Chapter 1 Reborn as a National Treasure, Mutated Iron Eater

Blue Star 2112, a global catastrophe, a virus outbreak!

Human beings become infected with viruses and become zombies, or genetic mutations become mutants.

Animals are also genetically mutated and turned into terrifying mutant monsters!

Human civilization is vulnerable to such terrible disasters. Human civilization has been severely damaged, and human beings are also on the verge of extinction. The whole country has entered a first-level alert!
City H, a dilapidated zoo.

”My mother! How did I become a panda!”

A newborn red panda was lying on the edge of the pool, looking at the reflection in the water in shock, revealing an inconceivable human look.

His name was Xiong Huai, and he died of the virus. Unexpectedly, he would become a national treasure panda when he woke up!

”God has treated me so kindly! It even made me reborn as a national treasure panda. Although it is an animal, it is the emperor of animals. I don’t have to run around for work anymore, I can just lie down.”

Xiong Huai is very satisfied with his identity as a panda, which is better than being reborn as a pig or dog.

Looked around.

”Why is it so dilapidated, is this the place where I, the animal emperor, should live?”

He was stupefied with a cute look, and accidentally fell down, rolled directly, and hit a hard object.

He thought he had hit a rock, but when he took a closer look, he hit a giant panda like a hill. It almost scared him to death. Why is this panda so big? !

but seems to be dead.
”This is my mother, no, is it the mother of the little panda? This is too big. As a national treasure, no one cares how it died. It’s not right.”

He finally came to his senses, took staggering steps, fell down after two steps, and walked out of the destroyed fence.

At a glance, he saw walking zombies, giant tigers, giant lizards, and giant peacocks.
Nima, am I reborn in the doomsday world? !
He thought that by becoming a national treasure, he could lie down and enjoy a supreme life. Unexpectedly, God opened a world for him. No, it was a joke from the sky, and he was reborn in the apocalyptic world.

”Could it be that I was reborn in 2112!”

He lives in 2021. A long time ago, some scientists predicted that 2012 would be the end of the world, but the prediction did not come true. Earthquakes, tsunamis, and typhoons are happening all over the world.

In 2021, the virus broke out again, and he died of the virus infection. Scientists predicted that 100 years is a reincarnation. By 2112, the end of the world will really come, and all the previous disasters are preludes.

Suddenly, a mutated peacock devoured a mutated lizard in one gulp. After devouring, the mutated peacock’s body became bigger, and its eyes fixed on the little panda.

”I’m going, I’m staring at me, run!”

Xiong Huai was so frightened that he ran quickly, but with his small arms and legs, he couldn’t run fast. He fell down as soon as he took two steps and rolled into a meat ball, but his speed was much faster.

Come on, come on, he cheered himself up, the peacock opened its mouth, devouring the sky and the earth, and the terrifying devouring power swept it up.

”Help! Who will save this panda!” Xiong Huai yelled for help.

Just as he was about to be eaten by the mutated peacock, suddenly, a large amount of pebbles came towards the peacock and hit it. The devouring was interrupted and the red panda fell from the air.

Suddenly, a force dragged his body, and the next second he fell into a gentle embrace.

It was an eleven or twelve-year-old girl!
She was also infected with the virus, but instead of becoming a zombie, she became a mutant and awakened her spiritual powers.

”Don’t be afraid, I will protect you.”

”Ability, is this the ability in the novel?”

Xiong Huai didn’t expect that this little girl turned out to be a superpower, but Peacock chased after her. At this moment, Xiong Huai suddenly felt unwell. Her round body began to grow bigger and stronger, and her teeth... The claws also became sharp and extremely hard. The little girl couldn’t hold him anymore, and looked at him in shock!
”Mutated”

He took a few steps back in fear.

”It’s over, I’m going to mutate too.”

He had an inexplicable fear in his heart, fearing that he would turn into a monster and eat people everywhere. The virus he was infected was brought out from his mother, but the virus had a period of incubation, and he began to mutate at this time.

