Demonic Po*nstar System

Chapter 500: Cute and Loving

”What a shame,” Calypso murmured, staring at the softly drifting motes of light around Kaiden. ”I liked the little ball of energy.”

Aria slowly... very slowly turned her head.

The side-eye she gave the demoness could have curdled holy water.

Then she rolled her eyes so hard the demoness worried they’d get stuck.

”I can’t believe you actually thought, even for a second, that Kaiden would eat his own sister.”

Calypso lifted both hands in surrender and brought forth the most surefire defense case she could.

”I’m still adjusting. Human taboos confuse me. You people used to strictly marry in the family, but now suddenly it’s disgusting?”

”Those were medieval royals, we told you many times! We’re living in the modern world! How can you not get it?!”

The demoness shrugged nonchalantly. ”I think those ancestors of yours were onto something.”

”Argh! I don’t believe this,” Aria looked ready to tear her own skin off from frustration. Indeed, while the Kaiden-Alice conversation was going on, the rest of the ladies held a ’demoness education’ meeting about why incest was not okay.

Clearly, they did not manage to get through that thick demonic skull of hers.

As the Infernal Matriarch and the Moon Valkyrie began throwing verbal jabs, Nyx stepped forward.

Calm and focused, there was no teasing in those eyes of hers for once.

She lifted a hand toward him, fingers faintly trembling.

”Kaiden... are you okay?”

He looked down at himself.

Mismatched eyes, halo, lingering particles of celestial light stuck to his skin.

He raised his arms experimentally.

”... Huh.”

”Am I okay?” he echoed.

A moment of silence came.

Then he grinned.

”Yeah. Actually, yeah. I feel amazing.”

His grin only deepened as he read further into the notification he’d just now received.

Kaiden raised an eyebrow.

”...Professional name, at least.”

Alice’s voice rang sharply inside his head—offended, dramatic, absolutely indignant.

Before Kaiden could even react, a prompt appeared.

[The Conduit expresses dissatisfaction with the ability name.

Would the Conduit like to rename the effect?

Y/N]

Alice squealed in delight.

”OH MY GOD, IS THIS THE SYSTEM IN YOUR HEAD?!”

Her voice echoed like she was bouncing around in an empty cathedral made of neurons.

Kaiden pinched the bridge of his nose. ”Yes, Alice. It’s the System.”

The halo above his head pulsed brightly, like a lightbulb flickering with excitement.

”YES, I WANT TO CHANGE THE NAME!!” she declared.

Kaiden braced himself. He already knew a disaster was on the horizon.

Alice began brainstorming.

”Hmm... Light of Eternal- No, too dramatic... Sibling Radiance Synchron... Ugh, too nerdy... Big Brother Empowered...? Wait, maybe... No, no...”

Then her energy surged.

She gasped loudly. Kaiden felt it vibrate through the link.

”I GOT IT!!

”Cute and Loving Little Sister’s Boundless Love for her Beloved Big Brother!!”

”...”

Kaiden stared at the inside of his eyelids.

Emotionless.

Deadpan.

Done.

”You said the word ’love’ three times, Alice...”

The system chimed again:

[Name change requested: Cute and Loving Little Sister’s Boundless Love for her Beloved Big Brother!!

Dominant Core approval required.

Permit name change?

Y/N]

Kaiden’s eyebrow twitched.

’Is this for real?’

But, well, at least he noticed something that lifted his mood slightly.

The system listened to him over her, asking for his permission to let the girl go through with this utter nonsense. It showed that no matter what was going on right now, he was still the owner of the system.

As for her selected name...

Figures.

He sighed.

It was a sound that was entirely exasperated, and in disbelief, but by the time the last of it left his lungs, it turned into a soft, amused sigh.

This was so very much Alice.

”... No need to stop her. Let Alice have her fun.”

Alice’s giggling filled his entire skull like confetti exploding in a tin can.

The halo above him flashed with delighted brilliance as the system processed the update.

[Name successfully changed.]

Kaiden closed his eyes.

He really, really hoped no one else would ever see the title ”Cute and Loving Little Sister’s Boundless Love for her Beloved Big Brother!!”

Ever.

Especially when he finally acquired the ability to change into the Great Demon of Wrath form and go on an ultra badass rampage. If his final boss enemy, in the middle of their brutal showdown, somehow realized that such a skill was activated, Kaiden would not know what to do besides accept defeat on the spot.

The girls closed in from every direction like curious predators who’d just watched their favorite toy explode into sparkles.

Luna was the first to reach him, eyes narrowing as she circled around his side.

”...Why is your shirt gone?”

Kaiden blinked and looked down.

His abs glistened under drifting motes of light.

”... I have absolutely no idea,” he admitted.

”The little sister must’ve ripped it off when she did whatever this is,” Nyx mused, making a very possible guess.

Aria stepped up next, letting her fingertips brush his ribs as she inspected him with clinical precision.

”Muscle density increased a bit even further, I think... Wow...”

Her fingers trailed across his abs with the eyes of a gym girl who struck pure diamond. She looked ready to start drooling.

In this manner, the girls surrounded their man, touching his skin, looking to see if anything had changed.

Some concerned, some... Occupied.

Calypso and Bastet?

Yeah. Forget ”inspect.”

They pounced.

Calypso’s palm ran boldly along his chest with unhidden interest. ”I want to lick so bad...”

She then met his eyes, gave a quick shrug, and declared, ”Eh, being reserved is not my style.” She then leaned down, tracing a trail of saliva along his abs before pulling back to lick her lips. ”Delish~” she purred.

Meanwhile, Bastet stood behind him, fingers ghosting his skin, outright vibrating with barely suppressed hunger. Her eyes were needy as she sniffed his skin. ”Master, you smell so appetizing,” she whispered, utterly depraved, and began nuzzling her head against his back in a very needy manner.

Just then...

*BRRRRRRRM!!*

The halo above his head flashed bright red.

Like an emergency alarm in a nuclear reactor.

The girls all froze.

Alice’s voice boomed through Kaiden’s halo:

”No one touches my brother while he’s in ’Cute and Loving Little Sister’s Boundless Love for her Beloved Big Brother!!’ mode!>

Every woman in the room stared at him.

Slowly.

Very slowly.

Their eyes slid up.

To the red, screaming halo.

Then back down to Kaiden.

Then back to the halo.

Then...

They all turned their heads toward him with the exact same look:

”... Cute and Loving what?”

”Kai?”

”Master?”

”Darling?”

”Explain.”

Kaiden’s soul re-entered his body solely so he could suffer properly.

His face drained of color.

He looked two seconds away from performing a full backflip off the nearest high-rise balcony.
