my mind. I’ll work another day tomorrow and leave the day after tomorrow.”

“Leave the day after tomorrow? Will you be leaving Zhonghai in the future?”Ji Qingyan asked nervously.

“I’m going back to Yangcheng to take a look around. The last time I went back was half a year ago. I already miss them .”

Ji Qingyan rolled her eyes. “I don’t think I have anything to do the day after tomorrow.”

“Your hint is too obvious. You’ve already made yourself clear–Just say it if you want to come along.”

Ji Qingyan was embarrassed. “Who said I want to come along? I finally got some free time to myself, and I still have to go shopping.”

“Suit yourself.” Lin Yi waved his hand and prepared to go home to sleep.

“Hey.”

Ji Qingyan called out to Lin Yi from behind. “Be good and go home later. Don’t just fool around with your friends.”

“I don’t like those used girls. I’d rather take more orders for Didi if I had the time.”

“That’s more like it.”Ji Qingyan opened the door to send Lin Yi off. “Drive carefully on the road.”

“Got it.”

Lin Yi drove back to Jiuzhou Pavilion and took a comfortable bath before returning to his room to sleep.

In the morning, Lin Yi drove to the Peninsula Hotel.

He ordered some sea cucumber, bird’s nest porridge, crab roe buns, and a simple breakfast. Then, he played a few games before going out to play Didi.

Compared to before, Lin Yi’s luck was off the charts. He only took three orders and received two five-star reviews.

[Mission completed. Reward: 200,000 experience points.]

[Job completion: 85%. Reward: 500 million dollars!]

“F*ck!”

Lin Yi exclaimed when he saw the reward given by the system.

The reward was getting more and more amazing! This was so exciting!

He soon received the reward from the system on his bank card without any delay.

However, what Lin Yi cared about the most was the 85% job completion. Once he received another 5% , he could change jobs ahead of time.

But then again, in just two more days a week would have passed. There wasn’t much point in reaching 90% done ahead of time.

However, the most important thing was that he had to gun for the 100% final reward.

Changing jobs wasn’t the goal. Completing 100% job completion rate was the most important thing.

At his current rate, as long if he worked another week, it should not be a problem for him to get to 100% job completion rate.

He would just have to take things one step at a time.

It was just like what Ji Qingyan said, they were just experiencing life, so why would they tire themselves out so much?

Ring, Ring, Ring…

Lin Yi’s phone rang. It was Zhou Haitao.

“Lin, I’ve already contacted Pagani’s engineer yesterday. He’ll be at Zhong Hai today, and he can start the repainting work.”

“Alright then, I’ll drive the car to the Peninsula Hotel and leave the keys at the front desk. You can send someone to pick up the car.”

“Alright, Boss Lin.”

After driving the car back to the hotel, Lin Yi had a casual lunch. He left the car behind and took a cab to Chaoyang Group.

The Pagani was sent for repainting, and his poor Shari came in handy again.

The Shari was still in the car park, covered in a thick layer of dust. He had to clean it up later.

Ring, Ring, Ring…

Lin Yi’s phone rang. It was Ji Qingyan.

“Where are you?”

“I’m in the company parking lot. What’s up?”

“I’m at McKayle. I bought a lot of stuff. Come pick me up.”

“Later. The car’s dirty, so I’ll go clean it up first.”

“Come pick me up first. You can go wash it later. I have too much stuff right now.”

“I don’t mind,” Lin Yi said. “You’re a girl, but if you don’t even mind being dirty, then what’s there to be afraid of?”

McKayle wasn’t too far from Chaoyang Group, and it was only a ten-minute drive away.

Ji Qingyan stood by the side of the road, wearing black wide-legged pants and high-heels. Her black hair was tied behind her head, and she looked like a model.

“Get in the car.”Lin Yi said

“Huh? You drove Shari here?”Lin Yi asked

“What’s wrong? You don’t want to ride in a car made in China?” Lin Yi asked

“Stop talking nonsense.”

Ji Qingyan opened the car door and put the things in the back seat. “Let’s go back to the company first.”

“Okay, I’ll go wash the car first. I’ll send you back later.” Lin Yi said

“Okay, I’ll listen to you.”

Lin Yi drove the car and preapred to find a car wash company.

After Pagani fixed the car, Lin Yi sent it to Zhou Haitao, asking him to clean it up before storing it in the garage.

After driving for a few minutes, Lin Yi saw a relatively large car shop and drove over.

At this time, the employees of the car store were all gathered in front of a Silver Aston Martin V8.

“Bro, this car of yours isn’t cheap, right?” The fat boss said. “My car wash store can’t even pay for such a good car in even a year.”

The owner of the car was not old, he was only in his twenties. He wore a short-sleeved shirt and held a cigarette in his hand. Together with the tattoo on his arm, he looked very cool.

“It is indeed not cheap. It cost me more than two million. After that, I spent more than 500,000 on the coating. To tell you the truth, I have spent more than three million on the car in just over a month.”

“Awesome bro, you’re really willing to spend money.” The boss said, “With this car, once you drive it on the road, you’ll have a good chance of turning heads.”

“Do you even need to say that?” The young car owner said proudly.

“I’m not afraid to tell you that I bought this car for the purpose of hooking up with girls. Every day, when I stop at the entrance of the bar, the girls will pounce on me without even needing me to say anything.”

“That good?”

“Of course.” The owner of the car said with a cigarette between his fingers.

“Women nowadays, especially pretty ones, are all snobbish. You drive a supercar, and they tell you it’s hot as soon as they get in, but if you drive a lousy Shari, they won’t even look at you. That’s reality.”

Just then, Lin Yi drove the car to the entrance of the car wash.

“Boss, please wash the car.”

What a coincidence. He was just saying that a little Shari wouldn’t be able to get a woman, and now here she was.

After greeting her, Lin Yi and Ji Qingyan unbuckled their seatbelts and got out of the car.

The moment they saw Ji Qingyan…

The world went silent.

Why would such a woman get out of a Shari Car?

Moreover, it was such a shabby Shari?
