Shelter: All-Class Survival

Chapter 84: Aberrant Golden Ring BeeAfter purchasing the module, Chen Chen washed a little and went back to his bedroom to sleep.

Looking at the somewhat rough bedroom, Chen Chen felt helpless, ”I’m too busy today, I’ll try to find time tomorrow to install a wooden floor in the room.”

Chen Chen learned the floor plan a long time ago, and it won’t take much time to make and install it tomorrow.

********

”Oh~~” Chen Chen yawned and stretched.

I slept very comfortably last night. I haven’t felt this comfortable breathing for a long time.

As Chen Chen woke up, Xiao Luo slowly turned on the lights in the bedroom one by one.

The current lighting is still relatively simple, only ambient lights and sun lights.

The sun lamp is a high-tech product of the abnormal world. There are eight lamp heads in a headlamp, which can emit light of various spectrum color temperatures, which can greatly restore the sunlight of different weather and time, and it is very real on the body.

The sun light comes with a simple chip, which can be fine-tuned by Xiaoluo after it is connected to Xiaoluo. With this kind of light, you will not feel depressed if you stay indoors all day.

Thinking of this, Chen Chen is really glad that he picked up Xiao Luo. Without Xiao Luo, he might still be blind in what kind of shelter.

”Xiao Luo play a song.”

”Good host, Xiao Luo will play Li Jian’s ”By the Lake Baikal” for the host.”

The melodious music sounded in the bedroom, Chen Chen put on his clothes and moved his hands and feet, and then went to the next kitchen to wash and cook.

”The conditions are still a bit difficult, and the kitchen has to take into account the washing function for the time being.”

Chen Chen walked through the hall, climbed onto the observation platform, and looked into the distance.

In the wild today, the fog is thicker than before, and some trees not far away are taller than the observation deck. A towering tree in the southwest is actually wrapped around a green vine with the thickness of a bucket, like a tree on a stone pillar. Panlong.

A large number of trees near the shelter encroached on the bamboo forest planted by Chen Chen. The bamboo on the outer layer was completely suppressed by the wild plants. Only the bamboo close to the shelter was still flourishing.

What’s even more terrifying is that these scenes are all within 50 meters, and Chen Chen can’t see anything outside, only a white expanse is left.

Not only that, Chen Chen took a closer look, and today’s plants have become more diverse, red and purple, and they look scary.

”Today, just deal with the thirty or forty meters, and don’t go any further.”

After confirming the plan, Chen Chen returned to the second room to check on the bees.

During the catalysis the night before yesterday, Chen Chen catalyzed several queen bees, and yesterday let them all go out for a wedding flight.

As a result, 12 Chinese queen bees came back today, 7 giant bees came back, and 8 golden ring bees came back.

Chen Chen did not directly kill the excess queen bees, but ordered the excess queen bees to lay eggs in other beehives to speed up the production of young bees.

When all the bee colonies are self-sufficient, Chen Chen will let these extra queen bees open up their own hives.

The existing bees are all kept in the hive to raise their larvae, and the worker bees are not enough.

After half a day and a night of development, the larvae of some Vigorous bees and golden ring bees have crawled out of the eggs and started to eat.

Chen Chen selected these bees, fed them growth juice, and then asked a group of adult bees to prepare royal jelly and honey to feed these bee larvae that were about to frantically eat.

This is Chen Chen’s plan, to directly use the growth juice to ripen several queen bees, and then let all the remaining bees stop other work and do their best to take care of these new and old queen bees.

Immediately after the larvae are born, they use juice to ripen to a juvenile state, quickly replenishing the lack of population in each hive. As long as there is enough food, the bees can quickly grow the population.

Young bees already know how to clean the hive and make food.

These newborn larvae can quickly take over the work of the adult worker bees. In this way, some worker bees continue to stay in the hive to deal with the growing hive, while the rest of the worker bees go out to collect honey.

After ripening the bees, Chen Chen put the juice back into the item space to keep it fresh. The object space cannot be entered by any creatures and is an excellent food storage place.

The growth juice is very easy to spoil, and the bacteria that fall in it can quickly divide. Ten minutes after taking it out, the whole juice will stink.

The growing fruit is not so delicate, but the storage time is still much shorter than the normal fruit.

In addition to the expansion plan of the bee colony, another previous experiment by Chen Chen also yielded results.

Chen Chen has been feeding most of the golden-ringed bees with deformed meat after the experiment showed that the golden-ringed bees can eat the distorted meat. When he checked this morning, Chen Chen was pleasantly surprised to find that some golden-ringed bees were distorted!

