Queen of Beasts: The boss becomes the savior by raising cubs

Chapter 2: One Line of Vitality

Chapter 2

The Fountain of Life seems to be used to raise plant-type babies, and it is an important prop for a novice like Ye Yanran. As for the other alchemy bottle that does not know its function, she dare not dispose of it casually.

This kind of thing that does not know the result is like a lottery, full of unknowns, Ye Yanran does not like gambling, she will not bet heavily on such uncertain factors.

For the time being, the alchemy bottle rewarded by novices can only be left in the system space to eat ashes.

Now the novice gift pack has been opened, and useful props have been obtained. At the same time, a new problem appeared. Ye Yanran was trapped in the dormitory. She needed to find a plant and use the source of life to evolve it into an awakened life.

Ye Yanran now has 2 choices:

1. Escape from the dormitory, find a random plant outside, use the source of life, let it evolve into an awakened super life, and become your own help.

However, there are many crises outside, not just the giant maple tree demon on the playground. There may also be hidden super-powered creatures evolved from some small wild beasts. Their lethality to humans is not much worse than that terrifying maple tree demon on the playground.

2. Hiding in the dormitory like the original owner, waiting for rescue who does not know if it will come.

It’s relatively safe to hide in the dormitory, but it won’t be long before she eats up all the food in the house.Sooner or later, like the boy on the playground just now, he will have to go out in order to find food. At that time, he will also face danger!

”Early death and late death are death, fight hard!”

Ye Yanran is not someone who waits to die passively, she likes to take opportunities into her own hands.

Now she can gain the ability to protect herself as long as she finds any plant, even if it is any flower or plant on the playground.

But there is a powerful maple tree demon on the playground, which has the ability to release vines from the ground to sneak attack, Ye Yanran can’t guarantee whether she can cultivate her first plant baby before the maple tree demon catches her.

Just when Ye Yanran was at a loss, she suddenly remembered that the housekeeper’s aunt had several pots of green plants on the balcony of the water room, including cacti, kumquats, Clivia and so on.

Her dormitory is very close to the water room, so she can take the risk.

After making a decision, Ye Yanran no longer hesitated, she got out of bed lightly, and carefully moved the table and chairs by the door.Just as she was trying to move the metal cabinet at the door, there was a ’creak’ sound, and a cabinet door suddenly opened.

Immediately afterwards, a pile of books slid from the cabinet to the floor, and there was a ”crash” sound, and the sound of heavy objects hitting the ground.

This sound of no more than 60 decibels reverberated in the empty dormitory, like a thunderous explosion in Ye Yanran’s ears.

In an instant, the hairs on Ye Yan’s back stood on end, and a drop of cold sweat fell from Ye Yanran’s forehead.

She held her breath, put her hands in place and didn’t dare to move, she felt a little ringing in her ears, and the beating sound of ’plop plop plop’ echoed in her ears.

I don’t know how long it took, Ye Yanran moved her footsteps lightly, but there was no sound from outside, it seemed that the various super creatures that came to the school to attack the students had already left.

But Ye Yanran still didn’t dare to be careless, she tried to gently move the metal cabinet at the door again. This time she was lucky, and she moved the metal cabinet smoothly without making any abnormal noise.

She pulled the latch very gently, and after repeated deep breaths, she finally opened the door of the dormitory with all her heart.

In the corridor, various books were scattered, as well as some blood-stained broken clothes, and even some unidentifiable parts of minced meat were scattered in the corridor, with white maggots wriggling slowly on the minced meat.

On the walls of the corridor, there were several scratches several centimeters deep, as well as spray-like blood stains. Even on the roof of the corridor, there were some blood-red feline paw prints of different sizes.

In the air, there was a stench of toilets that hadn’t been flushed for a long time, and the smell of rotting flesh. These two intertwined smells constantly hit Ye Yanran’s nasal cavity, and she retched uncontrollably.

After getting used to it for a while, Ye Yanran covered her mouth and nose, and walked lightly to the water room in the middle of the corridor.

In the water room, an entire faucet was torn off by some creature profiteering, and was twisted like a twist and discarded in the sink.

Ye Yanran gently avoided the thermos and plastic basins scattered on the ground, and walked carefully to the balcony.

When she saw the potted kumquat plant on the balcony that was about to dry up, she couldn’t stop her ecstasy. She walked quickly to the kumquat potted plant, intending to take the potted plant to the faucet and pour some water on it.

The moment Ye Yanran touched the kumquat tree with her right hand, a system prompt came to her ears.

[Drip: I found the unawakened plant ’Kumquat’, whether it is included in the plant illustrated book. 】

Ye Yanran’s eyes lit up, she only remembered that she had a system item that could upgrade plants to awakened life, and she forgot that she also had the skill of a plant illustrated book.

She nodded happily, silently calling for the plant illustrated book in her heart.

[Plant Illustrated Book: Kumquat (unawakened). 1/5】

[Kumquat (unawakened): blue star native plant, Rutaceae kumquat is an evergreen shrub, the tree can reach a height of 3 meters, the leaves are thick, ovate-lanceolate or oblong, and the top is slightly pointed or blunt.
Training Direction: Orange Demon (Awakening Level), Orange Essence (Awakening Level)]

Ye Yanran couldn’t wait to check how to cultivate an ordinary kumquat tree into an orange demon.

[Orange Demon: Inject wood-type abilities into the kumquat tree in a specific way, causing it to slowly evolve and awaken into a super life. The Orange Demon is good at using strong vines to attack enemies.

Skill: Vine Entangling (Release strong vines entangling the enemy)]

[Orange Essence: Inject wood-type abilities into the kumquat tree in a specific way, causing it to slowly evolve and awaken into a super life. Orange essence is good at using abilities to condense oranges with extraordinary effects.

Skills: Spiritual Orange (an orange that contains spiritual power, which can replenish power points.), Detoxification Orange (an orange that contains spiritual power, can relieve negative states.)]

”Wow!”

After seeing the two cultivation directions of kumquats, Ye Yanran’s eyes lit up with excitement. She never thought that an ordinary kumquat tree could be awakened into such a powerful awakening-level life form.

Moreover, the kumquat tree can evolve in two directions, one is an assistant with control, and the other is a nanny who restores blood and detoxifies!
The orange demon should be similar to the maple tree demon on the playground just now. It uses vines to trap enemies. This is a skill that can both attack and control.

For Ye Yanran, an unarmed person, what he needs most is this kind of powerful controlling baby.

It was a good thing that the plant illustrated book gave Ye Yanran two ways to raise babies, but the biggest problem now is that Ye Yanran didn’t have time to slowly cultivate this kumquat tree into the orange demon she wanted.

Now she could be attacked by super creatures hiding in the dormitory anytime and anywhere, and she needed immediate help.
