Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 948 - 429: Shadow Council (2)

The terrain here is flat, with an open view, very suitable for large-scale battles.

The members of the Shadow Council had already gathered here, wearing black robes and holding staffs or weapons, their eyes gleaming with evil light.

”It seems all the members of the Shadow Council are here.” David looked at the distant enemies and said, ”We must also prepare ourselves to face this final duel.”

Aria, Lianna, and Nova all nodded in agreement.

They each checked their equipment and magic to ensure they were in optimal condition.

Then the four of them walked together to the center of the plain, facing the members of the Shadow Council.

”Members of the Shadow Council, listen!” David shouted loudly, ”You’ve been manipulating various forces and creatures in the Dark World, trying to achieve your ambitions and desires! But today is your doom! We will no longer allow you to harm the Dark World!”

The members of the Shadow Council sneered, as if hearing the biggest joke.

”You think you can stop us? It’s absolutely ridiculous!”

A leading figure in a black robe shouted, ”Today, let me show you the true power of the Shadow Council!”

Saying this, members of the Shadow Council began to wield their magic and skills, launching attacks on the four.

Dark Energy Waves, Dark Fireballs, and Dark Tentacles emerged endlessly, trying to defeat the four.

However, with firm belief and powerful strength, the four continued to dodge and counterattack, gradually gaining the upper hand.

”Come on, everyone!” Lianna waved her magic staff and shouted, ”We can defeat the Shadow Council and save the Dark World!”

Encouraged by Lianna, the four fought even harder.

They used their magic and skills to maneuver and look for opportunities to defeat the members of the Shadow Council.

After a fierce struggle, they found the weakness of the Shadow Council — their coordination was not smooth!

It turned out that although the members of the Shadow Council possessed powerful Dark Power, they lacked sufficient trust and coordination among themselves.

In battle, they often fought independently, unable to form effective synergy.

In contrast, David and the three witches gradually broke through the defenses of the Shadow Council by sticking together and coordinating perfectly, forcing them to retreat!

”It looks like the Shadow Council can no longer hold on!” Nova waved her magic staff and laughed, ”We will soon achieve victory!”

However, at that moment, an unexpected situation occurred!

A member of the Shadow Council suddenly took out a mysterious Magical Artifact and released a powerful burst of Dark Power towards the four!

This power was extraordinarily strong and strange, making it difficult for the four to resist for a while!

”Be careful!” David shouted to alert his companions, ”This is the Shadow Council’s secret weapon, we must handle it carefully!”

With David’s warning, the four hurriedly unleashed strong magic and skills to resist the Dark Power.

After a lot of effort, they finally managed to fend off the attack but suffered significant injuries.

”This secret weapon is terrifying!” Aria gasped and said, ”We must find a way to destroy it, or it will be very difficult to defeat the Shadow Council!”

”Indeed.” David said solemnly, ”But since we know of its existence, we cannot give up easily. We must continue fighting hard and find a way to destroy it!”

So the four continued to battle the members of the Shadow Council, searching for opportunities to destroy the secret weapon.

After much effort, they finally found a suitable opportunity and successfully destroyed the secret weapon!

With the destruction of the secret weapon, the members of the Shadow Council suddenly became flustered, and their combat power dropped significantly!

”The opportunity has come!” Lianna waved her magic staff and shouted, ”Everyone, attack together and completely destroy the Shadow Council!”

Saying this, the four launched a fierce attack, quickly defeating the members of the Shadow Council!

As the last figure in a black robe fell, this duel concerning the fate of the Dark World finally concluded!

...

After David and the three witches successfully defeated the Shadow Council and revealed their true nature, the Dark World seemed to have ushered in a brief period of peace and tranquility.

However, beneath this seemingly calm surface, a new undercurrent was quietly rising.

The Shadow Devouring Race, a mysterious race living in the shadows of the Dark World for a long time, felt an unprecedented threat upon witnessing the powerful strength of David’s Team.

They knew that if such a power was allowed to exist, their own status and safety would be severely threatened.

Hence, several spies from the Shadow Devouring Race secretly fled from the ruins of the Shadow Council with intelligence about David’s Team, reporting to the ruling group of the Dark World — the Eternal Night Council.

Located deep in the Dark World, the Eternal Night Council is the most powerful and mysterious force, dwelling in a magnificent palace.

It is composed of a group of Dark Elves with ancient bloodlines and powerful strength, long-term rulers of various corners of the Dark World.

When the spies of the Shadow Devouring Race presented the intelligence to the Elders of the Eternal Night Council, the entire council was immediately plunged into silence.

The Elders exchanged heavy glances, clearly shocked by the information.

”These intruders actually managed to defeat the Shadow Council?” an Elder whispered, his voice filled with disbelief.

”Yes, Elder.” The spy respectfully replied, ”Not only do they possess formidable magic and skills, but they also displayed extraordinary courage and wisdom. We must act quickly, or the consequences are unimaginable.”

After a moment of silence, a Elder stood up slowly, appearing to hold a high position.

”We cannot sit back and watch.” He said gravely, ”These intruders may threaten our ruling status of the Eternal Night Council. We must send our elite troops to pursue them and completely eliminate them!”

Thus, the Eternal Night Council quickly made the decision to dispatch an elite unit called the Eclipse Moon Knight Order to pursue David’s Team.

The Eclipse Moon Knight Order is one of the most powerful combat forces under the Eternal Night Council, composed of a group of Dark Knights trained rigorously, possessing great strength.

Wearing black Armor and wielding sharp Longswords, they can display amazing combat effectiveness in battles.

After receiving orders, the Eclipse Moon Knight Order immediately set off, heading to the last known location where David’s Team appeared to carry out the pursuit.

Following the traces left by David’s Team, they tracked them, through dense forests, over mountains, and across rivers... determined to bring these intruders to justice.

After defeating the Shadow Council, David and the three witches did not leave the ruins immediately.

They knew that although the Shadow Council was destroyed, the forces behind it might still pose a potential threat.

Therefore, they decided to stay in the ruins for a while, to gather more intelligence and clues to ensure true peace and tranquility for the Dark World.

However, they were unaware that danger was quietly approaching.

As the Eclipse Moon Knight Order neared the ruins, David’s Team was sitting around a campfire discussing their next plan.

Suddenly, a rapid sound of footsteps broke the quiet of the night.

The four stood alert, facing the direction of the sound, quickly spotting a group of Dark Knights wearing black Armor and wielding sharp Longswords approaching them.

”Not good! It’s the enemy!” David reacted immediately and shouted, ”Everyone prepare for battle!”

Aria, Lianna, and Nova quickly went into combat mode, clutching their magic staffs or weapons, ready to face the impending battle.

Very quickly, the Eclipse Moon Knight Order charged at them, and both sides immediately engaged in fierce confrontation.

The knights of the Eclipse Moon Knight Order possessed immense power and agile skills, able to quickly find the weaknesses of David’s Team and launch violent attacks.

But David’s Team, relying on a firm belief and harmonious cooperation, continually dodged and counterattacked, striving to withstand the knights’ assault.
