The Witcher: Evolution

Chapter 18 Skeleton WizardChapter 18 Skeleton Wizard
”It’s so cold here.”

Cass shuddered, feeling the biting coldness of the wind, as if it was going to penetrate every inch of his skin, and an eerie and terrifying aura filled the air.It was completely dark all around, and even if there were torches to illuminate it, there was still only a small area of light. In the darkness, you can vaguely hear sparse sounds, which makes people shudder, as if they are in a netherworld, and countless man-eating beasts will rush out at any time.

”How long have we been walking? According to common sense, it should be dawn.” Stefan frowned.

”Yes”

As soon as these words came out, the three of them looked at each other with shock on their faces.

”War! You can take Cass and me and leave separately. I don’t want to implicate you.”

Stefan sighed.

”Hey! Still not brothers?”

”Yes, third brother, you have always been protecting us.”

”I killed the Ganoderma witch doctor, and the beast king here has issued a killing order, so you will only be in endless trouble if you follow me. If you go on your own, you may still survive.”

”But”

”No but, besides your third brother, I also have the means to save my life.”

Stefan patted Cass on the shoulder, and then said to Zhan: ”Brother, after I get out, am I qualified to join you?”

”You are so qualified.”

”Okay! Please protect my little brother. See you again when we are destined.”

With that said Stefan was about to rush into the night.

”Do you think you can get away?”

A strange voice sounded in the dark night. The voice was extremely cold, as if it was a ghost coming out of hell, and then groups of black shadows floated over. These black shadows were all wearing black cloaks, with their soles off the ground, and they moved automatically in the absence of wind. They are not tall, less than one meter in height. From a distance, they look like pieces of black robes floating around.

”Oops! We have broken into the territory of the Skeleton Wizard!”

Zhan showed a solemn expression, his eyes fixed on the skeleton wizard who was outflanking him.

There is a rumor about the skeleton wizards. They have always lived in the mountains. Their race is the dwarves. They are less than one meter tall and look small and exquisite. It is said that the ancestors of the dwarves offended a powerful wizard and received a terrible curse. Since then, , the offspring born are all skeletons. It is said that skeleton wizards like to suck people’s souls and feed on human flesh, so their souls and bones are very powerful.

”Skeleton wizard?”

Stefan’s face didn’t look good either. These skeleton wizards were all wearing black robes, with only a skull exposed. In the empty eye sockets, green will-o’-the-wisps danced, and the exposed hands were bone claws. , this bone claw is wrapped in two green balls of will-o’-the-wisp, looking extremely eerie and terrifying. They smiled strangely, and their mouths made clicking sounds from time to time.

”So many of them are first-class apprentice witches?”

Cass looked shocked, it seemed that he was really in danger this time.

”What do you want?”

Zhan knew that this was the most dangerous place in Area A. It had been classified as a restricted area and a place where no mercenary group dared to set foot.

”Yes, he is actually a second-level knight.”

The leader of the skeleton wizard was holding a walking stick with several small skulls hanging on it. He looked at the battle and said coldly.

”I only want this person and you leave immediately.”

The skeleton wizard pointed at Stefan coldly, with empty eyes, blue and deep, and the skeleton could not see any fluctuations in expression, like a god of death, pronouncing Stefan’s death.

”No! He is my brother, I must take him away.”

Zhan is also extremely powerful, although he is also afraid of this skeleton wizard clan. With so many first-grade trainee witches, and this skeleton wizard leader, their strength has reached the level of a second-grade witch disciple.

”Do you think you have that ability?”

The wizard leader chuckled, his voice slightly sarcastic and cold.

”What about the two of us?”

At this moment, in the dark night in the distance, two groups of lights lit up. Alice and Dunba came slowly. They held the two groups of flames high in their hands, like true gods in the night, stepping out of the darkness step by step. He came over with murderous intent.

”Alice!”

At this moment, a warm current emerged in Stefan’s heart. Seeing Alice again, Stefan felt an indescribable feeling of intimacy.Today, Alice is wearing a moon-white robe. She steps out with her slender legs and breaks through the darkness. A gust of wind blows by, making her white robe rustle. Her straight hair flies in the wind, making her temperament even more ethereal. .

