Demonic Po*nstar System

Chapter 496: Unhinged Little Sister

Then Calypso’s grin widened. ”With the pest control out of the way, tell me! What’s next in store for us, Darling? We need to grow stronger, both in levels and Dungeon Master Points! And although I don’t really get it, I was told we also need to rank up your system by having steamy sex and selling the recording to horny women! I am ready whenever!”

Luna didn’t even get to enjoy the silence Calypso shattered, because many heads in the room turned toward her with the exact same expression.

Wry.

Knowing.

Accusing.

Kaiden slowly rotated his head toward her, the motion stiff. Aria, still curled contentedly in his lap, didn’t bother to look for she enjoyed her throne’s comfy cushion and warmth too much, but she still sighed and shook her head, looking a bit akin to a disappointed schoolteacher marking a failed quiz.

Bastet’s shoulders trembled with amusement as the felinid tried to remain the composed desert queen, with one juicy tanned thigh over the other in her best attempt at silently and without being detected seducing her man and master.

It wasn’t that she wanted for a round right now, per se, but for the competitive felinid who did not want to be outdone by anyone, enticing Kaiden, keeping him interested in her, and being as beautiful as possible has become a natural thing to do for the woman without even having to actively think about it.

One could argue that the Solar Empress has unlocked a new passive skill, namely, [Repeatedly and Subtly Seducing My Man Over And Over Again Until He Can’t Imagine Being With Any Other Woman].

Nyx, just as amused as the tanned kitten, didn’t even try hiding her grin.

Luna looked around at the stares, utterly baffled. ”What?”

No one answered.

The silence was so pointed it might as well have been a neon arrow floating above her head saying: SHE TOLD HER.

The language that the demoness used to ask her question made the culprit obvious.

Alice, on the other hand, poor, precious Alice, had a different reaction from the dry expressions. The teenage girl went crimson from her collarbone to her ears. She lifted both hands to her face, fingers splayed, eyes wide in mortified realization. It was not the complete innocence of a young girl who did not know what those words implied; rather, it was the exact look of a teenage girl who knew exactly what those words implied, and got flustered because of it.

But then...

Alice’s initial fluster melted into something darker the moment the implications truly settled.

Her blush stayed, but her eyes sharpened with possessive indignation.

”You can’t do that! Not with MY big brother! Lick each other or something, you horny hussies!!”

”...”

Alice’s outburst hit the room like a thrown brick.

Kaiden dragged both hands down his face and let out a long, soul-drained exhale, the kind a man released when he finally accepted that his life had gone wildly off the rails.

”Why me...” he muttered into his palms.

This wasn’t clinginess anymore. Clingy was manageable.

This was weaponized sibling attachment.

This was federal offense levels of devotion.

This was a documentary waiting to happen.

Aria, seeing the exact moment her boyfriend’s spirit left his body, shifted from relaxed cuddle mode into full tender girlfriend emergency response.

She scooted closer in his lap, slid her arms around him, and pulled him into her chest this time. It was a gentle, soothing gesture, akin to comforting a man who’d just watched his future flash before his eyes, and it was full of headaches.

He loved Alice dearly. She was the most amazing little sister in the whole world. He did not want the girl to be barred from visiting him in his home, but gods, if she wasn’t one hell of an unhinged brocon, then no one was.

Alice knew his system; she understood that film production would not stop.

Yet she was still having unhinged outbursts about it.

”There, there,” Aria murmured, brushing his ear with her hot breath and hair with tender fingers full of sympathy. As an elder sibling herself, she had some insight into his troubles... Though neither Lux nor Damien were this ’unique...’

”It’ll be okay, Kai...”

He didn’t look convinced.

Across the room, Alice stood with fists balled, cheeks burning, expression declaring war on every woman alive.

Calypso blinked at her, tail lifting, expression genuinely puzzled as if she were carefully considering the logistics rather than the outrage behind the words.

”Lick the other women? Why would I do that? Have you gone mad?” she asked slowly, studying Alice like a riddle. ”Maybe the kitty over there has a nice tongue, I don’t know, but nothing compared to your big brother’s big, handsome, fat, juicy co-”

Nyx slid smoothly in beside her, hand cupping the demoness’s cheek and redirecting her head away, akin to someone gently steering a grenade.

She leaned in and began whispering.

Very quietly.

Very urgently.

Calypso’s eyes went wide, attentive, as if receiving tactical briefings.

Nyx murmured, voice soft but strained, ”Alice is a very... Uhm... Confused girl right now. We suspect it to be a hormonal thing, combined with her unique upbringing in a cold household where Kaiden was the only bright light in her days. But what Alice seems to want is a massive taboo among humans, so we girls decided it’s best not to provoke her. We assume it’s just a phase that will pass once she gets older and more mature. So please do not discuss your sexual experiences with her big brother in front of her.”

Calypso blinked again, utterly lost.

”What’s wrong with incest? It keeps the bloodline pure of genetic deficiencies.”

Nyx froze.

Her soul visibly left her body for a moment. It was at this moment that the Space Valkyrie realized that not only was Calypso lost when it came to human customs, but also that she had her own preconceived thoughts about the matter, thoughts which might greatly differ from those shared by humans.

Then she inhaled through her nose, closed her eyes, and gathered her thoughts.

When she opened them, she spoke with careful patience.

”In human society,” she began, ”inbreeding results in deformed babies. And-”

Calypso lifted a finger, mouth opening-

Nyx immediately touched her own finger to Calypso’s lips in a shhh gesture, eyes narrowing.

”Before you say it, let me address that, yes, maybe such a thing can be prevented with the magic that we have today. But that does not erase thousands of years of history and disgust toward inbreeding.”

Calypso’s brows furrowed.

”But if the offspring are fine, why would the opinion of outsiders matter? Just kill them if they bother us.”

Nyx’s eye twitched. It was going to be a long discussion. One, she did not know if she could win.

At the same time, Alice was perking her ears, trying to listen in on the conversation.

But then Kaiden rose and grabbed the girl by the shoulder, dragging her away.

He decided that this can’t go on. It was time to talk.

After which, with the ChronosX saga over with, it was time to move on to the big stage!
