The Witcher: Evolution

Chapter 12 Assessment of the Mercenary GroupChapter 12 Assessment of the Mercenary Group
The streets are bustling with traffic and extremely prosperous. You can see the magnificent castles located in every corner of the city. On the wide roads, people are passing by in a hurry.

”Welcome warrior!”

At this moment, Stefan and Cass came to a store. This store was not big, covering about a hundred square meters in total. The furnishings inside were relatively simple, and beautiful classical music was playing in the store.

A girl of fifteen or sixteen years old was sitting at the reception desk. She was wearing a fiery red dress. She was tall and had straight golden hair spread over her shoulders. She had big eyes, arched eyebrows, and sexy red lips. , that snow-white skin is even more breakable.

Even Stefan, who has two lifetimes of experience, is attracted by this beautiful woman. She is really stunning. I am afraid that even the goddess level looks so dim in front of her. She is wearing a light smoky makeup and shaking her hands. Hold a red wine glass and taste the red wine elegantly.

Name: Alice
Race: Terran

Gender: Female
Occupation: Second-level witch disciple, second-level knight
Age: 15
”This is the Free Mercenary Group. How can I help you?”

Alice stared intently at the red wine glass, with a slightly lazy look on her face. The sound of silver bells emitted from her red lips slightly opened, and this sound alone can make people endlessly daydream about it.

”Not bad, they are all Level !”

Stefan exclaimed in admiration. At such an age, someone who can reach the second-level witch disciple is definitely the best among his peers. The key is that the opponent is still a second-level knight. With such a combination, it is impossible to be too outstanding.

”you are?”

Alice raised her head and looked at Stefan and Cass up and down with slightly indifferent eyes. Cass was a first-class trainee witch, she could see through it at a glance, but she couldn’t figure out the man in the dark blue robe.

The mercenary group is nothing more than a team that uses money to help others eliminate disasters. On weekdays, they go into fierce places to hunt monsters in exchange for money. They also undertake some killing tasks, protection tasks, escort tasks, etc. As long as the other party is willing to pay, the mercenary group They are all willing to accept it, because the people here are all desperadoes, living a life of licking blood from the edge of a knife.

”Hello, my name is Stefan, and this is my brother Cass. Are you still recruiting people for your mercenary group?”

Stefan stretched out his hand and asked sincerely.

”Are you a modified body?”

Seeing the calm look in the other person’s eyes, Alice showed a hint of surprise. In her eyes, modified bodies are all trash. After genetic fusion modification, it is completely impossible to practice witchcraft, and the modified organs and limbs are not like normal people at all, so it is difficult to even practice knighthood.

”Of course, but are you sure you want to join?”

Alice stretched out her snow-white hand, revealing her slender fingers. Before her hand was stretched out, there was a light body fragrance that was intoxicating. She shook hands with Stefan skillfully.

”Ding! Alice is bound successfully!”

”Ding! Alice, the current favorability is 0. When the opponent’s favorability reaches 90 points and successfully counterattacks, the opponent will fall deeply in love with the host and reward 9000 points. When Alice’s favorability reaches 100 points , the other party is willing to love the host more than himself, and is even willing to die for the host, and is rewarded with 20000 points.”

”I” Stefan almost burst out. He really didn’t expect that the system was so unreliable and the missions were all weird. But when he saw such a huge number of points, Stefan was actually a little surprised.

”System! You are so boring!” Stefan cursed secretly in his heart.

”You just say whether you want to accept it or not?”

”catch!”

”Warrior! First of all, I am very grateful for your trust in the Free Mercenary Group, but our Free Mercenary Group is not so easy to join.”

Alice smiled faintly, her confident eyes looking so noble and elegant.

”Do you need an assessment?”

”First, you must defeat a member of our mercenary group. Second, we will take you into Omelas Mountain to hunt demons. If you can survive, and only if the members of our mercenary group pass it unanimously, can you officially join our mercenary group. corps.”

”Then when can the first assessment be arranged?” ”Are you so anxious? But our members are all on task, so I’m afraid they will be recalled at a loss.”

Alice’s eyes bloomed with golden light, and she hesitated to speak.

”This is 1000 magic stones. Have you seen enough?” Stefan said and took out a silver card.

”you sure?”

”Ding! Alice’s favorability +5”

When Alice saw Yinka, she was shocked at first. In fact, their mercenary group had no business for half a year. Now that Frank City has Baron Kelin in charge, it is extremely peaceful, causing the mercenary group in the city to collapse and disperse. scattered, so these 1000 magic stones are definitely a timely gift.

But Alice will definitely not say this, and will naturally pretend that they are very busy, and take the opportunity to drive up the price. Who knows that a fool came today, and the price is 1000 magic stones. In today’s world, it may be difficult to make money in a year. How could Alice not be surprised to see these magic stones?

”It seems that all women like money!” Stefan sighed secretly in his heart. Looking at the other party’s eyes as if he was taken advantage of, Stefan didn’t care. Anyway, it was not his magic stone. If there was no more magic stone in time, wouldn’t he still have it? Is there such a thing as big brother Chido?
”Uh-huh! I’ll make arrangements for you right now, please come this way!”

Soon following Alice’s guidance, Stefan and Cass came to a dilapidated arena venue. Everything here was covered with dust. It was obvious that the glory of the past no longer existed.

”Hello sponsor! These are members of our Free Mercenary Group. Please allow me to introduce them one by one.”

”This is Zhan”

Alice came to a burly man. He was wearing silver armor and holding a cross sword. This man was tall and thick, with a rough appearance, which gave people a sense of humor. His muscles were full of explosive power. He looked like a knight at first glance.

Name: war
Race: Terran

Sex: Male
Occupation: Level Knight

Age: 18
”This is Dunba.”

Then Alice came to Dunba. He was a tall and thin man. He was wearing a black robe and carried a long sword on his back. He had a weird smile on his face. His whole face was pale and pale, like It looks like a dead soul, and it is obviously the owner who has raised the accompanying witch bugs.

Name: Dunba

Race: Terran

Sex: Male
Occupation: First-grade apprentice witch, second-grade knight
Age: 17
”These three are not simple.”

Seeing this, Stefan frowned slightly. Among the three, Alice is the most powerful, with a dual-type level two, followed by Dunba, but Dunba looks extremely weird, and there may be a powerful accompanying witch insect. , so the strength should not be underestimated, and this battle seems to be very explosive, and I am afraid it is not an easy master to deal with.

”Let’s do this, Lord Funder, as long as you randomly select a member and remain undefeated for an hour, you will be considered as passing the first assessment.”

”An hourglass?”

Stefan then remembered that most people use hourglasses here to measure time, and one hourglass is about 10 minutes.

”Okay! Then I choose to fight!”

Stefan pointed at the burly man on the stage.

”Please advise.”

Soon the others left the stage and Stefan stepped onto the ring.
