Esper Harem in the Apocalypse

Chapter 1034  Movie Time with Jessica and Rebecca

Rudy, Jessica, and Rebecca were watching a movie on the television in the living room. Since there was only one couch directly facing the television, they were sharing the same couch.

The movie was chosen by Jessica since it was her idea to watch, and neither Rudy nor Rebecca had any idea what kind of movie they were watching.

Rebecca asked her about the genre but Jessica told her that it would be better if it was kept a secret. However, judging by how things were going since the movie started, Rudy was certain that it was a horror movie.

Although it had only been 20 minutes, three murders had already occurred. Still, the murders seemed natural, coincidental, and unrelated to what was happening in the movie.

The movie had gained Rudyʼs curiosity, and he couldnʼt wait for the movie to progress.

ʼThis seems like a good movie. How come I have never watched it before? Now that I have a fragment of my memory of my past life, the chances of me having already watched this movie should have been higher.

Sure, there were many movies that I purposely avoided despite them being a talk around the town. I had a rule when watching something. If it had something that I didnʼt like, I wouldnʼt even touch it. It was a lame thought process, but I am amazed how I stuck to it till the very end.

This movie could be one of those movies, which means… something I donʼt like will happen. The question is, should I continue watching it, knowing that it would put me in a bad mood?ʼ

Rudy glanced at Jessica, who was engrossed in the movie. He then looked at Rebecca, who seemed interested in the movie as well.

ʼWhy is she so focused?ʼ Rudy wondered. ʼCould it be that itʼs her first time watching this movie too?ʼ

Rudy pondered on what he should do. Should he leave or stay?

ʼI can simply say that I am tired after swimming all day and I feel sleepy, but that could ruin the family moment we are currently having. Besides, this movie might not contain something that I disliked.ʼ

In the end, Rudy decided to stay and watch the rest of the movie with Jessica and Rebecca.

Thirty minutes later, four more murders had occurred, but the face of the murderer was never shown and the people who were killed were random people, which wouldnʼt even be considered as a cast since they had no screen time except a few seconds where their dead body was shown.

A few more minutes passed by and it was getting tough to understand the plot of the movie. There were so many questions that needed to be answered. Why were random people getting killed and the most important question, who the hell was the main character of the movie?

Rudy was slowly losing interest in the movie. He no longer cared what would happen next. He just wanted the movie to end as soon as possible.

However, just a few minutes later, Rudy was impressed by the movie.

Rudy was the type of person who would guess the plot and the twists as soon as he connected the dots, but this movie was different, which made him interested in the movie. He had begun to realize the main plot twist of the movie, but he needed to connect a few dots to be completely certain.

It was then revealed that the people who were murdered werenʼt actually random. In fact, all of them were classmates when they were in high school, which was almost twenty years ago.

A few minutes later, Rebecca got up and went to the kitchen to drink water.

”Sis, can you bring me some water too?” Jessica asked politely.

”Umm… me too, mom.”

Rudy and Jessica water for a minute for Rebecca to bring them water, but when they looked at the kitchen, she wasnʼt there.

She had gone to her room to sleep.

”Looks like the movie bored her…” Jessica muttered.

”Well, the movie tested my patience, too.”

Rudy got up from the couch and went to the kitchen to grab a water bottle so they wouldnʼt have to get up again to drink water. After drinking, he handed the bottle to Jessica and sat on-the-spot Rebecca was previously been sitting.

He then continued, ”They took an hour to reveal something. Believe me, if I were watching this in a theater, I would have already left after forty minutes.”

”Critics blamed that for its box office failure.”

Rudy shot a quick glance at Jessica as he recalled what he had seen on her laptop.

ʼI donʼt usually judge people. They are free to do whatever they want to do as long as they keep it to themselves. Thatʼs not weird. They can watch any type of porn they want. But finding an incest aunt and nephew porn… I donʼt know what to think about it.

Jessica is my aunt, and I am her nephew. She knows that I use her laptop even so, she was careless and watched that type of porn. Could it be that she has some kind of incest fetish? Now that I think about it, she must have used that excuse to sleep in the same bed as me.

Should I be worried about her? She didnʼt exist in the past Worldline, so she is like a stranger to me in a relationship. Itʼs not that I donʼt see her as a relative, but I canʼt see her as one. It has only been a few days and I donʼt know much about her.ʼ

While Rudy was busy in his thoughts, he ended up falling asleep without realizing. After all, he had used too much of his powers that left him mentally tired. Not to mention, he regained a fragment of his memories, which also toll a toll on his brain.

He needed a rest.

However, Jessica had something else in her mind when she noticed Rudy had fallen asleep.

At first, she tried to call his name to make sure he was indeed sleeping. She then touched his leg with her leg and proceeded to make bolder moves. She got close to him and got on top of him without leaving her weight on him.

She moved her face close to his face and licked her lips. And without wasting a single second, she kissed him on the lips.
