Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 946 - 428: Mysterious Creature (Part 2)

This scroll appears very old and fragile, yet it contains information and origins about the shadow creatures.

It turns out these creatures are a peculiar type named ”Shadow Beast,” born from the residual will and power of the Dark God.

They possess formidable strength and agility, allowing them to traverse freely in the darkness and attack enemies.

Moreover, they have a certain level of intelligence to execute simple tasks and commands.

”It seems these Shadow Beasts are the true form of the shadow creatures,” Aria remarked as she looked at the records on the scroll, ”And they are products nurtured by the residual will and power of the Dark God. This truly is an astounding discovery!”

”Indeed astonishing,” David said solemnly, ”But what’s more astonishing is that they can execute tasks and commands. This means there’s definitely someone or some force manipulating them!”

”Exactly!” Nova said as she waved her magic staff, ”We must find out who is behind this and stop their plot!”

So the four continued to search the secret chamber, trying to find more clues or evidence about the mastermind.

After some effort, they finally discovered a mysterious communication magic circle in a hidden corner of the secret chamber.

This magic circle appears very advanced and complex, capable of communication and information transmission across long distances.

”It seems this communication magic circle is the tool used by the mastermind to manipulate the Shadow Beasts,” Lianna analyzed, ”Moreover, through this magic circle, we can trace the whereabouts of the mastermind!”

”Great!” David exclaimed excitedly, ”Let’s quickly activate this communication magic circle to track the whereabouts of the mastermind!”

So the four worked together to activate the communication magic circle and began tracing the mastermind’s location.

After some effort, they finally pinpointed the general location of the mastermind—a mysterious castle deep within the Dark World!

”We found it!” Nova shouted excitedly, ”The mastermind is hiding in that mysterious castle! Let’s hurry and capture them!”

David nodded in agreement.

”Exactly!” he said determinedly, ”We can’t let the mastermind continue to manipulate the Shadow Beasts and endanger the Dark World! We must set off quickly to stop them!”

Thus, the four immediately left the secret chamber and embarked on their journey to the mysterious castle...

After several days of trekking, David and the three witches finally arrived at the mysterious castle deep within the Dark World.

This castle appears exceptionally tall and majestic, yet it exudes a sinister and terrifying aura, as if it’s a cursed ruin.

”It seems this castle is the hideout of the mastermind,” Aria said as she gazed at the castle, ”But it looks extremely dangerous; we must proceed cautiously.”

David nodded in agreement.

”Indeed, we need to be careful,” he said gravely, ”But since we’ve arrived here, we can’t give up easily. We must bravely face the challenge and capture the mastermind!”

So the four carefully approached the castle and began to search meticulously.

They examined every door and every window of the castle, trying to find an entrance.

After some effort, they finally found a concealed underground passage entrance.

This entrance was located on the side wall of the castle, very hidden and not easy to discover.

The four proceeded through the passage, passing through numerous traps and mechanisms, eventually reaching a gigantic underground palace.

This underground palace was extraordinarily spacious and luxurious, adorned with many precious gems and artworks.

However, the palace was empty, with only some strange runes and patterns flickering with eerie light on the walls.

”It seems this is the hideout of the mastermind,” Lianna said as she surveyed the surroundings, ”But they don’t seem to be here now. We must quickly find them and stop their plot!”

David nodded in agreement.

”Exactly!” he said firmly, ”Let’s split up and search the palace for the whereabouts of the mastermind! Once we find any trace of them, let’s notify each other immediately!”

Thus, the four split up and began to search the palace carefully.

They inspected every room, every corner, trying to find clues or evidence of the mastermind.

After a round of searching, they finally made some important discoveries.

First, in a secret chamber of the palace, they found some strange experimental equipment and potion bottles.

This equipment and these potion bottles appeared very advanced and complex, seemingly tools for conducting some mysterious experiments.

Moreover, on the wall of the secret chamber, there were carvings of experimental records and data about the Shadow Beasts, indicating that the mastermind had been researching how to control and enhance the power of the Shadow Beasts.

”It seems the mastermind has been researching how to control and enhance the power of the Shadow Beasts,” Aria said as she looked at the experimental records in the secret chamber, ”And they seem to have already achieved some results. We must stop their research quickly; otherwise, the consequences would be unimaginable!”

”Indeed,” David said solemnly, ”But even more importantly, we need to find the mastermind and capture them! Otherwise, they will continue to manipulate the Shadow Beasts to endanger the Dark World!”

Thus, the four continued to search the palace, trying to find the whereabouts of the mastermind.

After some effort, they finally discovered the trace of the mastermind in a hidden basement!

The mastermind turned out to be a mysterious figure in a black robe!

He appeared extremely sinister and terrifying, wearing a hideous mask that covered most of his face.

Moreover, he held a magic staff embedded with a gem that flickered with an eerie light!

”Finally found you!”

Nova yelled angrily, waving her magic staff, ”How dare you manipulate the Shadow Beasts to endanger the Dark World! Today is your end!”

The black-robed man sneered coldly and said, ”You think you can capture me? How ridiculous! But since you’re here, don’t even think about leaving alive!”

Saying this, the black-robed man waved his magic staff and unleashed powerful dark magic to attack the four!

An intense battle erupted in the underground palace immediately...

Faced with the black-robed man’s attack, David and the three witches fearlessly met the assault.

They each cast powerful magic and skills, engaging in a fierce confrontation with the black-robed man.

The black-robed man’s magic was extremely powerful and eerie, capable of manipulating dark energy to form various attack methods.

He continuously unleashed dark energy waves, dark fireballs, and dark tentacles in an attempt to defeat them.

However, the four, with their resolute belief and courageous spirit, kept dodging and counterattacking, gradually gaining the upper hand.

”Be careful, everyone!” David shouted to remind his companions, ”This black-robed man’s magic is very powerful; we must not let our guard down!”

Upon hearing this, Aria, Lianna, and Nova all responded to the black-robed man’s attacks with increased caution.

They used their respective magic and skills to maneuver with the black-robed man, seeking an opportunity to defeat him.

After a hard-fought battle, the four finally found the black-robed man’s weakness—the magic staff in his hand!

It turns out this staff was not only his tool for casting magic but also the source of his power.

Destroying this staff would weaken his power and potentially defeat him!

Finding this weakness, the four immediately adjusted their strategy and concentrated their attacks on the black-robed man’s magic staff.

After a series of fierce bombings, the staff finally emitted a crisp cracking sound and fell to the ground!

Without the staff, the black-robed man became significantly weaker, unable to unleash the powerful magic attacks from before.

Seeing this, the four launched a fierce assault, quickly cornering the black-robed man with no escape.

”Surrender!” David shouted, ”You have no way out!”

However, the black-robed man was exceptionally stubborn, struggling to stand up and waving his hands in a final attempt to resist.

But all effort was in vain, as, under the four’s mighty assault, he soon fell to the ground, motionless.
