My comprehension is the best in the world

Chapter 23Chapter 23
The blazing sunshine shone on the town, scorching every building as if covered with heat waves.

For ordinary people, staying in this scorching environment for three to ten minutes is enough to cause heat stroke, and for more than an hour, life is bound to be in danger, but for Xu Yang and other warriors, this kind of heat is far from enough fatal.

Climbing to the roof of a building, Xu Yang looked into the distance, and from this high place, he could vaguely see some moving black shadows in the distant town. If there is no accident, those wandering black shadows are the so-called ’Ⅲ type’ variants.

A gust of wind blows.

There is no coolness at all, but it is like a heat wave, which is mixed with the smell of stench and decay.

Xu Yang’s hand holding the handle of the knife was a little harder. Although he had done various trainings before, after all, he had to deal with either wild beasts or other warriors. This was the first time for him to deal with a deformed monster. As far as he knew, in reality, Many of the creatures that have been eroded by the abyss and controlled by the cult often undergo abnormal transformations and become monster-like existences.

Just as Xu Yang was thinking about the abyss and the sect in reality, He Ren’s voice was heard.

”Attention, they are coming!”

Following this deep reminder, many black figures that were wandering blankly in the distance seemed to be aware of the people entering the town, and began to move in the direction of the people.

And their way of moving is also very strange. They don’t run from the ground like humans, but run and jump on the walls of buildings like reptiles one by one.

During the period, there were faint roars.

Although they knew it was a virtual world, the overly real touch and simulation still brought a certain sense of oppression. However, everyone was basically not too nervous. The only worry was whether they could complete the commission and get the commission money.

”So fast.”

Xu Yang stared at a mutant that was sprinting towards him.

As the other party gets closer, you can now see its appearance clearly. The overall structure is similar to that of a human being, but it is on all fours and running on the surface of buildings as if it is anti-gravity, but in fact it is running across the building. On the trajectory, there are traces of destruction everywhere. It is completely leaping and climbing with pure strength. Even reinforced concrete cannot stop that kind of destruction.

This mutant approached at an extremely fast speed, and then finally encountered a few people in the front of the crowd.

laugh!
A black arrow pierced through the air, piercing through the mutant’s head fiercely.

The mutant let out a hiss, and was jumping in midair. The body that was trying to launch an attack froze all of a sudden, and then fell heavily from midair, hitting the concrete floor below, making a ’chirp’.

However, the mutant whose head was penetrated by the entire arrow did not die. After falling, it got up again, roared with extreme anger, suddenly turned into a black shadow, and attacked the people above the building again. Come.

”Their key point is the neck, and it takes complete destruction of the spine.”

He Ren sounded a reminder.

Then the whole person took a step forward, and the long spear in his hand suddenly stabbed out, directly piercing through the neck of the mutant in the air, completely tearing the entire neck, and then swung it violently.

The mutant’s neck broke directly, and its head flew out, rolling down on the ground far away, and its headless body finally twisted a few times, and fell powerlessly to the ground below.

”It doesn’t seem that difficult to deal with.”

Someone spoke, and the tone became lighter.

”The mutant is okay, the key is the tyrant...he’s here!”

He Ren’s tone changed, and he looked into the distance solemnly.

The movement here seems to have finally alarmed the entire town, causing the originally quiet town to explode completely. Hundreds of mutants jumped and crawled from the town, along the buildings, overwhelming the sky.

And in the center of those mutants, there is an extremely conspicuous black shadow. This black shadow is very large, with a height of three to four meters. Wherever it goes, the heaviness seems to make the earth tremble.

With such a huge body, it is still very flexible, and its speed is quite fast.

”The first group, the second group, the third group, intercept from the front, the fourth group, the fifth group, go to the east to intercept, the sixth and seventh groups go to the west to intercept, the eighth group and the ninth group, follow me to deal with it. tyrant……”

”The tyrant is not easy to deal with. After solving those mutants, those who can come to support will come quickly.”

He Ren quickly issued an order.

Everyone did not hesitate and acted immediately.

Xu Yang, Shi Lei and the others were already a little to the west, so they didn’t need to move too much at this time, they just stood in their original places, and the batches of mutants came from the front, one by one, they were horrifying and terrifying. As he approached, the stench and rotten smell swept over along with the strong wind and heat wave.

boom!
Shi Lei took the lead, and threw the chain hammer in his hand, directly hitting a mutant’s head. The heavy and powerful force directly blasted half of the mutant’s head, and rotten pieces of meat and bones flew around.

However, this mutant did not die suddenly. The head of the mutant that has evolved to ”Type III” is no longer the key point. The flesh and blood on the skull squirmed, not only growing, but twisting all of a sudden, a flesh-colored ribbon sprayed out from it, like a tongue.

”...”

Shi Lei frowned, feeling the difficulty, but he is an amateur eighth-dan warrior after all, facing these mutants, his speed and strength are a bit stronger, so he won’t be in a hurry.

The whole person just dodged, and avoided the attack, and then swung the chain hammer in his hand, and the chain wrapped around the mutant’s head, and then twisted hard, twisting the entire head from the neck.

Solved a mutant.

Shi Lei did not relax, because there were quite a lot of mutants. Immediately afterwards, three more mutants stared at him, jumping along the wall and besieging him. Their hideous bloody mouths opened wide, trying to kill him. He shreds.

Facing the three-headed mutants is not as easy as before. Even he fell into a stalemate. After all, these mutants can only be solved by twisting their necks or smashing their heads, and other attacks are almost ineffective.

But after all, he has an amateur eighth-dan level, and he is quite capable despite being steady.

”what!”

There was a loud shout.

Many warriors began to suffer casualties.

Not all warriors have the level of amateur eighth-dan or even ninth-dan. Those who are amateur seventh-dan are not so lucky when faced with the siege of mutants. The strength and speed of type III mutants are slightly stronger than them. In a one-on-one situation, you can still win with wisdom, but in a one-to-many situation, it is full of dangers.

boom!
After resisting the attack continuously, Shi Lei threw out a chain hammer, which precisely hit a mutant’s neck, breaking its entire neck, and its head flew out.

While once again dealing with a mutant, he caught a glimpse out of the corner of his eye. Not far away, a member of their seventh group was besieged by two mutants and was in danger. Then one of them couldn’t dodge and was bitten on the shoulder by a mutant. , and then with a crash, the whole person was almost torn apart from the shoulder, and died on the spot.

”It’s okay, it’s a help to contain.”

Shi Lei shook his head.

It’s too late to rescue, and I don’t plan to rescue them. After all, the rewards will be distributed according to the contribution ratio of the system. Whoever solves more mutants will definitely make a greater contribution. These amateur seven-stage people will definitely survive in the end. I don’t expect them to solve many mutants, just help contain some.

Well, by the way, there is also that little brother Xu Ying... but it should be gone.

I remember it was in the building on the left. After a few mutants entered, there was no movement.

Shi Lei thought to himself.

Then he didn’t look much, and continued to concentrate on dealing with the two remaining mutants in front of him. But before he could seize the opportunity, the two mutants not far away who tore apart a member were also staring at them. he.

Coincidentally, on the other side of him, another amateur seventh-dan martial artist was also careless. The tongue-like strip of meat suddenly ejected by the mutant penetrated his chest, and the whole person fell from the tall building. fell down.

This time, there were a total of seven mutants nearby, and their targets all concentrated on Shi Lei at the same time.
