Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 218: Arrogance is Bliss (3)

One had to say, the happiest person in the world at the moment was Annabelle.

Her master was giving her exactly what she wanted.

Kent was currently on his knees, his face and skin red, slowly taking on a darker shade of crimson. His body was going through some pain.

Though he refused to scream.

But his body was enduring it, and the external display was just to her satisfaction. Because of Kent, she had never had a good night’s sleep.

All she wanted was to get back at him for disrespecting her. And so, though she wasn’t expecting Kent to be this daring, the current predicament he was in was also good.

It was satisfying...until it wasn’t.

”How unfortunate. I really wanted this to go well. Too bad it had to result in violence...”

Kent spoke, then slowly raised his hand and snapped his fingers.

Immediately, the snapping sound was heard, and his red skin returned to its original glossy tone.

He no longer looked like an over-spiced barbecue. He was back to himself, and it shocked the Pill Saint speechless.

As for Annabelle, she wore a shocked expression at first, but it was quickly replaced by the sudden cold press of a blade against her neck.

It happened so fast that almost no one except Kent saw the 3-meter-tall metallic swordsman appear and press its sword to her neck.

Annabelle now stood pale, a sword pressed against her neck, with the metallic battle drone Kent had bought from the tower standing behind her.

”I really wanted this to end well... I truly did, but now, I’m forced to do this,” Kent said, making the doll take a purple talisman with a red dot on it and pressing it against Annabelle’s forehead.

It dissolved into her body, and the doll released her before vanishing.

It took only a couple of seconds, but it was over.

”That is a Life Knot Talisman. I have tied her life to mine. If something happens to me, she will experience the same. If I die, she will also die. This means that if you were to kill me now, you would lose your disciple.

Now, I don’t know how much you care for her, but if I were to guess, she is someone you cannot afford to lose. So, take this as a win. I will free her in three months’ time. If, after three months, you still wish to confront me, then we can fight.

But today, I have other things to worry about, and you and your disciple are not among them.”

Kent smiled and gave her the peace sign before blinking away. He appeared 1 kilometer away and then vanished. He didn’t enter the tower, nor did he run away. He simply disappeared.

Obviously, Kent wasn’t done.

But what was he planning, and what was his end game? That was left to be decided by the Pill Saint...

As expected, nobody made a move nor even tried to say anything. Everyone was frozen in place and it was all because of what had happened.

The next second, Kent was dying and then the next, he was fine and linked the disciple of an entire Pill Saint to his life. That was bold and cold as fuck...

”You are his master, right?” This, of course, didn’t have to end in peace.

The Pill Saint looked toward the Sword Saint and her eyes turned cold. Saintess Selene felt her gaze and tightened her grip on her sword.

However, she didn’t even have to do anything. That was because the next second, a rather powerful aura descended on the place, causing everyone to bend their knees.

The Gate masters weren’t spared either.

”If you laid a single finger on her hair, I will kill you where you stand and be damn with your status as the pill saint. I will not let you hurt my sister...Not on my watch”

Spear Saintess Neomi appeared and everyone was shocked yet again. This time, even the pill Saint was shocked.

She had felt her presence and her killing intent, and she knew if she were to do something at the moment, she would regret it. The intent directed toward her was just not something she could underestimate.

”Let’s go, Selene,”

Saintess Selene was released by the Tower Master, who was already shielding her. Selene flew toward her sister, who took her hand, and they flew away together.

They landed 3 kilometers away and turned back to see the Pill Saint staring at them. Nobody just expected something like this to happen.

Even Kent didn’t see this happening since his sudden disappearance was the plan he had cooked up. He knew the Wicked Witch would target his master, so he was counting on that.

Too bad the Spear Saintess ruined his plans. But Kent wasn’t about to put tails on the Saintess...He had to use his next best bullet since the first one misfired.

Suddenly, a voice filled with ridicule echoed throughout the space.

”This was unexpected. Though I never anticipated the Spear Saintess to appear, I did expect you, a full-fledged Pill Saint, to retaliate. Well, what can you expect from someone who is dying anyway?”

Kent’s words were laced with mockery, but to the Pill Saint, they were a shock. In fact, she immediately felt her deepest secret exposed, and not in the way she had ever anticipated.

She wanted to respond, but she couldn’t retort against Kent’s arrogant words.

’You will be dead within 2 years if you aren’t cured. Now, you can keep being a bitch and die young or go back and visit me again after the Pill Master competition. I might just have a way to cure you.’

He said to her telepathically using an item he bought from the Tower shop.

Kent, who was standing in an invisible bubble that he had spent 100,000 tower points on smirked.

In his hand is a disc-shaped item he was about to use to kill the Pill Saint. Luckily, Saintess Neomi appeared and saved her life.

He never wanted her to leave, he was just waiting for her to do something that will validate him attacking.

He used the [Rule Breaker] skill he received from his master when he added her to the harem to cancel her poison abilities for the day.

But if she were to attack again using a non-poison ability, he was ready to use the [Ten thousand Soul Piercing Needle disc].

This was the trump card he had prepared, and it was also the only way he planned on sending the Pill Saint on her way to the afterlife.

Spending a million Tower Points in it guaranteed she would die the moment he used it... It was always better to handle your enemies early before they become torn on your side.

But sometimes too, it’s better to take a step back and take things again.

The gibberish he said about her dying, though, was true; he never planned on using it. But because the spear saintess was now involved, he saw it best to handle it in a more civilized way - by blackmailing her...

’See you around Pill Saint...This is not over.’
