My comprehension is the best in the world

Chapter 4 Sword Art and ControlChapter 4 Sword Art and Control

classroom.

Mentor Wang Chen has left.

The students who had withdrawn from the virtual world took off their void headbands one after another.

”How does it feel to practice for the first time?”

He Mingxuan walked to the side, patted Xu Yang’s shoulder, and said with a snicker.

”It’s a little difficult.”

Xu Yang rubbed the center of his eyebrows. Compared with those math problems, it was indeed a little more difficult. He hadn’t completely solved it after nearly two hours of concentration, and he hadn’t encountered it much before.

Seeing that Xu Yang didn’t seem to have recovered, Ren Yan, who came over, also laughed and said: ”You have no foundation before, so it’s normal for it to be difficult, but it’s not a big problem. Those of them got to 60 in the first class.” % The ones above are all based on the same foundation as me and Mingxuan. I think you seem to be mentally exhausted a bit, so go back and rest first. There is a swordsmanship class in the afternoon.”

Xu Yang stood up and made an OK gesture.

At this moment, he was still replaying the previously practiced movements over and over in his mind, and his whole body seemed to be in a trance. He was so immersed just now that he has not completely exited that state of concentration.

This kind of state of concentration and immersion was what he had when he was studying cultural classes a long time ago. In this state, he is very efficient in reciting, doing questions and everything else.

really.

Even when practicing martial arts, he can still enter this immersive state.

Although this state is relatively energy-consuming, the effect is quite significant. The first picture is 93% complete. Even if he doesn’t know the progress of normal people’s cultivation, Xu Yang feels that this level should not be bad.

I heard from the instructor that the closer the completion is to 100%, the more difficult the final details will be. I estimate that if you still maintain the immersive practice with the remaining 7%, you will probably need one or two more classes, within today. It should work.

Xu Yang rubbed his swollen eyebrows.

Immersive martial arts training and being in the virtual world consumes much more energy than memorizing and brushing questions before, and maintaining it for two hours at a time is somewhat close to his current limit.

But compared to the boringness of answering questions, practicing martial arts is much more enjoyable. He can allocate more time to practice martial arts in the future. If he can keep up mentally, he can just rest for two hours a day and work harder than others.

……

The afternoon knife skills class is still held on the virtual campus.

The mentor is still Wang Chen.

”Since you have chosen the sword technique major, all of you must like the sword the most among the many weapons, and among all the weapons, the sword technique is also the easiest to learn.”

”Horizontal slash, straight slash, reverse slash... All the ever-changing sword moves are actually just one word ’cut’ in the final analysis. How to cut to maximize the power and how to cut the most difficult moves for the opponent is to The essence of knife skills.”

Wang Chen waved his hand while telling the story.

In the air around him, knives with different structures immediately appeared, including thick-edged machetes, slender straight-edged swords, slender Tang swords, and heavy-shaped swords similar to Western swords.

”Before we officially start the swordsmanship class, let me spread some martial arts knowledge to you.”

Wang Chen said to many students: ”After the class in the morning, the personal panels of all of you should have changed. Now you all call it out and take a look.”

Many students called out their personal panels one after another, and Xu Yang also looked at his own interface.

【Name: Xu Yang】

[School: Dongdu Martial Arts School]

[Enrollment time: August 2046, 8]

[Brain domain width: 23 domains]

[Physique: Amateur 56-dan (% mastery)]

[Martial arts: the first picture of the first part of the law of life evolution (98% completion)]

[Skill: None]

[Comprehensive strength: 11]

After the morning class, Xu Yang went back to his dormitory and practiced again for a whole afternoon. The progress of the first picture had reached 98%. As a freshman with no foundation, he was already far behind, so naturally he couldn’t slack off.

”At the back of your physique column, the description ’control’ should now appear.”

Wang Chen said to many students.

”Control, as the name suggests, is your ability to control body functions. Even an ordinary person who has never exercised can pull a car if he controls every muscle in his body.”

”The foundation of a martial artist is, firstly, the strength of the physique itself, and secondly, the ability to control body functions. Generally, the control of ordinary people who have not undergone training is between 20% and 30%. Those of you who have just started practicing martial arts should also be there. This range.”

Hearing this, Xu Yang’s eyes flashed with surprise.

He looked at the description ’Control 56%’ on his panel and fell into deep thought.

At this time, Wang Chen continued to narrate: ”Amateur 30th to 40th dan, body control is generally between 40% and 50%, amateur 60th to th dan, generally between % and %, and professional levels often have Above %, of course, there are occasionally some talented people whose control is higher than the corresponding range, and there may be some among you, so I won’t go into details here.”

”What I want to focus on is that the level of control not only directly affects how much strength you can exert your current physique, but also affects your practice of sword skills and various skills.”

”Currently, all the sword arts in the Chinese Alliance are of extremely wide variety. According to the intensity from low to high, they are first-level, second-level, third-level, etc. Generally, the body control is within 40%, which is suitable for practicing first-level sword skills, 50-level sword skills, etc. If it is within 60%, it is suitable to practice second-level swordsmanship. If it reaches %, you can try to learn third-level swordsmanship.”