It’s not a mutation, it’s aberration like an aberration beast!

Most of the distorted golden ring bees have stings that have become distorted iron, a small part of which strengthens the thin wings, and the remaining 5% of the distorted bees strengthen other parts.

Among them, the distorted golden ring bee that strengthens the bee sting has the greatest increase in combat power, and the bee venom is much stronger than before. Now it is estimated that the poison of one bee sting can poison two rabbits.

The golden-ringed bee with strengthened wings can fly faster than before, and its combat power has hardly changed. The rest of the golden-ringed bees have stronger defenses, and stronger grasping powers... It’s a bit less interesting than the first two.

And the distorted Golden Ring Bees are still firmly controlled by Chen Chen, letting them fly wherever they go.

”However...these aberration bees also have great shortcomings.” Chen Chen commanded for a while, looking at these larger golden ring bees, ”Being irritable and not as smart as before, these aberration bees seem to be unable to explore materials. Basically it can only be used as a combat tool.”

Seeing this situation, Chen Chen immediately adjusted his strategy, ”The golden ring bee without distortion stopped supplying the distorted meat, and the larvae of the distorted hive are no longer taken care of by the bees. Those who are already distorted should continue to be raised, anyway, there is a lot of distorted meat.”

After seeing the situation of the bees, Chen Chen slowly climbed down the observation deck.

Chen Chen pointed at the big rubber badge on his chest and said, ”Xiao Luo, from now on record all kinds of data about the bees, and when this batch of bees grows up, start to carry out various experiments and start to actively cultivate more powerful bees.”

”Good master, Xiao Luo will collect all kinds of information through the camera images and the master’s experiments every time.”

In the past, the number of bees was small, and there was basically only one queen bee, so Chen Chen did not dare to toss.

But when this batch of bees grows up, the situation will be different. At that time, there will be a few extra queen bees.

Chen Chen has already thought about the research topics: research on the population changes of the golden-ringed queen bee after using deformed meat, research on reproductive isolation between the vigorous queen bee and Chinese drones, and research on the effect of super fruit feeding on the queen bee’s egg laying...

The small rubber speaker on the chest was assembled by Chen Chen with mechanical parts and electronic parts under the guidance of Xiao Luo. With a battery, this small speaker can be connected to Xiao Luo’s Wi-Fi.

In this way, Chen Chen can talk to Xiao Luo at any time and ask Xiao Luo questions.

Chen Chen went down to the platform Chen Chen to see the rabbits.

The little rabbits have all been fed with growing fruits three times, and now they are as big as their mothers.

Chen Chen took the brown male rabbit out of the female rabbit’s cage~www.wuxiaspot.com~ and put it into another female rabbit’s cage.

Chen Chen patted the male rabbit’s head, ”You have to work hard these days. I will give you a rabbit nest every day, so that you can give birth to bunnies as soon as possible.”

After admonishing the male rabbit, Chen Chen added fodder to the rabbits, and then went to the kitchen to eat.

After eating, Chen Chen took the shelter expansion module, went to the four reserved door frames, and opened a mushroom planting room, a breeding room, a vegetable planting room, and a working room, a total of four rooms, large and small.

After that, Chen Chen first connected the circuit to the breeding room, installed sun lights, and moved all the rabbits in.

Chen Chen said to the rubber speaker: ”Xiao Luo, give these rabbits the maximum amount of light every day, so that they can grow up quickly.”

Then Chen Chen took the sawdust to the kitchen.

In the kitchen, there is an earthen stove that Chen Chen used the power of earth to put together, and the large pot is just right to sterilize the sawdust.

According to the information given by the wind blowing rice flowers, Chen Chen put the wood chips mixed with plant debris on the cauldron for steam sterilization.

During disinfection, Chen Chen learned the knowledge of herbal medicine, waited for the sawdust to cool down, took the sawdust to the mushroom planting room, trapped the sawdust, sprinkled the spores collected in advance and sprayed it with water.

Afterwards, Chen Chen installed sun lamps in the planting room, pulled in a humidifier, and asked Xiao Luo to finely adjust the temperature and humidity in the room.

Chen Chen has no idea whether he can successfully grow mushrooms, but with the technical support of Fengchudaohua and Xiaoluo, it shouldn’t be a big problem.

After finishing the mushroom planting room, Chen Chen installed wooden boards in the workshop, hung various tools, and moved the tables and chairs into the workshop. The workshop immediately looked like that.

”For the time being, the vegetable planting period is over. The source of water is not stable at the moment. We will talk about it later.”
