Esper Harem in the Apocalypse

Chapter 1011  Awakening Powers, Yet Again

Rebecca couldnʼt resist a mischievous grin as she playfully teased Jessica, ”You used to call Rudy ʼDaddyʼ when you were a kid, and now you want to be romantically involved with him? Thatʼs quite the transformation.”

Jessica, rolling her eyes, defended herself with a laugh, ”Oh, come on, Becca. Iʼm older than Rudy, and itʼs not like Iʼm robbing the cradle. I just want him to love me romantically. But if that doesnʼt happen, no big deal. I wonʼt force anything on him.”

Rebecca, still in a teasing mood, pondered for a moment and then pointed out, ”Well, you know, Rudy already has a girlfriend. Heʼs not exactly on the market for a new relationship.”

Jessica chuckled, nonchalantly shrugging her shoulders, ”Oh, please. Rudyʼs going to have a harem. Thatʼs not an issue.”

Rebecca raised an eyebrow, considering Jessicaʼs carefree attitude. ”Are you really okay with that? Rudy having a harem?”

Jessica shrugged nonchalantly, ”What can I do if he wants a harem? Instead of opposing it, I could support him and maybe even join his harem.”

Rebecca sighed, muttering to herself, ”I canʼt stop either of you, can I?” Looking at Jessica, she warned, ”Just donʼt go overboard with Rudy before he turns 18. We donʼt want any unnecessary complications.”

Jessica winked, ”No promises, Becca. Lifeʼs too short for boundaries.”

Rebecca folded her arms, her expression stern. ”That was not a request, but a warning!”

Jessica leaned back on Rudyʼs bed, a mischievous glint in her eyes. ”Relax. Even if something happens, Iʼll let you know. Donʼt worry. Until then, Iʼll pamper my nephew so he can pamper me afterward.” She licked her lips playfully.

Rebecca shook her head in disbelief, muttering, ”Youʼve watched too much porn. Itʼs corrupted you.”

”Hentais, not porn,” Jessica corrected with a sly grin.

”Whatever. Itʼs the same thing. Now, come help me with breakfast.” Rebecca grabbed Jessicaʼs arm, pulling her out of Rudyʼs room.

”Aw, come on! Let me sleep a bit more.”

As Jessica and Rebecca descended the stairs, they heard the door open, and Rudy walked in.

Rebecca, eyeing him with suspicion, asked, ”Where did you go?”

Rudy, a casual smile on his face, replied, ”Just went for a quick jog.”

Rebecca, bustling around the kitchen, called out to Rudy, ”Itʼs going to take us a while to prepare breakfast. Why donʼt you take a bath until then?”

Rudy agreed with a nod and headed to his room to retrieve his school uniform. As he descended the stairs, ready to make his way to the bathroom, Jessica, with a mischievous grin, asked, ”Interested in a bath together, Rudy?”

Caught off guard, he hesitated, unsure how to respond. Before he could say anything, Rebecca intervened, calling Jessicaʼs name with a stern glare, effectively shutting down any further suggestions.

Rudy, feeling a bit awkward, proceeded to the bathroom. The warm water in the bathtub offered a welcome escape, and he closed his eyes, allowing the relaxation to wash over him.

Rudy looked at his hands and muttered, ”So I am one of those people who entered the tower? No… why do I think thatʼs not the case? I can somehow do anything I want, anything I can think of..”

”I donʼt want to admit it, but when I was jogging, my mind was occupied with that place where I had that vision of the tunnel… and the next moment, I was there. And then when I saw that figure heading into the woods, I wanted to run away from there, but deep down… I was curious.

But why didnʼt it work when I was wishing to get out of there? Perhaps it requires me to do something to trigger that teleportation process?”

Rudy was slowly learning about his powers.

”When I decided to fight the monsters and ran towards them, I wished I could run fast and the next moment, I achieved super speed. When I swung my fist to punch them, I wished I could obliterate them in one punch and thatʼs exactly what happened.

Could it be that my power is whatever I want to do? I teleported back to the house upon my wish. Hmm~” Rudy hummed in amusement and pondered a way to test his theory.

He raised his hand to his eye level and muttered, ”Letʼs see.”

The next moment, fire manifested in his palm.

”Holy shit! It worked! Let me try water.”

Water came out of Rudyʼs finger, as if there was a tap. Rudy then tried to use wind and it felt as if someone had turned on the fan or left the window open.

”What about lightning?” Rudy wondered. ”But… using lightning when I was surrounded by the water… Thatʼs… risky. But… I am curious…”

In the end, curiosity got the best of him and he conjured lightning in his hands, but the next second, Rudy was electrocuted by his own lightning, leaving him severely injured and bleeding in the bathtub.

The bathtub was filled red with Rudyʼs blood and the room smelled like burnt flesh.

”Fuck me… why am I so stupid…?”

Immediately, Rudyʼs wounds began to heal and the next second, his body was completely healed, as if nothing had happened. However, the bathtub was still red and the room smelled the same.

”Looks like… I have the power of regeneration too…? Did it happen automatically, or my thoughts subconsciously triggered this? Seriously, this power is very dangerous. What if I end up doing something I donʼt want to… just because I am curious about it? I have got to be careful and control my damn thoughts.”

Rudy emptied the bathtub and washed it multiple times to take out the crimson from the room. But he didnʼt know what to do about the smell of the burnt flesh.

”How am I supposed to produce a fragrance?”

While glancing around the bathroom, Rudyʼs gaze fell on a perfume, so he grabbed it and sprayed it all around the room until the fragrance of the perfume had consumed the smell of the burnt flesh.

He used perfume as an air freshener.

After wearing his clothes, he joined Jessica and Rebecca for breakfast and got ready for school. He had no idea he was going to meet his supposed girlfriend in the school.