”There is a huge gap in power between different levels of swordsmanship, as well as a huge gap in the difficulty of practice. It does not mean that you will not be able to practice second-level swordsmanship with 30% body control, but it takes time and energy to practice it. It is out of proportion to the harvest. Sometimes, instead of spending a long time learning a second-level sword skill, it is better to practice a first-level sword skill to perfection.”

Wang Chen’s narration allowed Xu Yang to quickly deepen his understanding of basic knowledge.

For example, in addition to the division of swordsmanship into classes, each level of swordsmanship is divided into four categories: entry, proficiency, proficiency and perfection. If one can practice the first-level swordsmanship to the ’perfection’ level, it will barely be comparable. Entry-level second-level swordsmanship.

”My body control is much higher than the range mentioned by the instructor. Is it caused by the ’brain mutation’? If so, then maybe I can directly practice higher-level sword skills...”

Xu Yang was thinking in his heart.

soon.

On the system interface that Xu Yang called out, instructor Wang Chen had given all students access to the ’skills’ section. He also entered the skills section and checked it carefully.

among them,

There are 120 seven kinds of first-order knife skills,
There are 160 nine second-level sword skills,
110 kinds of third-order knife skills,
……

The advice given by the instructor Wang Chen is that students with basic knowledge, such as He Mingxuan, Ren Yan and others, can directly choose second-level sword skills to practice and pay more attention to them.

For students who have no foundation, first choose a first-level saber technique as a daily practice, and after a period of time, when they have practiced the life evolution method to the amateur level four or above, they will change to a second-level saber technique for in-depth practice.

For freshmen, first-level swordsmanship is often a transition, and second-level swordsmanship is the focus worthy of in-depth practice. After all, before reaching the true professional level, second-level skills are mainstream methods at the amateur level.

”All of your saber skills can be guided by the system, and you can selectively practice them. I won’t guide them one by one. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. By the way, actual combat can improve your saber skills faster. Students who are above amateur six-dan can participate in the ’ladder mode’ to match corresponding opponents.”

When Wang Chen said this, he paused: ”The coverage of the ladder mode is the entire Chinese Alliance, so you don’t have to worry about not being able to match your opponents. If you are strong enough, you will even gradually be matched with higher-level characters. In addition, the school has a ladder ranking The scholarships and points are also very high.”

Xu Yang’s heart moved slightly.

In this life, his family’s income was average. Although Dongdu Martial Arts University has the lowest tuition among all martial arts colleges, it is still very high compared to ordinary colleges. It is not easy for ordinary families to afford it.

And because he was not familiar with this world, he did all he could to conquer his studies and did not earn much money. Naturally, scholarships were among his goals on the first day of school. You can get money while becoming stronger, but after you leave school, there will never be such a good thing again.

All that needs to be done is hard work.

Just work hard, he’s good at this.

Xu Yang looked at the various sword skills on the interface. These sword skills are divided according to different types of swords. There are heavy swords such as ’heavy sword’ and ’naginata’, as well as smaller swords such as flat sword and wide-edged sword. .

After his eyes glanced over the categories, he finally looked at Tang Dao’s column.

Tang Dao.

The blade is straight and slender, similar to a single-edged sword. It combines the characteristics of a knife and a spear. It can be slashed or stabbed. It does not seem heavy, but it is actually extremely powerful and lethal.

Xu Yang’s physique is not very tall and strong, so for him, heavy broadswords such as the Naginata Mo Dao are not very suitable. Tang Dao and Miao Dao, which can both stab and chop, are more suitable for him.

Swish.

Xu Yang clicked on the screen a few times, and then there were light spots in the void in front of him, which quickly condensed into a Tang saber, with a handle of 22 cm and a blade of 95 cm. The texture is ordinary and the weight is moderate.

After getting the Tang Dao, Xu Yang was not in a hurry. He successively called out several other knives and tried them one by one. In the end, according to his own feeling, the Tang Dao was still the most convenient.

then.

Xu Yang re-opened the ’Skills’ section on the screen interface, found the knife skills, and filtered the Tang knife category.

There are many kinds of swordsmanship in Tang Dynasty, which is a large classification. There are more than 30 kinds of swordsmanship. The similar Miaodao and Zhanmadao can also use this kind of swordsmanship. These more than 30 kinds are roughly divided into three schools.

Flowing water, mountains, no shadow.

Among them, the flowing water series focuses on the coherence and smoothness of moves, the mountain style is strong and fierce without casting, and the shadowless style has both, with the softness of flowing water and the fierceness of breaking a mountain.

”Different categories have different requirements for cultivation, but it is very humane to give advice.”

Xu Yang looked at the description on the interface thoughtfully.

Level 40: Mountain Knife (recommended control level %+)

Level 45·Falling Knife (recommended control level %+)

Tier 50 Afterimage Knife (recommended to control %+)
