Starting from the Wizarding World

Chapter 224: The Fall of the Machine NationChapter 224: The Fall of the Machine Nation
”wizard?”

Several top Old Ones immediately recognized the person coming as a wizard, and their reactions varied.

Shabu, the Black Goat of the Forest, was still extremely lazy, with no intention of sitting up straight, while Msissa, the Lord of Tindalos, seemed to sense the threat from the wizard in front of him, and the hair on his body stood up slightly.

’Lord of the Gate’ Yuger suddenly felt a surge of rage, but it was quickly suppressed by his normal master personality and he calmed down again.

In the end, it was Nyarlathotep’s ’Dark Man’ incarnation who took the initiative to speak: ”I recognize you. You should be called the Legendary Scholar, right? The youngest scholar of the [Tower of Omniscience] in the wizarding world, and the eighteenth lord of the [Prison Court]. But I remember that you should not be that strong...”

Nyarlathotep’s tone was a little doubtful, because although He recognized Rorschach, the information did not completely match.

In fact, the top Old Ones like them know much more about the wizarding world than most wizards.

The vast majority of wizards mentioned here also include the vast majority of the Great Moon Wizards.

The reason for this is, of course, because we are always on guard against surprise attacks from the wizarding world. Only by knowing ourselves and the enemy can we be invincible.

Among these camps surrounding the wizarding world, which one is not on guard against the overlord of this era?
Therefore, it is normal for Nyarlathotep to recognize Rorschach.

As a top Old One who loves to play with the human world, the scope of his activities goes far beyond Oldlington or the small worlds of the Old Ones camp.

Whether in the wizard world, in the ancient trees, the star gods, the kingdom of machines, or other camps, there are always traces of His presence.

It’s just that He usually doesn’t reveal His identity, especially when He is in the wizarding world, He dares not reveal it.

But this does not affect the fact that he knows a lot of information about the wizarding world.

”Lord Nyar has also heard of my name?” Rorschach looked at Nyarlathotep’s ’Dark Man’ incarnation and said in surprise.

But his surprise was definitely fake.

This was not his first time in Old Lington, nor was it his first time dealing with these Old Ones. How could he not understand their characteristics?

Especially Nyarlathotep. The last time he met him, he was not like this at all. Instead, he appeared directly in the form of his true form of Purgatory, which scared Nyarlathotep to death at that time.

Because Nyarlathotep had seen the Lord of Purgatory, and not only that, the thing he could not forget the most happened to be the Source!
In front of the ’Source’, this top Old One’s performance was completely different from what it is now, and was far from being as carefree as it seems now.

”Of course, you are a well-known figure in the wizarding world,” Nyarlathotep shrugged. ”But why would a figure like you appear in Oldlington? Aren’t you afraid that we will keep you here forever?”

”You should understand that although we don’t have any real hatred towards the wizarding world, we don’t have any good feelings towards it either. In addition, you were one of the witnesses of what happened before, so you should be familiar with it, right?”

”But I remember that Old Warrington should be a very tolerant place. Could it be that it can’t accommodate anyone?” Rorschach laughed.

”Oh?”

Several top Old Ones immediately understood what Rorschach meant, and Shab, the Black Goat of the Forest, asked in surprise, ”You mean you want to settle down here?”

”Not only me, but also some of my men.” Rorschach said.

”【Blood Knight】?” Nyarlathotep was more and more surprised.

”That’s about right. Blood Knight is also a part of it.” Rorschach did not deny Nyarlathotep’s guess.

”May I ask why?” Nyarlathotep continued, ”I’m not doubting you, but your status in the wizarding world is not low, and you wouldn’t be strange staying anywhere. Why did you choose to come to Old Warrington?”

”People with different ideals cannot work together.”

Rorschach spoke calmly, and also recounted the conflicts that occurred because of the Eighteenth Blood Prison, without any exaggeration throughout.

“I see.” Nyarlathotep nodded.

