Global Catastrophe: I, Mecha God, Can't Hide From The World

Chapter 117 A new era for shipsFog City, Times Square.

The first base of the Awakened Union has been quickly established, and a simple testing site has also been built.

Several working robots are busy.

Some are responsible for reception and registration, some are responsible for testing, and some are processing and collecting information. Eventually, this information will be sent to Chen Ping.

And there are more job robots and Master Chief robots rushing towards the Awakened Union to assist in the work.

However, it had only been seven or eight days since Chen Ping distributed alien meat in the square for the first time, and the Fog City Awakeners Guild had hardly received any news of anyone’s awakening.

Chen Ping is still carrying out his publicity campaign in other cities.

Suddenly, a young man dressed simply opened the door of the Awakened Union.

”Excuse me, is this the Awakened People’s Union?”

The young boy looked inside timidly and asked.

”Yes, sir! What can I do for you?”

A working robot tilted its huge mechanical head slightly, and an electronic sound sounded.

”I’m here...to test my abilities!”

The boy lowered his head and said.

”oh?”

After hearing the boy’s answer, the part-time robot quickly led the boy through the door. This is good news. The Awakened Union is finally opening!

”Excuse me, what’s your name?”

The part-time robot became obviously much more eager. After the boy sat down, he hurriedly asked.

”My name is Tong Wuyan...”

The boy seemed a little uncomfortable communicating with a machine. Just like his name, he seemed very reserved.

After some patient questioning by the working robot, I finally understood the general situation.

Tong Wuyan, 20 years old, just awakened yesterday. As for his awakening ability, he described it as sword control.

To put it simply, he can condense his energy into an ethereal sword, which can be controlled from a distance and kill enemies.

”Okay, we will test and register your abilities and evaluate your strength. Please follow me!”

The working robot quickly entered information into the computer while leading Tong Wuyan towards the newly established test site.

It is said to be a test site. In fact, a vacant floor has been cleared in the office building, and several targets are placed inside. People who come to test need to demonstrate their abilities and destroy the targets.

Chen Ping was very dissatisfied with this testing ground.

First, the venue is too small and does not have the atmosphere that a trade union should have. The test method is too simple and can hardly measure the ability of the awakened person.

The second thing is that there are no protective measures in this place at all. If one of the awakened ones fails to control it well, it is possible that the entire floor will be blown up. What can happen?

However, the Awakened Union is still in its infancy stage, so keeping everything simple is better than nothing.

This is also something that can’t be helped.

Tong Wuyan stood still in the testing field and looked at the targets in the center. Suddenly, he raised one hand and pointed it into a sword. A transparent energy flow suddenly appeared in front of him. Eventually they converge into the shape of a sword shadow, which is impossible to distinguish unless you look closely.

At a certain moment, Tong Wuyan’s eyes were focused, and he waved one hand, and the sword shadow flew towards the target in the center.

”Crack!!”

The five targets side by side were cut in half in an instant, and the cuts were very smooth and flat.

The working robot on the side recorded this scene and sent it to Chen Ping along with Tong Wuyan’s detailed information.

…………

”Ouch!!”

”Isn’t this the sword-control technique used by legendary cultivators?”

After receiving the video, Chen Ping stood up from his chair.

Although this sword control technique does not control physical objects, the sword made of energy can come and go without a trace. I am afraid it is even more sinister than the sword control technique.

Calculating the time, it only took seven or eight days, and the first awakened person was actually born in Wucheng.

If this was Tong Wuyan’s first time eating exotic animal meat, then the time he spent on awakening was only two or three days longer than Chen Ping’s, and he still succeeded in awakening even though the amount of exotic animal meat was insufficient.

Compared to his talent level, he is probably on par with Chen Ping!

This guy is a talent, he needs to pay more attention to him.

Chen Ping thought in his mind.

Currently, the Awakened are a new product of this era, and the entire Blue Star does not yet have a deep understanding of the Awakened.

No one knows what kind of abilities humans will awaken and what heights their abilities will eventually reach. Therefore, it is impossible to establish a systematic classification, let alone have corresponding cultivation methods or skills as mentioned in those short novels. It’s law.

As far as Chen Ping can see, the awakening abilities are already very complicated. The common ones are like Wang Dong and others, which are simple attributes of fire, earth and five elements. The special ones include Jiang Yunya’s space ability, Zhao Chengxue’s spiritual ability, etc., and Like Lin Wei, the ability to specialize in a certain weapon...

As for Tong Wuyan, he should be specialized in swords and have awakened related abilities.

At present, Chen Ping can only generally refer to awakening abilities other than the Five Elements attributes as special awakenings.

Obviously, this is a new era that needs to be explored by everyone.

However, for Chen Ping, mechas are his future.

His mecha will eventually destroy the invasion of alien beasts, break out of Blue Star and travel around the world to explore more secrets about the universe.

Awakening is just an additional product brought to Blue Star by the alien beasts. Although this road seems to be full of light at the moment, the road is not clear.

Of course, Chen Ping was also thinking about whether there was a way to combine human awakening abilities with his own mechas to create a more powerful path.

”Tell Tong Wuyan that his ability is a special awakening and has huge potential... give him a first-level awakened person badge and ten pounds of exotic animal meat!”

Chen Ping contacted the working robot through the system in his mind.

………………

Guild of the Awakened.

The working robot took Tong Wuyan to the registration office. After confirming it again, he took out a badge and handed it to Tong Wuyan.

”Tong Wuyan, this union officially announces! From now on, you have become an awakener. Your current level is awakening level 1! Please wear your badge of glory!”

Listening to the solemn words of the working robot, Tong Wuyan couldn’t help but feel excited. He pinched the badge in his hand and looked at it again and again.

It was a golden badge, with a shining five-pointed star in the middle, and simple pictures and texts representing water, fire, wind, and other different powers engraved around it. There was a row of small words ”Awakened People’s Union” underneath.

Tong Wuyan trembled and pinned the badge on his chest. His whole body seemed to have been washed, with his head held high, and the previous timidity was completely gone.

”Mr. Tong, congratulations on becoming the first awakened person in this city!”

The working robot said, and took out another piece of alien meat weighing ten kilograms and placed it in front of Tong Wuyan, ”Your talent is very outstanding. This is a benefit given to you by the Awakened Union! Please keep working hard!”

Tong Wuyan was already numb.

He was speechless. He didn’t expect that he would receive such a high evaluation and even get ten pounds of exotic animal meat for free.

This is so cool!

I have to go back quickly and show off to my friends!

”Mr. Tong! Welcome to a new era! The era of the Awakened!”
