The Witcher: Evolution

Chapter 23 Free Mercenary GroupChapter 23 Free Mercenary Group

”This snow-white shield is very suitable for you to fight!”

With that said, Stefan took out Aina’s witchcraft weapon and threw it to Zhan.

”This is actually a first-level witch weapon, the Snow Light Shield. Coupled with my first-level cross sword, my combat power will definitely soar.”

Zhan was not polite either. He hurriedly took the shield and looked it over before putting it directly into the space ring.

”This gravity wand is still a bit low-level, so I’d better give it to Cass.”

With that said, Stefan took out Irene’s witchcraft staff and gave it directly to Cass. In Stefan’s opinion, such a witchcraft weapon might not be of much use to Dunba and Alice.

”Third brother, you are so generous. I swear I love you to death.”

Cass was as happy as a child and couldn’t help hugging Stefan and giving him a kiss. In fact, Cass had long been interested in Erin’s witch wand, but she didn’t have enough pocket magic stones to buy one. A witch wand with gravity would cost at least 1000 magic stones!
”Welcome Stefan!”

Alice was the first to raise the red wine, with a smile on her beautiful cheeks. As she slowly stood up, revealing a snow-white robe, which outlined graceful curves, making the already beautiful Alice even more extraordinary.

”cheers!”

Stefan, Alice, Cass, Dunba, and Zhan all had cheerful smiles on their faces. The delicious food could really conquer everyone. After drinking a glass of red wine, the five of them feasted on it.

Alice was the first to drink a bowl of delicious mushroom soup. Looking at the colorful mushrooms in the bowl and the rich aroma, Alice showed a sweet and satisfied smile.

”This turkey is really delicious.”

Zhan directly grabbed a turkey, then pulled off a chicken leg, handed it to Cass, and then ate the turkey.

”Thank you”

Cass took the turkey leg with a naive smile. This was the first time that Cass felt the warmth of a friend. Although Cass had a noble status in the past, he had always been confined to the baron’s castle. In addition to his embarrassing status, his brothers and sisters were not interested. I like him, but I have no friends in my life.

”Cass, try this foie gras. It tastes very good.”

Stefan chewed heavily, and at the same time he did not forget to offer Cass a piece of foie gras.

”Thank you bro!”

”Aren’t you still here? Show off your masculinity. You will be the heir to the baronet in the future.”

Stefan encouraged.

”No, no, no! Third brother, you are the best heir to the Baron.”

Cass suddenly became panicked. This topic was completely taboo for Cass. He had never dared to think about it in these years. He always walked on thin ice in everything, and lived cautiously.

”Oh? Oh my god, are you the Baron’s sons?”

Zhan Cai reacted with surprise on his face.

”I also asked which family’s young master is willing to be the one who is taken advantage of?”

Dunba also laughed.

”Isn’t that obvious?”

Alice rolled her eyes at Dunba and Zhan, obviously Alice had already figured it out.

”I am optimistic about you. There is a vast world outside. My world should not be limited to this.”

Stefan patted Cass on the shoulder and affirmed.

”But...” ”Don’t worry! I will pave the way for you. In addition, from now on, you may be the only son left by your father’s side, so you have to be filial.”

”I will be filial to my father.”

”Alice, Dunba, I have an unkind invitation. I wonder if you are willing to do it.”

At this moment, Stefan stood up and said solemnly.

”You want us to teach Cass witchcraft?”

Alice is such a smart person, she naturally understands Stefan’s intention.

”is it okay?”

”Me?” Tears shone in Cass’s eyes. What he didn’t expect was that this third brother was so concerned about his affairs. Cass was so moved at this moment.

”Of course, Cass has a good talent, but he is a little timid and needs more experience.”

Alice and Dunba looked at each other with affirmative looks.

”Ding! Alice’s favorability +1, current favorability is 21”

”Ok?”

Stefan looked puzzled, did you add it like this?Could it be that Alice thinks I’m a nice person and would put myself in my brother’s shoes?
”You all know who Cass and I are, what about you?”

Stefan feels that as a best friend, there shouldn’t be too many secrets, especially about identity.

”The three of us are orphans.”

Alice said this, took a sip of mushroom soup, then lowered her head and began to talk.
The three of them did not belong to Frank City, but to the nearby Donbas City. All three of them were orphans. Originally there were more than a dozen orphans like them, and they were all taken in by a kind-hearted old lady.Under the meticulous care of the old lady, they thrived. Just a few years ago, they all reached the age of 12 one after another and faced the talent test.

At that time, the baron of Donbas was cruel and cruel, oppressing the people, and even started a trafficking deal with Warcraft, so orphans like them were the first targets to be trafficked. Alice was not convinced and led her friends to resist. But facing the powerful baron, what can they do?
The old lady couldn’t bear to hold back the baron’s men, and a group of children escaped. In the end, Alice and others watched the old lady die tragically under the sword of Baron Donbas.Since then, the three of them vowed to avenge the old lady, so they began to live a wandering life.

By chance, they came to Frank City, learned witchcraft and knight skills, and established a free mercenary group. Their lives were tight. Over the years, they continued to practice and strengthen themselves, but they had an obsession in their hearts. Support them to move forward.

”This baron of Donbas is really hateful. I will definitely blow his head off with you in the future.”

Stefan looked angry. He couldn’t stand those who bully the weak.

This night, the five of them drank a lot, perhaps to vent their frustrations, or perhaps to complain about the unfairness of fate, but they knew that the future should be in their own hands.
The next morning.

”No, no, when releasing elemental witchcraft, the most important thing is accuracy, otherwise the magic power will be wasted.”

On the ring, Dunba placed a puppet for testing in front of Cass. Dunba patiently taught Cass.At this moment, Cass’s eyes were covered with a ribbon, while on the other side, Zhan picked up the puppet and placed it in a random position.

This is a test of Cass’s ability to hear sounds and identify positions. Because the battle venue and time are uncertain, the training must start with the more difficult ones.

”Yes! Concentrate your mental power, recite the incantation silently, spread your palms, and use your mental power to activate fire-attribute witchcraft.”

”It’s really fun.”

Stefan also listened here with great interest. In fact, Stefan still knew very little about wizards. There will definitely be various wizards in his future opponents. Understanding the mechanism of wizards releasing witchcraft can be of great help to Stefan. to an advance judgment.

During this half day, Dunba and Alice took turns, constantly telling Cass some witchcraft-related knowledge, while Stefan listened meticulously.

Generally speaking, witchcraft is divided into many types, including elemental witchcraft, mechanical witchcraft, insect witchcraft, control witchcraft, curse witchcraft, poison witchcraft, necromancy witchcraft, etc.

A wave of small climax has just passed. This period is a transition period, and the next wave of small climax will begin soon!