He didn’t think Rorschach was lying, because even if he didn’t understand such a major event now, he would soon understand it.

So what Rorschach said about these things should be true.

“What do you say?” Nyarlathotep looked at the other top Old Ones.

”No problem.” The main personality of ’Master of the Gate’ Yuge said calmly.

”It’s just one more neighbor. What’s the big deal?” Shabu, the ’Black Goat of the Forest’, shrugged.

”You... are very strong. Would you like to have a fight with me if there is a chance?” ’Lord of Tindalos’ Msisha had already challenged Rorschach in advance.

What interests Him most is always fighting.

So He had no suggestions on whether to let Rorschach stay or not, He just wanted to have a good fight with Rorschach.

”No problem.” Rorschach would not refuse.

”Then let’s decide it this way. You can stay and I will find you a blank area.” Nyarlathotep finally made the decision.

”Thank you very much.” Rorschach immediately bowed.

”You’re welcome. Like you said, Old Lingdon is not that strict. We are just a group of wanderers.” Nyarlathotep shook his head.

Soon, Nyarlathotep created an incarnation and took Rorschach away with him.

After Rorschach left, Shab, the Black Goat of the Forest, asked Nyarlathotep, ”Do you really believe what he said?”

Nyarlathotep: ”Why not? Besides, we have come to this point. There is no need for us to be timid. If those thrones really want to plot against us, then let them come... It’s just a carnival before the end of the world. It’s not certain who needs to worry more.”

”Well said!” Msissa agreed.

For Him, even if a war breaks out with the wizarding world tomorrow, He will not be afraid at all.

In this way, Rorschach soon settled down temporarily in Old Warrington.

Moreover, whether it was the people from the Blue Water Star or the Blood Riders, they basically all followed him here.

What Rorschach didn’t expect was that he thought there would be some people in the Blood Knights who were unwilling to leave with him.

But in the end, he found that all the core cadres of the Blood Knights chose to go with him, and only a few ordinary members chose to stay.

Rorschach did not force it and just let the man go.

However, they were also informed that from now on they would have no connection with the [Blood Knights] and would not have a second chance.

As a result, only a single digit number of people chose to stay.

It is worth mentioning that not long after Rorschach settled in Old Warrington, another major event happened in this world!
The Machine Country camp... was destroyed! It is said that there are three and a half camps around the wizarding world, and the half of them refers to the Machine Country camp.

As for why it can only be considered half, it is mainly because the strongest person in the Machinery Country camp is much inferior to the other strongest people.

It’s not that its strength is weak, but that some deviations occurred during its evolution, which gave it more flaws than other powerful ones.

Even though beings like ’Lord of the Gate’ Yuge have mental problems, these problems are not serious and are not considered weaknesses.

Therefore, He is still considered the strongest, and His strength is no weaker than other strongest beings.

The one from the Machinery Country camp was not so lucky.

In this case, the Machinery Country camp is naturally weaker than the other three ring wizard camps, but it is not too much weaker.

However, no one expected that the huge Mechanical Kingdom camp would be directly destroyed, and at present, the only one who can do this is the wizarding world.

The inside story was soon revealed.

It turns out that the reason why the wizarding world launched this blitzkrieg so abruptly was mainly to make up for the failure of the previous plan.

After releasing Bai, who had asked for trouble, the pressure on the wizarding world suddenly increased.

Because they know that it won’t be long before they face bloody revenge from Bai, and most likely it will be indiscriminate.

In this situation, they had no choice but to prepare more measures.

Destroying the Mechanical Country camp is part of their subsequent plan.

The purpose of doing this is certainly not to show how powerful the wizarding world is, but to gain tangible benefits.

After destroying the Machinery Kingdom camp, the Machinery Throne, as one of the Nine Thrones, inherited everything from the Machinery Kingdom very completely, including everything about the half-strongest one who had gone wrong on the road of evolution.