Suddenly, a voice came from my mind, ”The host gene mutates to fit the phagocytic gene evolution system, is it bound?”

”system!”

Xiong Huai was very excited. He thought it would be awesome to be reborn as a national treasure, but he didn’t expect to awaken the system.

”Bind!”

”Successful binding of the phagocytic gene evolution system!”

Something like a game properties panel appeared in my mind.

Host: Xiong Huai

Species: Mutant Iron Eater
Level: Yellow-level low-level mutant beast
Bloodline abilities: devour, berserk (double combat power)

Gene evolution: 0/100
Attack: 40
Speed: 10
Defense: 60
Devouring power: 50
Comprehensive Combat Strength: 80
Power Points: 0
”Alarm, yellow-level mid-level mutated peacock attack, combat power 150.” The system automatically scans.

Seeing that the little girl was about to be eaten by the mutated peacock, Xiong Huai decisively used his berserk ability, and his combat power instantly doubled to 160, stronger than that of the peacock!
Attack, defense, and speed have all been greatly improved!

Standing in front of the little girl with a two-meter-tall body, he slapped the mutated peacock with a paw, and the mutated peacock flew away with a slap!

And the berserk Xionghuai Beast X was also difficult to control and became violent. It grabbed the mutated peacock’s wings and tore off the wings alive. It was extremely ferocious and devoured the mutated peacock in one bite!

”The host devours a yellow-level mid-level mutant peacock and gains 50 energy points.”

Xiong Huai turned around and looked at the little girl who had rescued him before. The little girl looked at him in horror. In the end, Xiong Huai’s humanity defeated the beast, allowing him to regain his clarity and not kill the little girl.

The little girl also seemed to know that he would not hurt him, and the fear in her eyes slowly disappeared.

Roar!
With a startling tiger roar, a mutated giant tiger rushed towards the little girl. Xiong Huai raised his palm and slapped the mutated giant tiger on the head, sending it flying with a terrifying force.

Xiong Huai protected the little girl behind him, the saber-toothed tiger roared angrily, and attacked Xiong Huai at an extremely fast speed.

Xiong Huai was hit by a claw, but his body was like a meat shield, with rough skin and thick flesh, and strong defensive power. The saber-toothed tiger’s attack power did not cause substantial damage to him, but only scratched the skin a little.

Scan the mutant giant tiger.

”Yellow-level mid-level mutant tiger, with a combat power of 180.”

Much stronger than the previous mutated peacocks, Xiong Huai used the energy points obtained from devouring the mutated peacocks to improve his combat power.

”Friendly reminder, energy points can only be used to evolve genes, increase attack, defense, speed, and phagocytosis, and cannot be directly used to increase combat effectiveness. The limit of combat effectiveness of yellow-level low-level mutant beasts is 100, and only 40 energy points can be used to increase combat effectiveness.” raised to the limit.”

”40 energy points increase attack power.”

Xiong Huai uses 40 energy points to increase attack and defense.

Panel data changes.

Host: Xiong Huai

Species: Mutant Iron Eater

Bloodline abilities: devour, berserk (double combat power)

Gene evolution: 0/100
Attack: 80
Speed: 10

The combat power has increased, and the body has also grown to more than ten feet. After the berserk, the combat power has doubled, soaring to 240!

The mutated giant tiger attacked him, he struck out with one claw, disemboweled the mutated giant tiger, then opened his mouth, and blasted the mutated giant tiger’s head in one bite!

Ka Ka Ka!
The mutated giant tiger was bitten and eaten, and its bones were crispy. The name of the iron-eating beast was not for nothing. Even steel can be eaten as food. Xiong Huai finally devoured the mutated giant tiger cleanly.

”The host devours a yellow-level mid-level mutated giant tiger and gains 90 energy points.”

There are already 130 energy points, which is enough to evolve.

”evolution!”

Xiong Huai’s body grew again, reaching more than three feet, almost ten meters tall. It was like a giant panda!
No, now that it has mutated, it is called an iron-eating beast. He feels his own strength soaring, and his whole body is full of explosive power!