”Ding! Alice’s favorability +10, current favorability is 20!”

”What’s going on? Didn’t he come to save me? Why did my favorability increase?”

”Warrior Stefan, from now on, you are already a member of our free mercenary group.”

Alice walked up to Stefan and patted Stefan on the shoulder.

”Actually, we have been secretly observing you kid. When we met the three-mouthed hypnotic frog, you still did not give up on your teammates, which shows that you are a friend worth making.” Dunba also praised repeatedly, with a strange smile on his pale cheeks.

”Are you sure you want to go together?”

The skeleton wizard smiled sinisterly, his words full of threats.

”The Free Mercenary Group, fight for freedom, never abandon your teammates, live together and die together.”

Alice, Zhan, and Dunba shouted the slogans of the mercenary group.

”Okay! If we want to live together, we will live together, and if we want to die, we will die together.”

”Ding! Congratulations to the host for lighting up the Iron-Blooded Brothers icon, and you will be rewarded with a first-level defense inscription. Please confirm the inlay location!”

”Left leg inlaid!”

”Ding! Left leg tentacle, defense 11, speed 1, strength 10, resistance 0, stretch 10, level 0”

Stefan’s blood boiled with enthusiasm. This was the second time he came to this world and felt warmth. The first time was from Kailin, and the second time was from this group of teammates.

”In that case, send the witch formation!”

”Hee hee hee”

”I will open your skulls, suck your brains, absorb your souls, and eat your bodies.”

Suddenly, countless skeleton wizards screamed, flying up and down like rag bags, directly toward Stefan and others, surrounding them. Powerful mental power fluctuations intertwined into a network, and terrifying magic power fluctuations threatened from all directions. Coming under pressure.

”shhhhhh”

Then these skeleton wizards stamped their witchcraft staffs on the ground, bursting out streaks of black light. Soon, a huge polygonal witchcraft formation flashed with strange black light, rising from the ground to form a polygonal witchcraft formation.

In an instant, these skeleton wizards disappeared from the field, and a sinister wind suddenly blew up. Strange skulls emerged from the ground one after another, carrying strange black mist, dancing in the sky, biting towards the five people with their mouths biting. .

”Ding! Mission tip: You can get 100 points by cracking the witch formation.”

”This is the Necromantic Array. It can summon countless dead spirits to fight. You must be careful.”

As she spoke, Alice moved her body, pressed her palms forward, and the holy light suddenly surged.

”It’s actually light witchcraft?”

Stefan was shocked. He didn’t expect Alice to be so powerful and use light witchcraft.really! To deal with undead curses and the like, the light system is the best way to restrain them.

”Holy Light!”

”Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa”

Suddenly, auspiciousness fell from the sky, and five rays of holy light fell from the sky, directly covering Stefan and others. The five people instantly became extremely powerful, like five gods, their whole bodies bloomed with brilliance, and their holy power surged.

”Ahhh”

With the suppression of the Holy Light, the fog of skeletons and ghosts in the sky began to wail pitifully, being contaminated by the Holy Light and instantly annihilated.

”You break the formation as soon as possible. I won’t be able to hold on for long with this kind of mental energy consumption.”

Alice prompted. At this moment, Alice was as holy as an angel. She spread her hands and endless holy light illuminated the space.

”Hoo Hoo Hoo”

The skull that had just climbed out of the ground instantly turned into a ball of black water when illuminated by this holy light.

”Spirituality”

A strange voice sounded, and instantly a stream of black light shot directly towards the five people.

”Holy halo!”

Alice shouted loudly, and a golden light burst out from her eyes. At this moment, she was extremely holy, her body was filled with golden glow, and five haloes floated out in an instant, directly covering the five people.

”Zizzi”

The halo floated up and down, and when the black light touched the halo, it was annihilated inch by inch.

”Firebird Technique.”

Dunba’s body moved for a while, and the witch staff in his hand was a little bit in the air. In an instant, flames surged, and a big flaming bird condensed in mid-air.

”ga”

The big flame bird screamed strangely and flapped its wings. In an instant, the area turned into a sea of fire, and the terrifying high temperature baked the ghost array.