The Mechanical Throne is originally a genuine rule-level one, and it is also the best among the rule-level ones. Now it has completely taken over everything from the Mechanical Kingdom. I believe it won’t take long, as long as it can be fully digested, to make further progress!
By then, the fourth most powerful person will be born in the wizarding world!
Although the Heart Throne is now missing, even if it is abandoned, the wizarding world will once again have three most powerful people!
Faced with this sudden change, the other three camps around the wizarding world could no longer sit still.

As the saying goes, the lips and teeth are interdependent, even though they know very well that the wizarding world destroyed the Mechanical Kingdom camp in order to allow the Mechanical Throne to move one step further.

But who can guarantee that there won’t be other reasons next time?
Once the wizarding world has another powerful person, if the other three camps continue to fight each other, it will be doomed to be a tragedy.

So, soon the three camps began to take action.

They were not sure what the wizarding world would do next, but that did not stop them from taking precautions in advance. In the end, they chose to discuss the matter in Old Warrington in order to reach a substantive offensive and defensive alliance.

Obviously, the originally loose alliance was no longer sufficient to deal with the subsequent crisis.

*********
Time flies.

In the blink of an eye, a hundred years have passed since the demise of the Machinery Country camp.

This time span of one hundred years is a lifetime for ordinary people, but it is not that long for extraordinary creatures.

Take wizards for example. They don’t even need to be great wizards at the Moon Level. Even for Morning Star wizards, a hundred years is nothing.

However, for Rorschach and the people around him, a hundred years is not a short time.

Because before they moved to Old Warrington, most people had not lived for a hundred years, including Rorschach before he went to the Island of Beginning.

If we don’t count the experience on Hajime Island, Rorschach’s actual age is definitely not over a hundred years old, and this includes his age before the time travel.

But now, he no longer considers a hundred years as a big change.

It is worth mentioning that everyone from the Blue Water Star and the members of the Blood Knights have completely integrated into Old Lington.

Although many people from the Blue Water Star are wizards themselves, there is no shortage of wizards in Old Lington. It is an extremely inclusive place.

As for the members of the [Blood Knights], it was even less of a problem.

In the wizarding world, blood knights are second-class citizens, and most of them were originally servants of wizards.

Now that they have their own path, there is nothing for them to miss even if they leave the wizarding world. On the contrary, in this new environment of Old Warrington, strength is more respected.

For them, this was much better than being second-class citizens in the wizarding world, so they naturally had nothing to get used to.

In fact, over the past few years, the name of the Blood Knight has become widely known in Old Lington.

Many native creatures of Old Lington, and even some extraterritorial creatures from other worlds, are interested in this path and have embarked on it.

The outside world mentioned here does not refer to the other two camps, but some worlds from other areas of this universe.

It is true that the wizarding world is the dominant power in this era, and is far more powerful than the dominant powers of many previous eras.

But this does not mean that there are other civilizations and worlds only around the wizarding world. The three major camps, including the Old Ones, just happen to be relatively close to the wizarding world.

However, in other more distant areas, there are still some independent civilizations.

Although most of them are not very strong and cannot even compare to any of the three major camps, some strong individuals will still emerge.

It is hard to say whether there are the strongest ones or not, but there are definitely quite a few rule-level ones.

The reason why Old Warrington is called the world’s transit station is because the world it connects is far more than it seems on the surface.

So strictly speaking, the species diversity of Oldlington is absolutely unmatched by any of the six wizarding worlds.

Xueman is the snowman from the distant ”Ice and Snow World”.

They look very similar to humans, except that their skin color is uniformly light blue, and even their eyeballs are sapphire-shaped.

In that big world of ice and snow, Xue Man was considered a favored daughter of heaven. It was a pity that her family offended a big man in that world of ice and snow and was brutally slaughtered.

Including Xue Man, less than five people survived.

With the help of her friends, Xue Man came to Old Lington, but her family’s enemies didn’t seem to let her go.

Soon they found her clues and sent people to follow her.

She only recently discovered that someone was secretly investigating her, and realized that it was very likely related to the enemies of the Ice and Snow World.
