Global Gods: Start with a lottery system

Chapter 46: Land of inheritance, unjust gameThe military truck was parked intact beside the gate, and the cleaners avoided this big iron lump that looked much more difficult to deal with than the wooden wall.

The truck followed, and the group, led by Potova, followed the pick-up point to the Infiaite tribe.

There were no accidents along the way. The pick-up points were all obvious mounds. This tribe obviously had no intention of hiding itself.

Approaching the gate of the tribe, the thick wooden stakes neatly inserted into the ground, with iron sheets wrapped on top for reinforcement, looked much more imposing than Dart’s wandering tribe.

Before they got close enough, the Infiaite tribe had already discovered their arrival.

It seemed that they had originally gathered in one place. Two rows of warriors rushed out and looked at Xu Yi and his group warily. The inverted T-shaped masks on their faces were exactly the same as those worn by Dart and his men, which really made people think of something.

A skinny old man with a naked upper body walked out with a somewhat cracked wooden stick, followed by a strong young man without a mask.

”All outsiders and... expelled people, what is your purpose here? The Infiaite tribe is preparing for the succession ceremony. If decades of tradition is broken, the Infiaite tribe will fight to the death with you.”

The skinny old man spoke harshly in a calm tone, while scanning a group of outsiders who were hiding their heads and tails and... Is this, the breath of the gods? The old man’s face became a little suspicious.

It was still Jay who took over: ”My Lord has no intention of going to war with you this time, but only to solve the source of this white curse. Elder, the succession ceremony you mentioned corresponds to the entanglement and absurdity of the heir dying in reincarnation.”

”How dare you!” The burly man who led the masked warriors shouted: ”Huduo is the most talented in the history of the tribe. How can he be the same as those mediocre people in the past!”

”You outsiders, what qualifications do you have to gossip...” Before he finished speaking, he was interrupted by the skinny old man.

”Elder...”

”Balta, step back!” The old man looked solemn and made a tribal courtesy to show respect to the crowd.

”Elder Pabla, these outsiders...”

The burly man wanted to stop him, but was stopped by Pabla’s suddenly loud voice:

”I hope to know the name of the person behind you. If you are willing to take Hudo to the inheritance place, Pabla is willing to lead the entire Infiaite tribe to serve, and the faith will never change in this life!”

If that person is really a god, his action is equivalent to making conditions to the god. A trace of cold sweat fell. Pabla bent down and waited nervously. He couldn’t figure out the temper of this god. He knew that this was a gamble!

”My Lord agreed to your request. You must remember my Lord’s name. The God of Wasteland has thousands of incarnations. This is the symbol of shadow, the dark man!”

...

In Pabla’s narration, Xu Yi and others roughly understood the origin of the inheritance ceremony.

Decades ago, the chiefs of the Pallas and Infiait tribes, who were also the strongest of the two tribes, fought in the inheritance land to obtain the power of the source of the curse. After a battle, both of them died, and the source of the white curse stole their power, and cursed the two tribes, so that their descendants could no longer get close to the source of the curse.

The significance of the inheritance ceremony is that the two tribes sent their most promising descendants to solve the curse, inherit the power of the chiefs, and remove the source of the curse!

But Xu Yi still has doubts, ”Clan confrontation, foreign enemies provoking.”

In this ballad that even hunters of wandering tribes like Dart can sing, if the clan confrontation refers to the hatred caused by the battle and death of the chiefs of the Pallas and Infiait tribes, then what is the meaning of the foreign enemy provoking?

From Pallas’s story, there is no information about the foreign enemy. Could it be the source of the curse? Could it be that this thing has self-awareness and can lure others to fight for it?

With doubts, Xu Yi and his group, led by Pabla, headed towards the so-called inheritance site.

The truck could no longer drive, and the road to the inheritance site was no longer a flat wasteland without ups and downs, but a series of cliffs.

It was winding and rugged, and after climbing a section, the next section could be seen clearly in the increasingly dense white fog.

After climbing a cliff that was a hundred meters long through the withered but solid vines, and crossing a small fault that was as high as a person, the group finally came to the flat land again. Pabla had stopped accompanying them at the foot of the hundred-meter cliff, and only Hu Duo followed them up.

After walking a few steps forward, the figure of another young man emerged in the dense fog. Unlike Hu Duo, who was much taller than his peers and strong and sturdy, this young man looked thin, and his exposed arms were also very slender.

Is this the successor sent by the Pallas tribe this time?

Seeing the appearance of the group, the young man was also a little dumbfounded. Soon, his clear voice sounded with a hint of anger: ”You, Infite, have violated the inheritance agreement after all!”

Ignoring the young man’s roar, Xu Yi did not pay attention to the so-called inheritance ceremony at all. He had only one goal, which was the source of this biochemical fog. It was very likely a special prop or a strange object!

Leaving the young man aside, Xu Yi continued to move forward. A huge stone pier slowly emerged from the fog, and on top of the stone pier was a flower flashing with green light.

After taking a few steps forward, Xu Yi’s face suddenly darkened. Although no one could see it, he could clearly feel that the energy density of the dark shadow was slowly decreasing. Although the green light was weak, the coverage area was not small.

Energy attribute attack? If he walked in front of it, the dark shadow would definitely not be able to withstand the damage. If he walked a distance and let the flesh and blood thugs bear the dark damage... then he might completely shift to the [Neutral Evil] camp, which was not in line with Xu Yi’s own temperament.

The spell scroll [Unjust Game] was activated!

It seemed that there was a crisp clapping sound in his ears, and the original position of the dark shadow was replaced by a five-meter-high black statue!

The five-meter-high black statue slowly shrank, and the originally fine scales continued to overlap with each other, and finally formed a smooth black shell. Dark gray energy flowed out from the almost invisible gap, forming a gray flesh outer layer, and a deformed arm grew from the back.

The human figure finally froze at a height of two meters, [Swelling Colossus] fourth-level form!

The people on the side watched with awe, and even the thin Pallas boy stopped making noises.

If I guessed correctly, the closer I got to it, the higher the damage I would suffer. Was there such damage just at the edge of the green light? Then...

The fourth-level swollen giant almost turned into a shadow. When it reappeared, it had climbed onto the stone pier and stood next to the green flower.

The gray flesh was constantly evaporating. The damage of the green light reached its limit. There was no time to use the detection technique. The deformed right arm grabbed down fiercely, and the green light shattered...
