The Golem Mage

Chapter 296: Boredom.

The previous Blood Moon had caused great concern among highly respected and powerful mages in the North Kingdom.

Normally, the Blood Moon would last for a Maximum of 12 hours, but this time it exceeded that duration and lasted for a full 15 hours.

This unexpected extension of hours have raised alarm throughout the entire kingdom, as not every city possessed the capability to effectively counter the attacks from the beings of the second Dimension Races.

Most cities relied on their endurance and managed to defend themselves until the 12-hour mark before, at which point the second dimensional creatures would retreat, after trthat time, since they are restricted by the Human Realms law after the Blood Moon ends.

However, the additional three hours caught everyone off guard and caused numerous technical difficulties, resulting in the loss of many lives.

Not every city was able to pursue the creatures back to the gate before the Blood Moon War concluded, like Latvia City situation

Due to these events, the king of the Northern Kingdom summoned all his city Lords and respectable mages to assemble at the Royal Palce to discuss the next course of action.

A week has passed since then, and during this time, Terran regained his strength and devoted himself to teaching his students to the best of his abilities, particularly Alec, he had still not informed him of the bat he made on him.

Despite this, their sparring sessions with the Centaur Prince continued uninterrupted, as he seemed to have adapted well to life in the Human realm.

He dined without worries, thanks to the academy’s efforts in ensuring he received the best meals delivered straight to his door.

However, apart from Terran, the only ones who interacted with Seven in the entire academy were Alec and his Clansmen.

The academy had initially been concerned about his true intentions, but after a few days of observation, they realized he was simply focused on cultivation and enjoying his time.

While the Centaur prince reveled in his new life, Alec’s gang felt bored as they resumed their regular activities - attending public classes, sparring with Seven, and receiving lectures from their teachers.

It became monotonous for them after entering the Abyss Realm.

They had lost all interest in competing with the new rookie mages who go around the academy striving to make a name for themselves by entering the human board ranking, and showing off there Magic spells.

After fighting alongside Alec in the blood moon battles and experiencing faster growth in the Abyss Realm, they had a strong desire to return there, as they have started believing the grew stronger in battles.

However, they discovered that they were not even supposed to be in the Abyss Realm in the first place, considering their cultivation levels.

It felt like a setback to them.

And that is why On this particular day, Alec had made up his mind to ask his master for permission to return to the Abyss Realm.

He had learned that there was a rule stating that mages below the Tier 3 Mage realm could enter the Abyss Realm, but only with their master’s permission.

This rule was mainly for mages who had connections or family members in the academy, allowing them to explore the human city base in the Abyss Realm and gain knowledge ahead of other mages.

It served as more of a vacation than an adventure, especially for those with family members in high positions in the academy, as they would never really leave the city.

However, Alec’s intention for going into the Abyss was to engage in battle, he had realised that his cultivation speed became slower , and this was despite his use of two basic techniques, with such a set back he could finally realise why some mages stay months in a realm but he didn’t have months.

At present, the only person in his squad against whom he had a slight lead in cultivation speed was Knight the rest already passed him.

Even Arthur has surpassed him in cultivation speed, after Arthur’s acquisition of the Third Elder Inheritance techniques and him practicing the Forging of Golden Bones he had left Alec’s double technique far behind In the dust.

On the other hand, Brandon possessed a unique cultivation technique passed down to him by his father, which he had created after merging the cultivation technique he created for himself and Brandon’s mother cultivation techniques.

And he had turned the new technique to an entire new concept after making it to match brandon perfectly, which was why he used two different weapons.

Though his father preferred a spear, but since his son loved another weapon type, so he could only find a substitute, and that was why He found a way to adapt his moves to saber techniques, and even Brandon experienced a significant boost in cultivation after practicing this new technique,

his compatibility with the tailor-made cultivation techniques, was almost too good to be true.

While Agnes’ father on the other hand wasted no time in obtaining an expensive cultivation manual for his daughter, as he held a prominent position in the Gordons clan, and was in control of the clan’s finances.

He didn’t want his daughter to fall behind, as he himself had felt less talented than his siblings in their generation.

Regretting his past decision, he recognized Agnes’ talent and her efforts to keep up with the monsters born in the same generation as her.

The first elder knew that Alec’s talent surpassed that of Draco’s and even previous patriarch generations.

And In order to support his daughter’s dream of chasing Alec, he had done everything in his power to assist her.

Considering all these factors, Alec was certain that if he chose to cultivate indoors, he would never achieve his goals and might even endanger his life.

He was aware that the next time he faced Orion in the upcoming life and death battle, he would die if he continued cultivating this way, like most young masters who were being protected by there family

His system would allow him to grow as long as he accumulated experience points from constant battle.

The system was not interested in nurturing a Greenhorn.

Realizing that the entire group was interested in returning to the Abyss Realm, Alec made the decision to ask his master for permission for them to enter once again.

This time, he hoped to gather enough resources to equip his whole team, he had big plans but first he needed those around him to be strong as he could not always rely on his golems.

”Master Terran!”

Alec called out, but there was no response.

He pushed open the door, stepping into his master’s room for the first time.

The room was enveloped in darkness, making it difficult to see anything.

As Alec surveyed the room, his eyes caught sight of a large door at the side, of the room, He walked over, calling out Terran’s name once again, but still received no answer.

Opening the door, a sudden strong force passed through the room, throwing Alec back and causing him to cough up blood. His insides felt in turmoil.

Struggling to support himself, Alec managed to witness what was happening inside the room.

It appeared to be a capsule room, and within it, Terran was performing push-ups with just one finger.

Despite being drenched in sweat, Terran gritted his teeth and continued.

However, when Alec called out again, Terran raised his head, sensing someone else’s presence.

He stopped his training and swiftly exited the room.

Terran threw a pill towards Alec, noticing his minor injuries.

He knew that if left unattended, these injuries could develop into something more serious.

This was the reason for the pill.

”Have a seat and tell me what bothers you, Alec, for you to visit me for the very first time. ” Terran said, pointing to the nearest chair in the room.
