Cursed Immortality

Chapter 1047: Godly Faith Nectar

’Godly Faith Nectar’, a term and name foreign in the entire Legendary Plains, and maybe only a handful of old monsters would be aware of it. However, even they wouldn’t have the complete, comprehensible knowledge about this particular treasure.

The only person in the entire legendary plains who has the most complete knowledge about the Godly Faith Nectar was the Holy Pontiff, Eliza!

But now, another person had been added to this list, and his understanding of the Godly Faith Nectar was more profound than that of the Holy Pontiff, and this person was naturally Jacob.

The moment Jacob stepped into the vicinity of the Holy Justice Citadel, Immortika, after a long time, took the initiative to summon itself and revealed the existence of the Godly Faith Nectar within the depths of the Citadel.

Jacob was naturally shocked at that time since this was a completely unexpected windfall because the Godly Faith Nectar was one of the components he needed to further progress in Cursed Immortality’s third phase.

According to the information Jacob got from the Cursed Book, the Godly Faith Nectar was an extraordinary divine substance born only from the purest, most fervent faith gathered by a Faith God from true believers—those whose devotion transcends doubt, and unknowingly, their souls are bound to the faith God’s divinity.

The Godly Faith Nectar formed over time, as prayers, worship, and acts of devotion accumulate, and then condense within the Faith God’s chosen temples, shrines, or such holy locations.

Only unwavering, selfless faith can crystallize into this nectar; superficial or forced worship will never produce even a drop. This nectar embodies not just spiritual energy but intent, devotion, and belief—making it the highest, purest currency of faith power.

For a Faith God, absorbing Godly Faith Nectar significantly strengthens the Faith God’s divinity, heals divine wounds, or nourishes their God’s Crown—allowing breakthroughs in divine rank.

The Godly Faith Nectar was essential to a Faith God, and the more believers a Faith God had, the more Godly Faith Nectar could be formed, helping to empower a Faith God to unimaginable heights.

It also depends on God’s connection to their believers, reinforcing faith bonds and strengthening the power of faith.

For mortals without the divinity of a Faith God, the Godly Faith Nectar can serve as a peerless alchemical catalyst, capable of purifying and enhancing pills or artifacts to nearly divine quality.

Moreover, consuming even a single drop could refine the soul, cleanse karma, heal grievous wounds, and dramatically increase comprehension of Laws related to faith, light, or holiness.

It can also temporarily grant a mortal a fraction of the god’s divine power or authority, but doing so carries significant risk, as the mortal’s soul might not withstand the influx of divinity.

Beyond power, Godly Faith Nectar symbolizes a god’s true worth—not in conquest, but in how deeply they are revered and worshiped.

In the end, Immortika ended its explanation with a rather profound sentence: ”Even Gods would envy another’s nectar, for it reflected not fear-forged worship but faith freely given!”

Jacob could only interpret it as the Godly Faith Nectar being something every Faith God coveted, and the more believers a Faith God had, the more Godly Faith Nectar they would accumulate.

The strange part about the Godly Faith Nectar was that the Gods could not form it; only through pure devotion and steadfast faith could it be formed.

However, even Jacob wasn’t expecting that the Godly Faith Nectar would exist within the Legendary Plains so far away from the higher plains.

Nonetheless, since the Cardinal Spirit Temple worshiped the Holy Justice God without question or doubt, having Godly Faith Nectar here no longer felt strange.

Furthermore, the moment Jacob heard the Godly Faith Nectar was within the Holy Justice Cardinal, he had already decided to claim it no matter what.

After all, Jacob felt it was easier to snatch the Godly Faith Nectar from the Legendary Plains in comparison to fighting for it in the Upper Plains, where the Gods rule.

As for why there weren’t other Faith Gods gathering the Godly Faith Nectar in the Legendary Plains by using the same method as the Holy Justice God, Jacob couldn’t understand this point, and it was most likely related to the power of the Holy Justice God or something else.

Nonetheless, Jacob didn’t care much as long as his personal needs were fulfilled.

That’s how Jacob, from the start, used Eliza’s greed for the Temple of the Blazing Flame against her, leading her to this point, and creating a fake divine inheritance that she would definitely be interested in.

This would not only save him the trouble of looking for the Godly Faith Nectar himself but also push Eliza into the depths of hell!

At that moment, Eliza seemed to be greatly shaken by Jacob’s prowess and seemed to be struggling against her greed and faith.

She was in a massive dilemma because if she decided to take the Godly Faith Nectar, she would most likely be cursed and abandoned by the Holy Justice God, and her backers in the Upper Plains would hunt her down at all costs.

Because the Godly Faith Nectar was forbidden to use by her or anyone else, and it was reserved only for the Holy Justice God.

After the Cardinal Spirit Temple accumulated a certain amount of it, Eliza personally employed a secret method to offer it to the Holy Justice God.

That’s why Eliza first reacted so strongly since Jacob was literally asking her to rebel against the Holy Justice God and the entire Cardinal Spirit Temple.

If she weren’t confident in taking Jacob down, she would’ve already attacked him, but Jacob’s soul force made her even more afraid of him.

In the end, after struggling for a while, Eliza took a deep breath as her spiral eyes swirled with resolve, she coldly declared, ”It seemed I’ve wasted your time. I’m unable to assist you with your request. I also suggest that you forget about ever getting the Godly Faith Nectar. Because you’ll be making an enemy out of a God!”
