Earth's Greatest Magus

Three Grand Magus unleashed their Domains simultaneously, and an oppressive wave of cosmic energy descended upon the Azure Cloud estate. Their combined power warped the air, creating cracks in the sky as energy crackled with raw, untamed force.

The magus forces spread out in perfect synchronization, encircling the estate and cutting off any possible escape or reinforcements. Amidst the overwhelming tension, Grand Magus Stolts turned his gaze to Emery, his expression serious for the first time.

“Kid… you take one of them. I’ll handle the other two!” he declared, his casual demeanor replaced by steely resolve.

To his surprise, Emery shook his head saying. “Senior, that soul attack earlier… it drained me more than I expected. I need time to recover.”

Stolts’ brows furrowed deeply, his lips pressed into a thin line. But despite the clear disadvantage, he nodded firmly.

“Fine!”

With that, Stolts straightened his back, cracked his knuckles, and his Domain erupted outward, meeting the oppressive force of the three others head-on. The sky itself seemed to fracture as the four Domains collided, creating swirling vortexes of energy above them.

Then, with a single explosive movement, the three Grand Magus charged forward, and Stolts met them head-on.

It became a three-against-one clash, and the sheer force of their engagement made the entire courtyard tremble violently. Gusts of razor-sharp wind cut through the air, and the cosmic energy radiating from their fists and strikes shattered the sound barrier repeatedly.

What surprised Emery as he observed from the sidelines was not just the display of raw power—but the integrity of the estate itself.

Despite the cataclysmic energy waves, the walls stood firm, the tiles remained perfectly in place, and even the delicate ornamental structures barely showed signs of damage.

It took him a brief moment to realize the truth—this realm’s materials were simply superior to those found in the Magus World. Even common stone and wood here carried a natural resilience that could withstand forces capable of obliterating entire cities elsewhere.

“This is good. I can watch the battle conveniently,” Emery muttered, his gaze locked on the ongoing clash before him.

The truth was, although Emery had indeed taken a blow from the precious soul attack, it was not something that could truly incapacitate him. No, the reason he chose to remain on the sidelines was far more strategic—he wanted to carefully analyze the quality of what this realm considered a Grand Magus expert.

With the assistance of VIA, Emery was able to observe and dissect the combat prowess of all four combatants in minute detail.

Vernon, the patriarch of Amber Fall, wielded an impressive combination of strength and flame laws. Every punch he delivered carried the explosive force of celestial power, igniting the air around him with fiery bursts that shook the battlefield. According to Emery’s assessment, Vernon was categorized as a second-stage Cosmic Realm expert, equivalent to a mid-stage One-Cosmos Grand Magus in the Magus World.

Beside Vernon was the slender, towering figure of Yurek, a Spirit Master whose abilities revolved around mental and soul-based attacks. While he was also at the second stage of the Cosmic Realm, his Spirit Master expertise elevated his threat level considerably. Stay updated through My Virtual Library Empire

The third combatant, a stout and burly dwarf-like Grand Magus named Roco, was visibly a level below the other two, classified as a first-stage Cosmic Realm expert. However, what he lacked in raw magical prowess, he compensated for with extreme physical conditioning. His compact frame housed incredible muscle density, allowing him to wield an enormous battle-axe with ease, each swing cleaving through the air with devastating momentum.

As for their opponent, Soltz, the old Grand Magus they were battling, his power clearly outmatched the trio. Standing at the third stage of the Cosmic Realm, Soltz radiated an aura of seasoned dominance. Yet, despite his overwhelming strength, he struggled to maintain control in the three-against-one confrontation.

Vernon’s explosive punches erupted like cascading meteors. Yurek’s piercing spirit attacks relentlessly assaulted Soltz’s mental defenses. And Roco, with a thunderous roar, lunged forward, swinging his massive axe with spine-chilling precision. Each strike pushed Soltz further back, cornering the ancient Grand Magus with relentless pressure.

The battle raged on, explosions of energy rippling through the air, crackling with every clash of fists, axes, and spirit force. Emery observed it all with sharp, calculating eyes, his expression unreadable as he analyzed every movement, every weakness, and every opening.

Once satisfied with his observations, Emery decided it was time to act. His objective was clear—to swiftly neutralize or incapacitate the three grand magus figures without giving them a chance to retaliate. His target was already chosen: Roco, the stocky, dwarf-like grand magus whose reliance on brute strength made him predictable.

With a subtle shift in his stance, Emery vanished from his position—a flicker in space followed by an imperceptible pulse of energy. He reappeared directly behind Roco, his presence masked by a veil of shadow that made him seem like a phantom stepping out of thin air.

“What—?! Wait!!” Roco’s gruff voice trembled with sudden panic as he sensed the killing intent looming behind him.

But Emery gave him no chance to react. With a flick of his wrist, his claws extended—silver gleaming blades shimmering with a faint green glow of nature energy.

SLASH!

The claws carved through the air in a brutal arc, meeting Roco’s massive axe mid-swing. Sparks erupted as metal met blade-claw, but Emery was relentless. His second arm came up in a follow-up strike, claws slicing deep into Roco’s side.

“ARGH!!” Roco bellowed in pain, staggering backward as emerald energy flared from his wounds, spreading like creeping vines and disrupting his flow of cosmic energy.

Emery didn’t stop. He lunged forward and ruthlessly bombarded the grand magus, crushing his defense.

SHRRK!

Finally, the blade claws pierced through Roco’s chest plate, embedding themselves into his torso. The dwarf grand magus gasped, blood spurting from his mouth as his eyes went wide with disbelief.

The stout figure froze in place, his axe slipping from his fingers and crashing to the ground. His body crumpled moments later, blood pooling beneath him.

“One down… two more to go”
