Global Catastrophe: I, Mecha God, Can't Hide From The World

Chapter 143 You are not the driver yetIn addition to Fog City, such tests are being conducted simultaneously in more than fifty cities, large and small.

In fact, that illusion was deliberately added in order to test whether those who participated in the test were brave enough.

If they are just cowards, they will not be able to complete the task of killing the alien beasts if they are given a mecha.

Chen Ping’s Red Sea Base is not rich enough to be able to give Xia Kingdom’s more than one billion people a Raider mecha, so a test of courage is inevitable.

He must allocate the limited mechas to those who are truly brave and arm them first so that they can quickly form combat effectiveness and join the ranks of exterminating the alien beasts.

If you are so scared that you wet your pants when facing a strange beast, it will be useless no matter how powerful the mecha you are wearing.

Of course, Chen Ping is not worried about not being able to find the person he wants. There is not much in Xia State, but there are many people, so he is not worried at all.

Especially in Fog City, the total city population exceeds 30 million. This is the largest city on the western front of Xia Kingdom. If it were not for the fact that the test site of the Awakened Union was too small, I am afraid that more people would come to participate in the test.

There are more than fifty Awakened Union members going on at the same time. Even if only one person passes through each place, it is enough to organize a team of fifty people, which is enough to form some combat effectiveness.

Just imagine, what if there are ten people in every place, what about a hundred people?

Moreover, Chen Ping also believes that the Xia Kingdom has never lacked truly courageous people. Looking back on the 5,000-year history of the Xia Kingdom, in which period did there not emerge heroic figures who turned the tide and expelled the aliens?

Throughout the Great Xia, there has never been any break in history. Shouldn’t the credit also be given to these heroic figures?

Moreover, the test set up by Chen Ping is not very difficult at all. Most people will definitely be able to pass the test as long as they still have a little bit of enthusiasm.

Of course, after passing the test, it cannot be said that they have combat capabilities. These people still need to undergo some simple training.

Although the Raider mecha is smart enough to assist the pilot in combat, most of these guys have no combat experience. If they really join the battlefield now, they will definitely suffer heavy casualties.

Even though there will be more people to make up for the battle losses and let Chen Ping choose, the number of Raider mechas is limited.

So far, the Red Sea Base’s non-stop production has only produced 60,000 sets of Raider mechas, but this has occupied most of the production capacity of the Red Sea Base.

You can’t completely turn the Red Sea base into a factory for producing raider mechas, right? What about the more powerful mechas in the back?

What should I do if I encounter a more powerful alien beast in the future?

You know, these ordinary people are not Chen Ping. When wearing the Raider mecha, they can only fight against second-level alien beasts, that is, they can only play with the unevolved Red Howler.

Are there many Redhowmons that haven’t evolved? Although there are not as many alien winged beasts and flying beasts, they can still be seen everywhere, and they are just cannon fodder among the alien beasts.

When stronger and more ferocious beasts appear, they will be unable to deal with them, and the technological level of the Raider mecha is very low, and they will eventually be eliminated.

Perhaps, by then, the Raider mechas can be replaced by more powerful manned mechas, so that those who have become professional mecha pilots can continue to fight.

But that’s not now!

Chen Ping’s technological level and the existing war points in his hand do not allow him to create better mechas now.

The first day’s test was finally completed under the continuous work of the work robots. Those who failed the test had all left the hall of the Awakened Union in despair.

Soon, the number of people who passed the test on the first day was accurately counted by the work robot and reported to Chen Ping.

There are more than 50 testing points, and a total of more than 3,600 people have passed the preliminary test, which means that there are about 70 people in each place.

This is still the result of the part-time robot picking and choosing again and again.

Moreover, this is only the first day, and many people don’t know much about mechas or testing, and even more so because the test venue can only accommodate a limited number of people.

And at the end of the day, there were still many people waiting in line at more than fifty test points. When they heard that the first day of testing was over and they were asked to come back tomorrow, many people actually lay down on the spot and planned to I stayed in place overnight, but fortunately I rushed into the test site as soon as possible tomorrow.

Their performance allowed Chen Ping to see the desire in their hearts, which also strengthened Chen Ping’s confidence.

Chen Ping plans to start testing for ten consecutive days. During these ten days, the Awakened Union will not do any other work, only testing.

More than 3,600 people were selected on the first day. It is conceivable that there will definitely be more people coming to take the test tomorrow, and more people will be selected.

Perhaps within ten days, the quota of 60,000 Raider mecha pilots will be filled.

Inside the Fog City Awakeners Guild.

Nearly a hundred selected people stood in the hall, most of them were young faces. Each of them had an extremely excited expression on their face. After the first try, the tall and mighty image of the Raider mecha was revealed. , the atmosphere full of futuristic technology is deeply imprinted in their hearts.

They had already imagined that they were driving such a mecha, and when it suddenly appeared in the crowd, the girls screamed.

”Congratulations on passing the preliminary test! But this does not mean that you have become a qualified driver. Your information has been registered with the union. Starting tomorrow, you will receive driver training specially developed by the union. Once the training is completed, our union will provide you with a basic raider mecha for free...”

”What? There is still training!!”

”I thought I could pilot a mecha now!!”

”How long will this training take?”

The young people curled their lips helplessly and discussed in a noisy manner.

”Stop arguing and listen to what the robot has to say!!”

An older man in the crowd shouted, interrupting everyone’s discussion, which made the young people a little dissatisfied.

Mechanics are what these people call the work robots and the Master Chief mechas who remain in the union and are responsible for protecting the safety of the union.

Seeing that the crowd became quiet, the work robot continued to make sounds.

”Remember, you are not mecha pilots yet. If you want to get a raider mecha, you must complete the training tasks in accordance with the union’s requirements!”

The words of the part-time robot instantly shattered these guys’ illusions.
