Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 887: The Last Member

”So you are telling me the Cult of Wisdom made contact with the world you are in and that you solved their puzzles,” Vexthra asked through the harem connection, sounding as calm as she looked.

[It’s as I said. One minute, I was enjoying my food; the next second, I was solving puzzles. It was fun to get that technical, but it ruined my vacation.]

”First of all, congratulations on joining the Cult of Wisdom.”

[Hold on. Who said I have joined them? I merely solved a puzzle that revealed they had poisoned the Empress of this world and the alliance head. The moment I solve the last puzzle, I will vanish.]

Kent didn’t expect Vexthra to congratulate him.

”No need to look scared, Kent. The Cult of Wisdom is one of the most powerful cults in the universe. They are powerful and, most importantly, knowledgeable. In the entire universe, if you are looking for a source of information, they are the best people.

You may not realize their importance now, but trust me, one day, when you need something very important and your standing in the Cult of Wisdom is high enough, obtaining it will be but something very trivial.”

Kent listened to Vexthra speak, and the more he heard her, the more he started to sense there was more to the Cult of Wisdom than the pale look he saw on the faces of people of Manelaus.

”Many gods, myself included, tried to join the Cult of Wisdom but failed, so for my sake, please join. As it happens, I need some information, and that can only be found in the Cult of Wisdom.

Of course, whether you want to or not, the moment you solve their puzzle, the seal of wisdom is imprinted on you, and, like you said, the trial of wisdom in ten years will be when it awakens. So good luck, my love... I am proud of you.”

Kent smirked.

Soon, they arrived at the store where the last puzzle was.

The three heavenly Ascension stage experts leading the way cleared everyone from the store by unleashing their wild auras.

Kent, who was already looking to have some fun before getting back to the sect, smirked and then walked to the left side of the grand store and picked a box sitting on a dusty shelf.

He walked out and placed his hand on it.

Soon, he appeared inside the Puzzle Realm, where he quickly went to work. Though this puzzle ruined his vacation, he had to admit he enjoyed solving the four puzzles.

A few moments later, he opened his eyes, and the box opened. The moment it did, a token flew and entered Kent’s forehead. At that moment, the quest message appeared.

Kent lifted two jade boxes inside the box and handed them to Life Emperor Hael, then, with a peace sign and a grin, he vanished, startling everyone.

Kent went into the tower and then, using a marker he had left in Miracle City, he appeared there and quickly took his true appearance.

Kent soon left the city and started heading to Lison City, where he would deliver the wandering demon swordsman’s head.

He had already had enough, and knowing he couldn’t use his main face too much here, he knew he had to get things done fast.

He had no plans to use Chaos’s face or the Faceless as his new disguise. After all, he had plans for these faces, and using them now would be a waste.

[Immortal World - Planet Enigma - The Cult of Wisdom Headquarters]

Planet Enigma is a world known to hold the most brilliant cultivators in the universe.

After all, it is where the Cult of Wisdom headquarters is located. Aside from members who bear the seal of wisdom and have been granted permission by the Lord of Wisdom, no one else may enter.

Even gods cannot enter without permission from the proper and appropriate sources.

On Planet Enigma, there are several towers called the Tower of Wisdom. Inside them are scrolls containing knowledge spanning several billion years.

Although difficult to obtain, the Cult of Wisdom is said to possess deep knowledge from the Primordial Era. This makes them one of the very few to hold such knowledge, and perhaps the only ones to have some parts of the many secrets that went extinct after the Primordial Era fell.

At this moment, inside the main Tower of Wisdom sat an Immortal Lord reading a large scroll several meters long.

The look in his eyes and on his face showed great focus. He appeared to be chasing after something within the scroll, yet no matter what path he took, the thing always seemed to elude him.

However, despite many failures, he remained serious and hopeful that he would be able to acquire the knowledge he sought.

Suddenly, the door opened, and another immortal—this one an Immortal Monarch, one stage below the Immortal Lord—walked into the hall holding a small scroll.

”Lord of Wisdom, I have a report on the last Wisdom Seal.” The Immortal Lord paused, raising his eyes to look at the man.

”Speak,” he said calmly, yet the power behind his words made the Immortal Monarch exhale deeply before beginning.

”The last candidate for the Trial of Wisdom has been found on Planet Manelaus. It is a newly ascended Great High World. The report states that the one who passed our test is named Jest. He is a Core Formation expert and a human.

He solved the riddles in under four minutes.

He solved the first puzzle in under three minutes, the second in under five minutes, the third in under a minute, and the last in under three minutes, recording the second-highest time ever for solving a puzzle from the Cult of Wisdom in our history.”

The Lord of Wisdom closed the scroll he was reading and extended his hand. The scroll in the Immortal Monarch’s hand flew into his grasp.

He read through the content and repeated the process three more times before a smile appeared on his lips.

”A Core Formation expert who was able to solve our riddles and puzzles in under 25 minutes. The last time that happened was several million years ago.

Even then, the ancestor solved the puzzles while at the Spirit Ascension stage. So, to think this person accomplished the same at the Core Formation stage...”

A look of respect appeared on the Lord of Wisdom’s face.

”Tell them to keep an eye on this Jest.”

The Immortal Monarch sighed, ”I am afraid that won’t be possible. Outside the report, they said he vanished after solving the last puzzle.”

The Lord of Wisdom nodded. ”When the Trial of Wisdom is near, he will surface again. For now, keep a lookout for where he will appear next, and should he need help, the Cult should assist him from the shadows.”

The Immortal Monarch bowed and left.

The Lord of Wisdom looked at the content on the scroll for a few more minutes before putting it away.

He opened the large scroll again and started reading once more. Hopefully, with this good news he had received, he would be able to use it to find what he was looking for.
